As advertised! Great spot.

Love the location and size of the condo. This is our 2nd year at this spot and we’ll continue to choose it. Front desk people are a little challenging to work with at times but customer service isn’t what it use to be at most places. The front desk girl checked us in for 2 nights instead of 3 and as a result the keys no longer worked - we found this out after a long day of skiing as we all stood around the door trying our keys. Leaving everyone sitting in the hallway, I went downstairs to to get a new key and was told that I needed to have one of the old keys before they could look up why there was a problem. I showed ID and told them the room but they insisted that I would need to go back up stairs and grab one of the old keys and bring it back down before they could look into the issue. I went back upstairs and grabbed one of the old keys and when I returned to the front desk they told me what had happened at check in and made up new keys. The point is that if you want a good room in a good location at an affordable price and can do without service this is a great spot.

Location very good for accessing village but fairly long walk in ski boots & carrying skis to lifts. Best to store skis overnight at Carleton Lodge & rent a day locker for walking boots

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable condo which is situated in a beautiful nook of Whistler Village. Looking forward to returning in the winter.

Couldn't ask for a better location or set up than Deer Lodge #354!
Kitchen well stocked with basic cooking utensils/dishes/pots/pans, as well as leftover tidbits like olive oil, aluminum foil, spices, etc.
Lots of extra pillows in the closet and on the beds to choose from.
Fantastic location right in the village, over our favorite restaurant/bar. The restaurant/bar closes their outdoor seating at 10pm, and it wasn't too noisy during our stay, with living room windows open.
Main bedroom has an air conditioner unit, definitely needed to be able to sleep when temps are 30C+. A box fan is available for the living room and/or smaller bedroom area, and it did offer some help when it was 30C but the living space did get pretty warm/stuffy from late afternoon until evening.
Plenty of towels, dish towels, kitchen sponge, courtesy toiletries, etc. Space well cleaned on our arrival, laundry soap included for washer/dryer.
The assigned parking spot would be tough for large vehicles. It's located between a concrete pillar and a diagonal guest parking spot. If the guests park well, and close to their own concrete pillar, it's not a problem. But if they don't pull far enough in, or far enough over, it's very tough to get into the assigned spot and feel confident the guest car won't hit you when they pull out. Once you're in, it's equally tough to get back out.
Will definitely stay again!

I think it would be nice for the rooms to be updated and have the lamp lights working. Also to have AC in all rooms.

Spacious condo. Walking distance from shops, dining and gondola. Down side is its above a large bar and if you want to go to bed before 2am bring ear plugs.

Everything is accurately summarised in the property online listing. The only issue I had was the noise level at night, although there is a 10 pm noise curfew, the bar/ restaurant underneath the suite was still going strong past 10 on all three nights we were there.

We had other family at the Delta Suites resort next door. They had Same bed configuration. Much less space and almost no kitchen for much more $. The 10 of is had family meals comfortably at our place twice in the week. Great trip

Really wonderful- needs some TLC, including a new mattress - VRBO owner was fantastic

Overall, pretty good
Overall, this was a good stay. Great location in the Village, plenty of room for four adults. A few items that could use improvement: 1) There is only AC in the main bedroom. The remainder of the place was uncomfortably hot the entire time. So be aware of that if you are coming in the summer and bring a fan or portable AC unit. 2) Communication with owner was fine up until we arrived when I sent a message asking if there were any fans to try and cool down the condo. I still have yet to hear from them. We had to go spend more than $50 on a fan to try and make the rest of the condo comfortable enough to hang out in when we weren't out and about. 3) Just be aware the location is directly above El Furniture Warehouse, the busiest bar/restaurant in the village and it gets noisy at night as the folks start imbibing more. If you can keep the windows closed it isn't an issue, but as I mentioned, we had to keep them open at night to try and cool the place off, so the noise was a huge issue for us. 4) The balcony in the photos and mentioned is not a usable balcony, it is a Juliet balcony where only two people can stand since there is not enough room for a chair. 5) The sheets on the primary bed kept coming off in the middle of the night because they are a tad too small, and the room is pretty tight with the end tables, which made it hard to try and remake the bed in the middle of the night. 6) This is not an owner issue, but one they should bring up with the property. Not once was the gate to the Deer Lodge parking down, and they ask you to keep your bikes either in an uninsured storage room that is accessible with a room key or locked up on a bike rack in the garage.
If you are looking for a centrally located place to stay, you'd be hard pressed to find a better location, just be aware there are some challenges (mostly ones that would be an issue in the summer) that come with that.

Whistler Family Jaunt
Solid and well run property, parking was easy and the unit was as advertised and well appointed. Nothing fancy but clean. The communication and availability of staff was seamless. There was some late night music from the ground level bar but it didn't go late fortunately. The north side of the village is a good walk from gondolas but we knew this going in, snow was AMAZING and Mid-April is much less crowded for lift lines and restaurant reservations.

Great Location! Management so so.
Super fun spot. This is a corner unit that looks right over a main square with great view of Blackcomb and a good view of Whistler. Easy walk to the lifts.
We didn't do any cooking, but if we were to return we would bring a supply of kitchen equipment. Pretty lame.
My only gripe is the level of care/management. I can only assume the HOA fees to the owner are significant and think they should be getting more for their money. Numerous light bulbs/lamps not working properly or funky light bulbs stuffed in where they shouldn't be (sounds petty, but a simple thing to get right). We also found electrical covers off to exposed wiring... In addition, there was a fire alarm that went off at 2am and the building evacuated. The entire building guests sat outside for an hour waiting for response(-2 degrees F). NO ONE from management would answer the "emergency line". Apparently a fire sprinkler failed and flooded a restaurant in the ground floor of the building.
Anyhow, Whistler is amazing...

This apartment is centrally located within Whistler Village. The big downside is that it is located above one of the most popular restaurants in the village, which leads to a bit of noise. If you are ok with that, this place is a great place for your Whistler vacation. Also on a minor note some of the furniture is nearing it's end of life.

The only thing going for this condo is the location. We walked in and were overwhelmed with the extreme odour, smelled like extremely pungent body odour. We lifted the covers on all the beds as they didn’t look like they were tucked in like you’d normally see, there was hair and dirt in all the beds. Clearly they had not been changed from the previous renters. I call the front desk and they had the cleaning people come back. They changed only the sheets. The pillow covers and duvets smelled so bad still. The smell did not dissipate over our two night stay. It was also so hot in the condo, there is a/c but only in the master bedroom. Between the heat and the smell we weren’t happy for the price we paid. I’d love to get a refund but not sure how that’s going to happen. I would not recommend unless this unit gets a complete clean from top to bottom.

Awesome location
Great central location. Park across the road for dogs. Bring earplugs though since the bar downstairs is noisy! A few housekeeping items needs attending too, but overall a good stay.

Great location, beautiful view
The location of the property is very convenient. Right on the village stroll with easy access to everything you need. It can be a bit noisy at night as revellers often gather on the street outside.
There is a beautiful view from the apartment looking up to the mountain.
The apartment is comfortable, though could do with some updating.
Overall, a very pleasant stay

Nice location, but Super Noisy and Not Well Equipped
This unit is on the 3rd floor overlooking the village pavilion. There will logically be some noise from people in the square, but what wasn't disclosed is that there is a bar directly below the unit that stays open until 1am that creates a fairly steady stream of noise throughout the early morning hours. That bar does not seem to disperse people so every night we were awoken by drunk people. That's not the condo's fault, but this unit would not be good for anyone needing a full night's sleep.
The furnishing are good, but the kitchen is severely lacking in suppliers and is not usable to cook. There are no saucepans, just 2 large dutch ovens and a broken frying pan. The condo sleeps 6 but there are only 2 wine glasses (one of which is cracked) and 4 other glasses (one of which is cracked) so you will need to eat out unless the owner or manager can address missing items.

Centrally located aparment in whistler village
Fairly spacious 2BR/2BA apartment in Deer Lodge in the heart of Whistler Village with kitchen, in unit washer/dryer, fireplace, balcony overlooking village stroll. Short 10 minute walk to base of Whistler and even closer to several restaurants and shopping. Location was really prime.
With the upside of this location comes a downside... there is moderate street noise appreciable in the bedrooms and living spaces from nearby eateries/bars. Would recommend bringing earplugs.
Other than that minor inconvenience, we loved our stay here!

Great value, great location
We enjoyed our stay here. The suite was cozy and comfortable and the location was right in the village. The view from our room was awesome. We did feel that there could be some upgrading to the furniture and the kitchen utensils. The couch wasn’t super comfortable and the bed was lumpy. The wifi didn’t work after the first night and it was very hot in our room. We couldn’t adjust the temperature. We actually had to put air conditioning on in November! It is located right above a loud pub so we heard music and drunk people until the early hours, but we expected that and didn’t really mind. We were late to check in but there was a nice note on the door explaining the process. However we did still wait half an hour outside for the security to let us in and then he forgot some things and we had to come back the next day. No big deal though, as we were arriving past check in time. Despite the minor things, we did enjoy our stay and would come back again.

Great vaction
We had a great time last week in Whistler. This was my first time booking a VRBO unit and the process was very simple and convenient. The unit was exactly as described and the location in the village was perfect!
Honestly, we really didn't have any issues or complaints during our stay and there wasn't anything we wished would have been different.
Would highly recommend this unit and will definitely book this unit again the next time we are traveling back to Whistler.

Central location but noisy
The place was nice and had plenty of room. Just a heads up it is right above the El Furniture Warehouse and faces the main thoroughfare, so there is lots of street noise at night.
