The location of the property is great. Very close to the the train station which is convenient and strategic. We leveraged it to go to Pompeii and it was helpful for an early departure to our next destination in Amalfi.
The apartment looks like it is in a rough area. My wife was frazzled by it at first but came to terms with it. The elevator is tight but well appreciated. There seems to be a lot of activity in the building but not to the level where it is bothersome. The VRBO has all the basics you need for your stay. I'd say it is priced accordingly.
Napoli itself was a trip. At times, felt more like a market in Istanbul or Marrakesh - narrow streets, old buildings, many pedestrians, litter and graffiti everywhere. Very unlike Rome.
While it looked rough, it was actually quite safe. We were never approached or hassled even when walking down what appeared to be dark, nasty alleys. I would never put ourselves in the same position in a US city (unless well armed). But then again, we wouldn't find ourselves exploring those areas.
We did a day trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Took about 45-50 minutes each way by local train. Also walked down to the Marina and took a ferry to Capri. Capri is a different world compared to Naples - extreme opposites - "High End"
We made sure we tested some of the world renown pizzerias. While prepared differently, all tasted fantastic. We were not disapointed.
We spent 3 nights in Naples which suited us quite well.

This apartment has a good location close to the central train station and can act as a launchpad for discovering Napoli and the surrounding area. It is spacious in areas, bedrooms and living/dining rooms, but tight in the bathroom and kitchen. The place was clean and tidy for our arrival. The only concerns are related to the building itself NOT the apartment. Upon entering from the street we felt major reservations because the lobby was filthy, untidy, and overall in bad condition. The 6 floors are served by a tiny rickety elevator (my wife chose to walk up and down the 5 floors). The building has many short term residences and there is a fair amount of building noises from people talking in the stairwell, slamming doors and from the rooftop patio, which you can only access if you stay with a separate B&B that occupies a few floors. There seemed to be a lot of construction work going on which was very loud during the day. Inside the apartment it is “good”, outside “iffy”.

I wanted a refund from the host because I didn’t spent first night I got personal ingury he said deal with Vrbo I would not recommend to anybody to stay there and Vrbo customer service is bad I ask for a refund for one night they didn’t help me. please be aware of this host. We had an injury that stopped us from travelling and this host did not care nor refund the one night. The host lied to us stating contact Vrbo. These people have no compassion and are money hungry. Shame on them. We are tourists and this is not acceptable. We had a health issue and they did not care. So disappointed. If we just did not want to stay is o e thing, but we could not travel. Do not stay here.

Very clean, tho’ had to wait a bit for it to be done, so could not check in at 2pm. Felt very spacious. Beds quite firm. Sconces on either side of larger bed did not work. Quiet due to not facing the street, but who needs a view when the inside looks so nice? Did not notice a microwave, but there was a toaster oven. AC was wonderful, as it was unusually warm for October. I agree w/ other reviewers who said the streets were somewhat sketchy: would not go out alone at night. However, location so near to Garbaldi train station & sidewalk eateries was great. Wish I’d known what one reviewer wrote about the rooftop patio ~ the 6th floor is a B&B, so we were hesitant to go up there, thinking it was private for their guests only. The lift is very small, a tight squeeze for two tall people, each w/ a medium suitcase & backpack. But overall we enjoyed our stay, a quiet, convenient location to many of Naples’ highlights & very reasonably priced.

We stayed with 4 young kids for a few nights. The apartment was great, it was several floors up but we had no problem with luggage given the lift. Host was easy to communicate with, very responsive and accommodating. The location I have mixed feelings on. We picked the area as it was near the train station, wanted base to make it easy to get to other areas, as well as walking with our luggage and the kids. For that it was great. We had great pizza at a couple of nearby places. Check in and check out were easy.
Sharing my thoughts on the area though as they differs a bit from other reviews. This is on location only, NOT the apartment or the host. It was difficult to walk any distance at all without stepping on trash, and any grassy areas completely covered with litter. We didn’t have much luck finding a market nearby that had what we’d consider basics (ex: diapers, milk for the baby). We didn’t notice as much police presence as another reviewer mentioned. Some recent traveler reviews of other nearby restaurants that we were looking at visiting mentioned having been robbed in eve, made me hesitant to go out and just walk with the kids in the eve.
I’d stay again as the host and apt are great. Just would’ve planned differently. I wouldn’t have left as much down time in our vacation plans to explore nearby, given all that there is to see and do in the region.

We decided to stay by the train station because we had some big bags and no car. This place is a hidden gem, not only because it is large and nice, but also because there is a rooftop patio directly above. The patio is part of a hotel/club but they allow residents up there and were very nice to me. Great view and good food there. Naples can be a bit disconcerting after dark but having this in the building was very good. Just make sure to ask at the front desk on the 6th floor first if it is ok to eat there as it is subject to how crowded they are.

We had a lovely time! We landed in Rome and took the train to Naples. We chose this apartment for the proximity to the Napoli Centrale train station, and after a very long day of travel appreciated the convenience of a short walk to the apartment from the train station. We got in rather late on our first night and our host was so accommodating even for our late arrival. We did some sight-seeing around Naples and the apartment was within easy walking distance. We also took the train to Pompeii and appreciated how close to the train station we was for accessing nearby sights to see.

It is close to Garibaldi Station, and like most major cities around the world it is a great location and has a few rough edges as a location for trains and metro. The property itself is surprisingly quiet, spacious, immaculately clean and had good amenities.
The host communicated well and I would recommend to friends as a location if asked.
We enjoyed a lot from this lovely apartment.

Host was very kind and allowed us to check-in after mid-night after a red eye flight. Apartment was clean, warm in the chilly weather, and had sufficient towels, blankets and amenities.

This was a great place to stay. Being right next to the train station, it was easy to get to the different sights we wanted to see. The apartment had everything we needed, it was a great place to crash in the evenings. The neighborhood looked a little rough sometimes, but it was always patrolled by police and we always felt safe.

This apartment is great for a couple, 3 good friends, or parents + 2 children. All appeared exactly as shown in the pictures, and everything was in good working condition. The apartment is located on the 5th floor, served by an elevator, and NOT on the street side of the building, guaranteeing a quiet, restful apartment. Although the neighborhood isn’t the most beautiful, this is more than compensated for by its location, close to the train station, the Circumvesuvania, Linea 1, Linea 2 and many good bus lines. All this allows the visitor easy access to all the great things Napoli and the Bay of Napoli have to offer. The center of the old town is a 15-20 minute walk. Although the neighborhood may appear a bit seedy, we never once felt in danger, day or night.

Great stay
The place was clean and spacious. They were waiting for us when we got there, which I felt bad about because we were delayed. The location was conveniently near the train station. Although neighborhood was a little schetchy. I wish we were able to take advantage of the rooftop bar. It was pretty, but at the time, they were having a heatwave so it was too hot to be up on the roof.

Appartement spacieux, propre et bien équipé
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire de l’appartement qui s’est toujours montré très serviable. L’appartement est bien agencé, calme et bien équipé. Il y a possibilité de profiter de la terrasse de l’hôtel situé à l’étage supérieur. La vue y est magnifique ! L’appartement est situé tout près de la gare donc le quartier est animé et sale mais l’emplacement est parfait pour les transports.

Nice apartment, very clean and tidy, friendly manager, not the best area but not many parts in Naples are. Excellent proximity to train station and restaurants. Would recommend if you want to come to Naples.

Zentral am Hauptbahnhof gelegene, großzügige Altbauwohnung
Die Wohnung befindet sich im 5.Stock (Lift) eines Altbaus an einer lebhaften Straße fußläufig zum Bahnhof. Da die Fenster zum Innenhof liegen, ist es ruhig. Sehr angenehm ist das darüberliegende Restaurant mit toller Dachterrasse.
Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Wohnung.

A very clean apartment near central train station of Naples
The apartment was clean and spacious with a nice area for eating as a family. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but after the first day we didn’t feel like we were in any danger walking around. Elizaveta was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had. The apartment building was quite loud, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Spacieux et propre, facile d'accès à piazza de Garibaldi
Bel appartement pour 4 pour notre court sejour sur Naples, très bien situé pour une arrivée tardive (plus de métro après 21h30), le bus de l'aeroport faisant un stop à Garibaldi et récupération des clés dans un hotel proche. Bon point de départ pour le centre historique et la via Tribunali, et accès à la gare pour Herculanum, le Vésuve et la côte amalfitaine.
La très bonne surprise et la présence d'un petit hôtel dans l'immeuble possédant une magnifique terrasse avec un bar auquel nous avons pu accéder même tardivement (Après fermeture de 23h) car les propriétaires sympatiques vivent sur place : un très très beau rooftop non connu avec vu sur Naples et le Vésuve ! Ils font à manger (fait maison) mais uniquement pour les résidents de leurs hotels, logique.

Elizavita and her husband we’re very responsive and helpful. The apartment is quite spacious and everything was very clean. Our hosts provided bottled water and snacks. The apartment building has a lovely rooftop deck area with a bar. Very nice for summer stays. May need to take a taxi if going to port, but other sites are within walking distance. We would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Naples .

On the 5 floor with an open, airy livingroom with small kitchen. Very clean place with everything you could need. Host was waiting on the street and ushered us in. He made sure we were settled and answered all our question.
One floor below the rooftop bar ans restaurant. OMG! Views for days!! The owner and manager were warm and friendly.
I will remember warmly and recommend whole heartedly this location whenever I can.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, well located apartment
With one day to see the Herculaneum ruins and Mount Vesuvius at the end of our Italian holiday, this apartment was in the perfect location, a quick walk to Napoli's Central Station. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness and slept very well. Dai's friendly welcome was appreciated after a long train ride across the country. The apartment is on the fifth floor, away from the hustle and bustle of the street below, with a lift in the building.
