About this apartment rental
Charming and bright 2-room apartment in the quiet residential area of Nymphenburg in the west of Munich, near the castle of the same name. The apartment is on the first floor with additional access in the extension of the detached house and is integrated into the flowers and greenery of the surrounding gardens. Both bedrooms have 2 single beds (one in the yellow room with pull-out drawer m. Mattress below for 5. Person) and own kitchenette. They share the small one. Shower room, please read the prices in the price information. Within 3 minutes walk: grocery stores, pharmacy, bars and tram and bus stations that lead to the underground and S-Bahn. In 5 minutes - 10 minutes Trail past the Nymphenburg Palace, other shops, as well as various local gardens and beer gardens (especially Hirschgarten, the oldest beer garden in Munich, with leisure options like table tennis, etc., and a number of offers for young people). After about 10 minutes Modern youth hostel with cheap organic dinner, sitting around the fire and playing music, even for non-residents. All highways and the city center can be reached in 10 to 30 minutes. Smoking is not allowed, bring pets by appointment.

(with search for a parking space) The best ice cream parlor in Munich; in 15 minutes (Car) 3 beautiful small lakes accessible on the outskirts

This apartment was the perfect spot for my travel group—two separate rooms with a shared bathroom. Each room was equipped with kitchen equipment and table, though only one had a sink in the room. The location was easy to find and parking was easy as well. The apartment is very convenient for public transportation as well. Walking distance to several restaurants, cafe/bakeries, and Nymphenburg Palace.

The host Susanne is lovely and welcoming with great communication. The property is tidy inside, however is quite a lot more dated than the listing pictures and quiet basic. It's also better suited to groups of traveling friends rather than families. It's location is nice, and quiet. I would say satisfactory for the price.

First the good stuff, it's a nice location, in a quiet neighborhood, grocery store right around the corner with easy access to public transport right near Nympemburg castle. This apartment is dated but in working order, the kitchen area is well stocked and rooms are clean.
However the bathroom is bad. The shower is very small and the toilet is an older German-style toilet with a "poop deck" that no matter how much you try to clean has a bad odor. I gagged when cleaning it. There was an "air freshener" that made the whole place smell like a port-o-potty.
The Wifi for the property also does not work. I tried to contact the owner before and after arriving but she claimed that "atmospheric pressure" was the cause of it being unreliable. She also claimed that she described the wireless as unreliable in the listing which is not true. There are also no bug screens on the windows, which seems to be the norm, so you get a lot of mosquitos. Since there is no A/C you don't have a choice.
The best description would be it feels like going to a youth hostel. If they updated the toilet and fixed the Wifi it would make the place a lot better. These are both reasonably affordable corrections that would be a big difference.
