You will enjoy the convenient South end location while still offering a unique cottage setting! There is a furnished screened porch on the front of the home which offers space to relax and enjoy the beautiful island weather. Inside on the ground level, you will find a living area with a flat-screen TV, a dining area with a table seating 4, along with a nicely updated kitchen, full bath, and washer/dryer. The first-floor bedroom has a Queen bed, double sleeper sofa, and a flat-screen TV. The large fenced backyard includes an enclosed outdoor shower, furnished deck, and a gas grill for cookouts. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed which offers a TV and one with 2 Twins. There is also a small seating area with an additional TV. There is access to the relaxing, uncovered sun deck as well. Here you can enjoy the sunshine and the Tybee air! Relax and unwind and enjoy the cool breezes and warm sunshine. First impression was our delight in the fresh and clean appearance of the home. We loved it. The front screened in room was the evening delight. The fenced in yard gave our family pet the freedom of safe play. The location was within waking distance of anything you wanted to do yet the actual neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet.. The home exceeded our expections by far.

This place was an absolute delight!!!! From the amazing back porch area with comfy chairs, along with a fenced in backyard to the upstairs deck/ porch to lay in the sun or the front porch, the living space at this house is incredible!! And when we were ready to leave the house, we LOVED the location! Less than a mile walk o the beach or restaurants for dinner. The car sat in the driveway/ grass area for a good portion of our visit because so much was within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our time in the house. The screened porch was fantastic especially during the rainy nights! It was so close to the beach , able to bike or walk within minutes. Really able to enjoy the island and super easy to get into Savannah. We had a great time and the rental company was very communicative !

We had no issues with renting. Rental company called prior to our stay to confirm we recieved the information we had been sent; very friendly customer service. Check in and check out was easy and we absolutely loved our stay!

Great stay at Sister in the Sand! Easy self check in. 3 great areas of cottage to enjoy the beach weather. Screened porch with table for eating. Enjoyed morning coffee out there. 2nd floor sun deck with lounge chairs. Fenced backyard with patio, table and grill. So close to beach and activities. Great area to ride your bike. The best part was the outdoor shower. No tracking in sand from the beach. Cottage even has a wagon for you to use to bring all your things to the beach. A nice easy beach getaway!!

Pros: Cute house in a quiet neighborhood, great screened porch and backyard. Cons: We do NOT recommend staying here in the summer as the AC doesn't work correctly, and overall we did not have a great experience. When we checked in we were told that the dishwasher was broken and wouldn't be fixed during our stay. When we arrived at the house, we noticed that it was hot and that there were "how-to" instructions for the AC, as people have obviously had previous issues with it. It cooled down enough to deal with it the first two days, but by our last evening it was 85 degrees upstairs where there are 2 bedrooms and our small kids were staying. Tybee Vacation Rentals offered to send an HVAC tech, but there's nothing wrong with the AC unit other than the fact that it's undersized for the house/GA heat. We ended up leaving a night early.

We notified after hrs arrival, packet was to be left for pick up. No packet. After an hour of phone tag and different codes, finally able to get in. Had to return to office the following morning for new code. $25.00 gift card for local restaurant given. Gift card was appreciated, but meant we had to visit restaurant to use. Second issue was the number of emails and texts we received regarding our check out process the day before checkout. Seemed like an intrusion on our stay. House has little amenities as compared to airnb places. Wished we would have stayed in a hotel instead. Less worries.

Had a wonderful vacation in Tybee this week. Very relaxing. We enjoyed Sisters in the Sand and used everything this charming little house had to offer. Our favorite is the screened in porch. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower. We had to call for maintenance several times but Tybee Vacation Rentals was very prompt with the service. Everyone was very courteous. We plan on coming back to Tybee again next year and hope to stay a little longer.

This was our first trip back to the Beach Bum Parade in many years and it was fabulous!!! Sisters in the Sand was perfect for our group...the upstairs was the teenagers hang and I loved my master suite. My favorite places in the house was the screened porch and the outdoor shower!!!!! We will definitely be back!!

Tybee is always a wonderful place to visit! We have been coming to the island for 10 years and love staying in different properties. This cottage had a great front screened in porch where we spent most of the time. The living area was very small and did not accommodate our family of five. Of all the places we have stayed this was the most ill equipped in terms of kitchen items. For example, there wasn't a cookie sheet in the kitchen or other basic cooking items. As far as Tybee Vacation Rentals, they were uber professional like always! Love the new app and their superb customer service.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at the place where we got married, Tybee. We loved the Sisters in the Sand the most out of the three previous cottages we have rented through Tybee vacation rentals. It had everything we needed, especially that big back yard that allowed our two dogs enough space to enjoy themselves. The service was also exceptional!

We had a great stay! My four year old says he misses Sisters in the Sand. We love Tybee! This was our second time using TVR and they are great. The house was good for our family of four. The back yard was perfect (apart from the mozzies) we loved the outdoor shower! The beds were comfortable and the house was clean.

We had a great trip and enjoyed our stay at Sisters in the Sand. Despite tropical storm Colin making our first day rainy, the kids were able to keep entertained with the board games they found in a cabinet. The screened-in front porch was our favorite place to sit back and enjoy popsicles. The walk to the beach was easy. Our only suggestion would be to replace the dryer. It works, but is rusty and squeals when running. We would definitely stay again!

We had seven girls on this trip. We were worried about the one bathroom, but it was totally fine! We loved the shower outside, that made a huge difference. It had everything we needed in a cute little space! We would certainly rent again. Also a great walking location to restaurants and bars.

We loved our stay. Wish there were a bathroom up stairs, but it was still a nice house. We loved hanging out on the deck and screened porch. We also loved that the house is close enough to walk to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay again.
