The perfect place to relax and disconnect from the world. Great wine and food!

The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is everything you hoped for. It’s a really quiet and quaint location, the wine and food make this place entirely self sufficient. The view over the valley is superb!

Worst experience ever

Panorama and good breakfast

Not worth the money. Rooms are basic and too warm. Furnishing is cheap and overall not so clean. I have been charged twice by mistake and never got my money back. Really do not reccomend this hotel. Staff is not welcoming and not collaborative.

Amazing views!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Podere Montale. The staff at this property are all great! The sunset views from our apartament were beyond expectations. It was an unforgettable experience.

The swimming pool could be arranged more nicely and the breakfast could be improved.

Classic Tuscan style accommodation, quiet and surrounded by beautiful hills and olive trees.

Classic Tuscan style villas, it was the perfect quiet base to explore the val d’orcia region. It was surrounded by rolling hills, olive trees, and even 2 horses. There is a restaurant on site for a convenient dinner, breakfast buffet had a decent variety. Overall a very relaxing stay and just what we were looking for in terms of a Tuscan countryside escape!

Had a little issue with WiFi connection from the villa we were staying in.

Exceptional place, wonderful location, professional staff.

The location is wonderful. In reality, it looks even better than on pictures. It is very clean, combination between modern and medieval, newly refurbished. The staff was very friendly, especially Ana Maria who was professional during wine tasting and during the entire stay. She careful and responsive to our needs.

A gem between the Tuscan hills

we fell in love already at first sight! The apartment was spacious, clean, the bed is amazing! the staff is nice, we were late, they book a table at the nearby restaurant for us at last minute! the views and tranquility are picture perfect. breakfast was set up at the terrace and was enough to start a day. we had a quick tour trough cantina before we left. the whole property is amazing, we couldn’t be more happy to stay. we were sorry to have booked only for one night.

They need a lot of work on the facilites coz are old and rusty.the breakfast is in other bilding and the road by car is difficult.

The hotel is just amazing with such a beautiful view over the Tuscany valley, I would not even say that the pictures do it any justice cause in reality it is even more beautiful. Simone is an extremely nice guy who will make you feel welcome from the first moment. I can only recommend this place for your stay

Perfect stay in the middle of Toscana

Beautiful accomodation in the middle of the picturesque fields of Val d’Orcia. Modern, spatious and very clean rooms with a superb view over the fields. Good breakfast with beautiful view. Very kind and supportive staff. A true authentic stay in Toscana that I highly recommend.

Lack of air conditioning, nights are hot in this period. Windows should also have something to prevent insects from going in as you can’t sleep without them open. The road is pretty bad for a few kilometers from the main road, so you need to drive carefully.

Apartment with garden and sunset views

House and surroundings made an outright beautiful, peaceful impression. Very friendly welcome. Fully equipped apartment with small garden and spectacular sunset views. Good selection of vines, reasonably priced. Friendly dogs. Pity that we missed the opportunity for dinner which they offer in collaboration with a Michelin starred restaurant of the region. Should definitely have stayed a few days longer.

Disappointing

The location is stunning and it’s a beautiful property.

They never cleaned our room during our three day stay. Breakfast was supermarket-like quality, and there was no air conditioning. The last night we booked dinner for 13 people at the property. It turned out that half of the menu was missing. Neither side dishes nor dessert were available, and they ran out of bread after the first 10 minutes. It was, however, quite pricey. When I told the hostess, Erica, the next day, she was most unhelpful and didn’t utter a word of apology. We don’t recommend it.
