We've been visiting the Islander for over ten years. The condos are very comfortable and accommodating with some update. Great for Family gatherings. But the beach is really the best! We had the clearest water ever and nice breezy days. Beach chairs and discounts offers for other activities are a great bonus. Great Time

Everything was wonderful! Only a couple dislikes. The washer quit working, the bathtubs would fill with water when taking a shower and no dvd player in the unit for movies and we had to request an iron.

We have stayed at the Islander several times, first time in this particular condo. Loved it! Very clean, nicely decorated, will definitely be booking this room again. Loved the fact it was on the second floor, close to the stairs (get those steps in!).

Other than that our stay was nice it’s close to beach access, appliances are very old. Could use a new toaster. I didn’t expect any of these things to be here but overall I would consider staying Again.

Great Property
This condo was as advertised. We loved it! Clean and mostly updated. Beds were comfortable. Good view of the beach from the big porch.
Being near the end of the building and on the floor above the underground parking garage, it was so easy to just walk down one flight of stairs and hit the wooden walkway to the beach. It was such a nice perk to have use of an umbrella and two chairs as part of our rental.
Loved it and already booked it for next year!

This condo was the perfect place for my family to stay. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. It was quite and beautifully decorated. We did a lot of hopping between the pool and beach. This condo was the perfect place for my family to stay. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. It was quite and beautifully decorated. Exceeded Expectations

Absolutely wonderful experience!!
This property was beautiful, very clean and well stocked with necessities, was close to everything but yet there was a sense of privacy that you got from the area as well, which was exactly what we were looking for. Communication for reservations and any questions was very prompt, friendly and helpful. It was a much needed vacation for our family in a wonderful location and property. We definitely plan to be back! Love this property!

My husband and I met my sister and brother-in-law here for a 5 night stay.
It was quiet, not crowded, close to our favorite restaurants. The pics on line need to be upgraded! So much brighter and nicer!

We brought our mothers on this trip and they slept well, were comfortable and really enjoyed the view from our condo. The 4 of us had plenty of room really enjoyed the great decor and the furniture was comfortable. We did have maintenance come to tighten the table as it wobbled and they showed up quickly. We did frequently trip stepping out on balcony but there is nothing that can be done for that. We would definitely recommend this unit. We would recommend the property owners do something about the slippery steps getting into the pool several people including myself slipped. As a result I have missed work and will probably need a surgery to fix my knee.

When we arrived at the property we were pleasantly surprised! It's a great location and the interior had been upgraded from what you see in the listing. The property was clean and spacious. Anything you could possibly need was provided (except for maybe a pizza pan). We will definitely be staying here again! It made our vacation experience great!

Beautiful property & view
The only reason I rated the accuracy of the online listing as only 3 stars is because it's actually much better than the photos in VRBO. They have updated it throughout and it has a bright beachy vibe. Everything worked well except the DVD player. We only tried to use it because our little one was feeling sick one day and we had to stay in. The beaches are gorgeous with soft white sand. Beautiful close up view of the beach from the balcony. The chair & umbrella service was really nice to have included too. Short drive to all the entertainment on Okaloosa Island. The only thing that would've been an improvement was to be able to have covered parking for the car when it's really hot, but that is reserved for owners only. Overall we loved it and would definitely stay here again.

Property is a typical large seven story condominium complex with lots of people flooding the beach and pool each day. The first unit we stayed in was very well decorated and presented well however within 24 hours the air-conditioning system had broken down and so we were moved to another unit. Second unit also was very good inside. As for the property quite a bit of construction being done and so intermittent elevator issues and general construction going on each day. Fitness center closed. Beach is amazing and the water is warm and very nice. One thing to note that if you depending on the chairs that they have for you on the beach you need to procure one early in the morning as they run out of them and you really have no option but to go buy a chair or lay on a towel.

Awesome Beach Condo!
Everything was great and had no issues at all. Check in and out was super easy. The condo was great and I always read reviews before booking on VRBO and everything was spot on as described. We love being on the balcony watching the waves and the kids loved the beach and pool. We really enjoyed the free beach chairs. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here in the condo 2002.
