Situated in Folly Beach, this charming house for $545 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Very bright sunlit home with splashes of color, new furniture and family antiques decorate this comfortable home perfect for small families or getaways. Excellent location within the block of town and two blocks to a beach ( guarded beach Memorial Day to Labor Day). Walk to restaurants, bars and shopping! Quality home throughout! Large family room open to kitchen with seated island, stainless appliances, Corian counter tops, tile floors and separate dining room. A cook's kitchen features every gadget, plenty of pots and pans, serving ware and glassware. Enjoy a wonderful main level porch with Adirondack chairs overlooking the yard and oak trees.Half bath, laundry room with new machines and outside private shower too ( our favorite!)! Upper level bedrooms boasts wonderful luxury mattresses and bedding with a separate hall to an upper porch overlooking the street. Fabulous bedding with NEW top of the line Serta pillow top mattresses plus quality linens, washed in house - WE DO NOT USE A LINEN SERVICE-WE USE QUALITY LINEN-ALL PROVIDED.. Beautiful cherry Brazilian hardwood grace both floors. The master features a king bed, the front sunlit bedroom a king bed and the middle bedroom features 2 twins and double bed. The master bath has a luxury soaking tub and a separate shower plus there is an additional newly renovated bathroom. Two flat screen TVs, plus wireless internet. There is parking for three cars and storage area of for all the beach gear under the stilted home. For your convenience, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, foil, plastic wrap, salt, pepper, spices, laundry and dish soap are provided. There are beach towels located in the laundry room (please wash and return)and some beach chairs, depending how tenants care for them throughout the season in the storage bin under the house. The house has a list of "to do's" prior to leaving such as putting dirty linen and towels in laundry room, take out all trash, trash cans to hill on appropriate days, clean out/wipe out refrigerator- please check this list. The home is a home away from home with comfortable quality furnishing and decor. Our limitations specify no additional people without approval, no pets at any time, no smoking, no candles/ confetti/glitter/tape on the walls. Breaking of these limitations could end in eviction. Unfortunately damage has occurred previously. Our goal is that guests have a fantastic time and our home stays in good repair. Thank you for your help. Enjoy!

This property couldn’t be at a better location for the price! Walking distance to everything from shops & restaurants to the beach! There’s also a golf cart to rent parked under the property if we wanted to explore the area even further. VERY clean home with everything we needed for the trip & even fun extras (like kid’s books for my daughter & multiple beach towels/beach supplies). I will say there are several notes around the house that made me a little neurotic about following all the rules. Nothing so far out of the norm but definitely stated in a more aggressive way than we’ve seen at other rental locations. We had absolutely no issues with following the instructions but just caught myself being a little more on edge checking all the boxes before leaving.

Stay started off amazing as Cary was able to work with us to get into the house a bit earlier than checking time. It really helped a lot. Slight issue with WiFi but was resolved. The house was located in literally the best spot. Right off center street, easily walkable to the beach and to all the restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The house has so many things to use like floats, a mini cooler for the beach, equipped with PLENTY of kitchen supplies and even a pretty solid junk drawer! Lol the one spare bedroom that shows a bunk bed on the posting, is now a single and a double bed, great upgrade! clean up instructions aren’t terrible, but would still like to question VRBO why we pay for cleaning fees when there is chores expected from guests at checkout. Regardless, great stay in a prime location. One thing to note about folly beach in general, it’s nearly impossible to get Ubers or Lyfts to Charleston or out of dolly beach. Don’t rely on rideshares. And if you need them, schedule in advanced. But still not guaranteed a driver. HIGHLY recommend renting mopeds/trikes at folly beach moped rentals! Awesome way to see the island!

We were in Folly Beach attending a relative's wedding celebration. The house was very clean, comfortable, and close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The owner was responsive to the little issues that inevitably arise.

We stayed in Folly Beach for a wedding over Memorial Day weekend and this house was perfect to accommodate our family of 6. It had plenty of space for everyone! It is also located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. My son loved all of the children’s books that were on the shelf in the room he stayed in. We had and excellent stay!

So, the owner is super amazing in communication and made check in easy. The house is GORGEOUS and clean! Great layout!! Parking was easy and we had room for both of our cars. (could have had a third no problem) However we NEVER used our cars. This home is walking distance to EVERYTHING! No paid parking to worry about or even uber. You can literally walk to all the restaurants and to the beach! Which was a dream! The home was VERY well decorated and the owner truly thought of everything for our stay such as towels, starter pack toiletries, and even board games. This is a Must stay! I will rent this home again and highly recommend it.

Cary was attentive and responsive. The house was even more beautiful than we expected. The beds felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The decor was so homey but also kid-friendly. Games and books galore! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with essentials like oil and ketchup. Cary is a top notch host and this is an AMAZING rental. We will come back every year for our Folly vacation if we can!

The house was very clean and short walk to Center St and the beach. Our family had a great time staying here. The only small inconvenience is the condo complex on the closest part of the beach to this house. It was still a short walk, but had to walk around the condos to get to the beach.

Rented the house with another couple and LOVED it. Perfect location for walking to anything on Folly. Relatively quiet at night and great porches for hanging out during the brief rainstorms. The house was perfectly appointed and had a very well stocked kitchen. Didn’t want for a single thing the entire stay. Loved it!

What a great house, just as advertised. The location doesn't get much better, and the house was fantastic. Very clean, accessible, close to everything in Folly Beach, and the Owners were great and VERY easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend "The Flip Side" house for a vacation. Wish we had more time. We'll be back for sure!

This home is amazing! The photos don't do it justice, it feels like home and is quite comfortable. There is a ton of parking and the outdoor shower is a relaxing touch. The coolest thing is the hidden outdoor stairway so you can easily enter the home in your towel without being seen! The home is located so conveniently! You are a very short walk into the main part of town with a ton of restaurants (most have open-air options and outdoor seating), shops, and walk-up food options. The beach is open, you can easily walk up in front of the Tides hotel. This is the home to rent!

The location is perfect, close to town, close to beach and we rented a golf cart and had a safe place to park it. Rooms are nice and spacious. There were some challenges with receiving the welcome letter, but the host provided the required information quickly. We stayed when the weather was unsettled and were asked to move the outdoor furniture. There are a lot of signs throughout the property with warnings on your use of the property and seem excessive, but i am sure are helpful if you stay a long time. The trip itself was nice, a few hiccups, but nothing bad. The challenge came about 12 hours after we left. The host texted me with accusations that we brought a dog. I immediately texted back informing her that we did not bring a dog and also called and left a message. The text were of a threatening nature accusing me of breaking a contract and lease. Informing me that she has pictures and will be sending them to VRBO so I will have to pay for a deep cleaning. I again tried to speak to her and she told me to take it up with VRBO. This was all done based on the cleaning crew findIng a lot of hair ( she is out of state). I can’t speak to the hair because I am not sure where the hair was found, but my daughter has long hair and so do I. Either way, I was wrongly accused of something, and threatened with additional fees on the already $170 cleaning fee. I opened a complaint with VRBO at the recommendation of the host and provided the receipt from our boarding company for the trip. Other points for anyone using VRBO. I had not planned to review this property as it may have been a one-off experience., however I was told since the host reviewed me first I had to provide a review or I would not be able to publish a response. I am writing this WITHOUT seeing her review of me. I cannot even view what the host wrote. The property is perfect and we would have definitely went back if it weren’t for the unprofessional experience after the trip.

This house was in a great location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Close to town. If you are a social person, this is the house for you - town is only a couple of minutes walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Very clear house instructions left by owner and she is responsive via phone. We had a great weekend!
