For as much as I paid for an Anniversary weekend. The service SUCKED .

The room was beautiful

I got sick off the mishandling of Food... notified Manager no one came to check on Me. Went for breakfast was a Roach in My food. Instead of replacing it. He laughed and continued to eat his cereal. I paid 14,680 to get sick 🤮... will not return and definitely will not recommend.

Staff was friendly

No breakfast was provided, talked to someone he told me i am the first one to ever ask for anything concerning breakfast at the resort.

The perfect place to enjoy and relax ☺️

Well i can only say the same thing .. I'm like a regular there and i keep coming back time after time .. all the staff is nice and welcoming 🙂.. they get to know a person fast and all the time you feel comfortable and welcoming 🙂... The food is great .. the V.I.P pool is nice and you can look out over the ocean... So i me and my husband will come back every time ... Smile 😊

Lovely place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was round the back and was more that suitable… the lads out there were also super helpful for everything we needed help with. Amazing location and very beautiful beachfront.

Could’ve done with a mosquito net, we got eaten alive.

Exceptional

This is a piece of heaven on earth. Best hotel We ever stayed at, super nice and modern luxury apartment with a sea-view. The owner, all the staff. At the reception Lamin is a great man along with all his collegues. The staff by the pool and restaurant, to Pa, Malik and Elton. Thank you to everyone at Kasumai. Great work from all guys and girls. We only wish we stayed longer ❤ Nice pools and Auping beds, very comfy and nice. Feels just like home 😁

Poor customer service

The view of the ocean, the pool is nice.

Customer service is very poor, there is zero marketing of services in the hotel. Weddings and towel not changed even though I requested. No hot water on check out day. Little or no effort from staffs to make stay pleasurable and fun. I wont be going back there for sure.

Exceptional

The Seaview was fantastic, the room and bed was really good and comfortable. The location was fantastic due to its close proximity with the senegambia strip, yet peaceful and calm.

The telephone wasn't working or maybe we didn't know how to use it?

Very good

The staff was friendly and easy going .. when you needet something they was kind to help .. breakfast was normal and you get the same ... It's not far from restaurant and close to shopping they gave taxi at the hotel so easy to go from there and back .. the V.I.P pool is clean .. and easy to order coffee and drink when you are there ..but all in all good.

There is nothing bad to say. . all in all okay

A great choice in Banjul close to the beach.

Great location in Banjul. Good place to stay. The hotel has 2 restaurants, the "normal" and anothre "BBQ" which is not cheap but really good.

Furniture seems a little old.

The room was spacious, good view overlooking the seaside. Shower facilities excellent.

Breakfast plan was very poor. No variation at all, too basic, no information about cuisine like lunch, dinner and breakfast could have been organised better like leaving menu's in rooms or offering room service. Leakages of pipe in Bath which is minor. Not often you see someone at reception in case a guest wants something.

we have been many times to Kasumai this time feel the guest houses need cosmetically tidying up. we still don’t understand why you can’t use the top pool as it’s only for guests using the main hotel nobody uses it so left unused?? the guest house guests have to use the pool that’s open to the public?? the staff arriving and leaving work in the mornings could be more thoughtful to guests not wanting to wake at an early hour

Near the beach.

The noise on the carpark every morning with taxi drivers shouting and arguing, it starts about 7.30 in the morning so if you want a lie in forgett it.

I will advise anyone booking that hotel to sure what they are getting before making payments

Pictures displayed on the website does not look anything like what I was given, when I complained I was told, you paid for double room and that is what you get. I replied if you had a picture of this double room on your website I will never have booked it even for one pound.

Shower was not running, No hot water, I the bathroom was dirty and the furnishings of the room I am short of word to describe for the price I paid, compare to other I saw in that area. When I complained I was told to pay more to upgrade.

Good accommodation and will not go again.

friendly staff

They do not have proper machines for payment. They use an online system for card payment which is not acceptable. And only one staff for payment who also went on sick. No one knows what to do. I had to get cash to complete my payments, which I did not expect to happen. Breakfast is boring and late (from 7.30 - 7.40 am).

only thing I liked about this property was the view

the staff, roaches, and the breakfast was horrible. It seemed as if every guest was there for prostitution purposes, you couldn’t really enjoy the beach because it was so many people on it that didn’t stay at the hotel, and the beach was filthy. The guest that had other things in mind had no problem with any of these things. I even had a Russian man(looked to be Russian) open his door and ask me to his room as I was going down stairs to the restaurant. that was the whole vibe of Kasumai. if your just coming to enjoy the beach and not feel weird vibes all around you I wouldn’t recommend this place at all..

Kasumai's staff is its greatest asset

The regular staff and the masseuse.

Slow response to request for airport transport. Was arriving at midnight in a country I was visiting for the first time. And as a solo female traveler. Days before my trip I sent messages and called to request airport pick up. Booking.com also called and sent a message on my behalf. But no response. I finally heard from them when I was boarding my flight. At this point I had already made alternative arrangements. This was not a great start. The staff were apologetic (which is why the staff is the greatest asset here). Turns out the boss (who does everything from responding to booking.com messages, processing card payments, and shopping) was sick. So nothing was done. Wifi was a pain. Going on and off. It was frustrating. However once again the staff did the best they could despite the limitations. For instance, when I had no wifi in my room they accommodated me in the office so I could have my meeting.

Lovely hotel but health & safety needs to be reviewed

The staff are lovely as usual

The room had a massive damp patch with moles on it which is obviously due to the A.C Thank God we were only there for one night as long term stay in that environment is highly dangerous to health
