Nestled in Portarlington, this lovely cottage for $204 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Le Petit Palais du Port is a charming cottage in the heart of the small bayside town of Portarlington along the Bellarine Peninsula. It is set in a pretty private courtyard within the lovely garden of the neighbouring house. The studio has a QS bed and stylish ensuite behind a Shoji screen sliding door. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a decent sized fridge (for bottles of local wine, cheeses, mussels, oysters, smoked salmon and more), Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, electric wok and Weber BBQ in the courtyard. There is a reverse cycle air-con for heating & cooling. There is free wi-fi. The lounge area has a smart TV with Netflix and retro Grant Featherstone 60’s lounge chairs… plus a piano for the musically inclined. Upon your stay, you will be greeted with a chilled bottle of Terindah sparkling wine, and chilled champagne glasses, in the fridge. You can even select between the Terindah Estate Methode Traditionnelle or Sparkling Pinot Noir. If you prefer still wine, there is also a choice of a Terindah Pinot Noir, Rose, Chardonnay or Pinot Gris. Plus, gourmet chocolates from Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie.

The property was cosy, clean and very inviting! Fantastic, quiet location within close proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach. We really appreciated the nice bottle of wine and delicious chocolates from Great Ocean Road on arrival. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back! Great little getaway to Portarlington at Jeanettes place. Loved the thoughtful additions of the bubbles and great ocean road chocolates. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and relaxing. It’s as about 8 minutes to meander to the nearby shops and just a few short minutes walk to the beach.

My partner and I stayed at Le Petit Palais du Port for a weekend just to get away from the city. The place was clean, cosy and comfortable, with a functional kitchenette that had everything we needed for our short stay. Janette was a wonderful host with great communication. She was helpful, generous and friendly while respecting our privacy. The free bottle of wine and chocolate was a thoughtful touch! The location was perfect for us as we didn't drive and could enjoy a stroll to the beach, cafes/restaurants and shops. We highly recommend Le Petit Palais du Port and will be back!

The accommodation was exactly as advertised. Location only a short walk into the township for meals and close to a lovely bike path along the beach which we enjoyed. Janette is a friendly and helpful host. What more could we ask for?

The pace was a little smaller than expected... but surrounded by beautiful gardens and eager little dogs off the owner, (from behind the gate!) It was a lively little hideaway for the night. Great bed, beautiful outdoor area small enough to warm up when it got cool out side and very tastefully decorated. I could never have fallen on the lounge chairs, but they fitted in the the environment! The host was friendly and welcoming, but gave us the space to relax.

Little extra details everywhere were excellent. Jannette is lovely and helpful, has great local information and is welcoming in a way that makes you feel right at home. Beautiful garden views, a funky kitchen, a minute walk max to the waters edge and a working upright piano are excellent vibe additions. Netflix, wifi and air-con are welcome must-haves making the place comfy to stay at home and relax if it's raining. Recommended for sure.
