This is a beautiful property is a great location in the heart of Tuscany! We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa which was amazing. It had a wonderful kitchen where we cooked a few meals, a great patio and was a short walk to the resort's pool. There was no washer and dryer in the unit, but there was a shared laundry not far from our unit which was free to use and provided laundry soap. They offered a breakfast which was delivered to your door for 16 euros per couple. It was a wonderful breakfast. We did day trips to Siena, Pisa, and San Gimignano, which were each under an hour's drive from the resort. There was a COOP grocery store in Montaione, only a 5 minute drive from the property, which was very convenient to pick up groceries. Highly recommend this fantastic property!

The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable. This was our only minor complaint, not enough to keep us from staying here again!

I liked everything

Everything about Il Torrino Country Resort was absolutely AMAZING!!! I cannot recommend this resort highly enough! The location was perfect, it was secluded, we had our own little private space outside, plus it had a fireplace, dishwasher, full kitchen and a comfortable bed! The room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated too! You can tell the owner truly cares about the comfort of his guests. Not to mention the price was extremely reasonable. Our friends were staying at another much more expensive resort, yet I preferred Il Torrino over their place. Also, Sara, who helped us check in and took care of us during our stay, was wonderful!!!! She was very responsive and was very quick to answer any questions we had and wanted to make sure our stay there was perfect!!! I would give this resort 10 stars if I could!!!

We stayed in Magifico. It was amazing. Clean, cosy and cute.. exactly what you expect from a Tuscan cottage. Staff was super helpful and polite. Did not try the restaurant but heard good reviews from other guests. The cottage itself is fully equipped.

Montaione is a bit far from the 'to see' villages of Tuscany but the resort makes up for it in calmness and beauty. The town leaves a lot to be desired.. don't expect good choices for dinner or drinks. There is small supermarket in Montaione but I suggest you stock up on supplies before you arrive to the village.

The resort is in a truly great condition and beautifully kept. The apartments/houses are original and old, very nicely renovated, clean and well decorated. The pool is perfect for hot days and the tennis court is a blast for early mornings or late afternoon sports. The best thing about Torrino however was the exceptionally helpful and service oriented attitude from staff and the owner - really trying to help with every question, request, or problem we had. Finally, the restaurant, recently taken over by Andrea with a menu of Tuscan classics, has been a regular highlight of our stay. The view and location is spectacular and the kids absolutely loved it (and him). The food is home cooked, keeps up with the best restaurants in the region, and is very reasonably priced. True passion for food and cooking is all I have to say... All in all, absolutely recommendable and we will certainly be back.
