Situated in Okaloosa Island, this attractive condo for $342 per night is a great choice for your next break. Hello and welcome to our colorful condo! Our cleaning crew is readily doing many of the CDC guidelines to ensure extra levels of cleanliness. Please bring your own anti-bacterial cleaning supplies, wipes, masks for your own personal cleanliness check if preferred. Please socially distance and wear masks when necessary while vacationing . Tks! In the meantime..... Our peaceful and inviting nautical condominium is perfect for an amazing bay and beach vacation. With a great location on the surreal Emerald Coast, a 700 foot Lazy River, you are sure to come back year after year. This unit is a ground floor unit/lanai where guests can sun or step outside the gate into the lazy river with a gorgeous bay side backdrop. The waterfall pool, gradual entry pool and two large hot tubs provide a variety of activities for water lovers. The patio/sunning decks in this water area provide both shade and sun for people of all ages. Large lounge chairs, tables & chairs, umbrellas are provided for your leisurely days spent by the lazy river. Grills w/ tables are provided in the green areas behind the lazy river. There is also a walkway for strolling alongside the bay and marina. Free beach service is provided when you go to the ocean. A toddler pool, hot tub, and Destin West's largest pool and exercise facility are the additional amenities found on the beach side. You can easily access the beach side by walking the sky bridge from bay to beach, or you can drive to the round-about in front of Destin West Beach Side, unload your family and beach equipment, park your car in the shaded parking deck and walk from there to the beach. LOCATION: Our condominium is centrally located between Destin and Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island. We are five miles from Destin and one mile from Fort Walton Beach. You are in the middle of two of the best vacation cities in America. Not only do you have four miles of undeveloped land on one side (free of mass crowds of people), but on the other side you have access to the Gulfarium, beach side restaurants and shops, fishing, water-sports, and more. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The location to the lazy river and pool area was the best! Having the beach wagon available was a huge plus! We don't go to the beach enough to have something like that but it was needed to carry all of our stuff to the beach. Having the walk over to the other side of the street was great! We were also able to walk to restaurants on the beach, which was a huge plus! I don't love the traffic of this area, but once you are at Destin West, you don't even have to deal with traffic! We would stay here again.

I was one of the original rental agents at this resort. It's grown up since I was there 15 years ago but hasn't lost its charm. The unit itself is very comfortable, well-appointed, and has a great view. The master bed is high which is great for tall people like me! I love the lanai level and easy access. We had one minor issue on the first day of our stay which was fixed quickly. The owners are responsive and helpful. Book this condo!

This unit is clean and well taken care of, perfect location. Super quick easy access to the lazy river and the beach. Very quiet and calm. We met some great people and made new friends. I was on a girls trip this time but look forward to coming back and bringing the grandkids.

This unit was perfect for our family of 5! A private bedroom and bath for my wife and I, bunk beds for my girls and the sofa bed for my son! Also has a 2nd full bathroom! The property manager Meredith is unbelievable! Provided us with so much valuable information and made the entire trip great for us. We had one small issue and she had the maintenance team there within minutes! 5 stars all the way!

We had a great vacation at the property! The best part is the location next to the large pool area and lazy river, very convenient with kids. It is a pretty easy walk to the beachside but does require some effort. The condo was clean, had lots of amenities, and just as expected from pictures. Note the bunk room does not have a door, which we knew. Adding a gas grill outside would improve this whole experience even more. The included wagon was nice. Definitely recommend staying here.

The pictures accurately reflect the condo and it was super clean. The condo is well equipped with all supplies needed. The lazy river, pools and workout room were all well maintained. We loved the location- easily accessible to the beach, restaurants, etc. Also, very pleased with the property manager, who was great about responding to any inquiries.

My boyfriend and I came down to Destin for my 30th birthday. We were thrilled with the accommodations and everything this VRBO had to offer! The condo is very clean and exceeded our expectations. We loved the atmosphere, the lazy river, and the quick walk to an absolutely gorgeous beach! Weāve never seen a more beautiful beach and such clear water! Our favorite part was the complementary beach umbrella and two beach chairs. We would definitely come back again! Meredith was extremely helpful and Informative. She gave us many tips, and the entire process went very smoothly. You wonāt be sorry if you book this VRBO!

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this property. In fact, we have booked two years in a row. The best feature is the easy access to the lazy river, which kept my two boys ages 9 and 13 occupied all day. Thereās also easy access to the beach with the two beach chairs included with the property. The inside is comfortable and has everything that we needā¦.I always sleep great. We also love all of the attractions nearby.

Loved every minute of it! The pool is awesome and the short walk to the beach is well worth it! Very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that I wish we had is a gas grill on the patio like the other first floor units had. My family and I love to grill and that would have been the icing on the cake if we had one right on the patio. Itās the only reason I would look for a different first floor unit. Other than that we couldnāt ask for a better trip, experience, and place to stay.

The condo was exactly as described and pictures are current of how the condo looks. We were pleasantly impressed as we walked through the condo door upon our arrival.
There is plenty to do on the complex if you to just spend a day relaxing. The lazy river, hot tubs and pool are just steps away from the condo's patio. The beach is just a short walk away and the included beach setup is a nice perk.
Meredith and Bill were excellent host! They were very attentive to our needs and was quick to reply.
Highly recommend and will definelty be rebooking this condo!

We had a great stay at Pelican L01. We love the Lanai rooms with the access to Lazy River. The condo is very well equipped with all the cooking utensils and pots and pans you would need. Very nice updated appliances and the mattress on the King bed is very nice. This condo is perfect for a couple or small family. The seasonal Okaloosa Island Fireworks can be seen from the master balcony, no need to go across the street.

We have been coming to Destin west since 2018 but this was our first time staying at this unit. This is hands down our favorite unit and now will book only this unit moving forward. Everything was perfect and we are already planning out next visit. If I could suggest one thing it would be to add a door to the bunk bed room. But still great and highly recommend choosing this unit.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable beds with dark curtains just in case you want to sleep late, also very quiet. The kitchen has plenty of utensils for cooking and eating. Very few steps to the pools and probably a 5 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed the boogie boards and the complimentary chairs at the not crowded beach. A lot of good restaurants close by. All around a wonderful family experience!

This was our second time to stay at this condo and we love it. Easy access to pool and lazy river area, everything you could possibly need in the condo, and a great stay overall. Owners were quick to communicate and handle a small issue with the dehumidifier. We love Okaloosa and hope to return again to this condo. next summer.

Literally has everything we needed and the best part was the location of the condo being so close to the pool and the location in Ft. Walton /Destin. We purposely picked this condo having little kids and we made the right decision because we knew would spend most of our time at pool. The couple times we did go to the beach the walk over to the beach was easy since thereās the walkway over 98 and having the wagon. Meredith answered all my questions quickly and was super helpful. The master bed was very comfortable which is always a plus when staying somewhere for a week. Having a washer and dryer right there in the condo was useful too, another plus. We will definitely be back!

The condo was great, really clean, kitchen well equipped with everything you might possibly need during your stay. We enjoyed the patio and the fact that the pools were just a few steps away, especially with the weather we got. We visited end of May and unfortunately it rained a lot during the week we stayed down there. We were able to hit the pool in between rain showers. Our little one loved the heated pool - it was smaller, the size of maybe two hot tubs but perfect for chilly days or nights.
The unit comes with beach service which was very much appreciated! We got two sunny days perfect for a beach day, and having that beach umbrella was a godsent. I'd say the only downside is that the beach is a bit of a hike, don't get me wrong, it's not that bad but it does take approx 10 mins with the elevator rides, walking over the bridge etc. The host provided a beach wagon and some beach towels which we found really helpful. Meredith was very friendly, communicative and accommodating throughout the whole process of booking and our stay. Thanks for having us, we will be back!!
