Location and exterior of the house.
Our door had been kicked in and so didn't feel secure. The amenities in the room need to be improved. Just didn't feel there was enough care taken to make the room feel comfortable. The size of the room was fine.

Nate was exceptional- I had forgotten a key item and he sacrificially loaned me a substitute from his personal supply for the night.

We really enjoyed staying in this charming, old Nantucket home. Nate was wonderful, and even moved us to a larger, nicer room! I will definitely stay there again!

Nate was very friendly and provided excellent breakfast foods. Thanks for the beach chairs.
Bathroom was very small. Very little storage.

The breakfast was fantastic - Innkeeper Nate was super friendly and gracious
Additionally, great private outdoor seating area to enjoy breakfast
Would definitely stay there again on next visit to island
the only thing that wasn't terrific was that we were on the 3rd floor of the Inn and stairs are steep and no elevator, due to the age of the Inn

The location was great. Easy walking distance to the downtown area. Breakfast was really nice. A good variety of lighter food and had a nice area outside to sit.

Innkeeper, Nate was very helpful. Good information. Friendly and accessible. 5/5 stars for him. Historic house with wide floor boards and nautical history.
Jetty Beach a little under a mile away was superb. Walking or biking the best way to get there. Queen size bed comfortable and room was very clean. Good beach towels. General informality welcome break from uptight city life. Recommend first floor room for ease in access.
Cost. the cost per day at over $700 over August weekend was higher than most 5 star hotels in the US and this room and amenities would be rated at 2 stars. However, everything is market driven. Other nearby hotels or Inns were only slightly less and one nearby hotel was $2000 per day. Welcome to Nantucket in season.

welcoming staff, great location (walkable to town & port)
the property needs maintenance - paint peeling on the walls, etc. small touches would make a big difference to elevate the property.

bathroom in Horatio is tiny. no bigger than an airplane bathroom

It was fine. I usually like hot breakfasts better than a carb rich breakfast but the variety was good. A fruit salad would have been great to go along with the carbs. The drip coffee was great.
Maybe afternoon snacks like chips, granola bars, cookies with some juices or small cans of soda since it's a lot of walking to center to get that kind of stuff.

Everything 😀 we had a wonderful visit. The location was amazing, we easily made it to the Inn with bags and bikes! Our host, Nate was beyond accommodating, we were able to check in early, he gave us delicious suggestions for dinner and day trips. The continental breakfast was a full meal for us, fresh fruit, quiche, smoothies and pastries.
