About this cottage rental
Just 21 miles from historic Charleston, Kiawah Island is nestled in semi-tropical wilderness, picturesque marshes with ten miles of wide, unspoiled, golden beaches. Our lovely cottage is conveniently located in West Beach with only a 5-7 minute walk to the ocean and private pool. Cougar Point Golf Course is right across the street where you can watch the players on the 18th green from the adirondack chairs or enjoy a meal in the brand new Clubhouse. Tennis courts, are also nearby at the award winning Roy Barth Tennis center. Enjoy a leisurely bike ride over the marsh to the many shops and restaurants at Freshfields marketplace. Watch the wildlife while lounging on our deck above the lagoon watching beautiful sunrises and gazing at the ocean in the distance. Our guest book in the living room is filled with enthusiastic accolades from our valued guests, many of whom return each year. We invite you to make our Kiawah home your vacation home as well.

Kiawah is our all time favorite. Been going over 30 years and we’ve stayed all over the island. This location was so convenient to everything we love to do. Would definitely rent again!

Great place to stay. Very relaxing. The screen porch was our favorite place at the cottage. Sandy was a great host. The fact that she allowed pets was a big plus for us as we travel with 2 dogs. She was easy to reach and very responsive. I highly recommend this property as it is ideally located, short walk to the beach, the wrap around upper deck, a wonderful place.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Loved seeing all the different wildlife. We could hear an alligator bellowing in the pond. We also saw deer, coyotes and all types of herons, egrets, etc.. Being able to bring our fur babies along is such a blessing. Very grateful for that! The only thing I would recommend would be for deeper cleaning needed.
