Cute and clean place within walking distance to lots of restaurant!

The studio is darling. It is small but has everything you’ll need to be comfortable. Attention to detail was excellent. Very clean. While I felt safe in the neighborhood, the smell of the neighbors smoking weed was the only thing I did not care for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casita. It was everything we could have wanted and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring San Diego and we felt safe there. It was our first time in SD and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit. The bed was comfortable and even the toilet roll was the softest ever! The parking was great, right next to the door to carry our bags in. We loved saying hello to the hosts dog too. Very clean and tidy. Thank you Jim & Lynne.

The property was even better than expected. It was only a 10 minute walking distance to a coffee shop for breakfast and lots of other restaurants. The casita was so clean and smelled so fresh. It was nice to know that the property owners actually lived on site and it wasn’t just someone who owned it off site so you know they take pride in it. Jim and Lynne were so nice and accommodating. A lovely shared backyard that was wonderful to relax in with our kiddo while the other parent got to nap! We would definitely love to stay here again if we come back to San Diego. Super close to everything, we only spent $15 on gas for our 4-day trip. Bed was super comfortable and futon was also surprisingly comfortable.

We walked in the door and immediately fell in love with this Casita. So charming! This Casita had everything you could possibly need. Plus it was very well stocked with supplies. Very comfortable and clean! The neighborhood was so quiet! You could walk 2-3 blocks to Park Boulevard which is like a main street with restaurants, coffee shops and places to have a nice glass of wine! We felt very safe walking around their neighborhood. Outside your back door is a nice sitting area to relax and also a waterfall with a bench to sit at...so calm and peaceful. Big plus is the parking spot right outside your door. Mission Beach is 15 minutes away driving time and beach parking is free! The hosts, Jim and Lynne, were absolutely wonderful! And you couldn't help but love their dog Hattie! Couldn't ask for a nicer place. We will definitely be back! Just wish we had found this Casita many years ago!

Great location! Walking distance to restaurants. Owners are were really nice, even got visits from their dog Hattie, very sweet. The casita was VERY clean and very well furnished, really everything you would need without having to ask. Perfect getaway spot for a couple. Convenient parking away from the owners so you're not bothering anyone. I really can't say enough good things about this property. Just a really great experience!

This Casita is certainly a home … a true home with miraculous hosts who showed me the true meaning of hospitality. Excellent place to stay .... fantastic property .... very peaceful surroundings .... beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean .... warm hospitality .... friendly conversations.... delightful Casita.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be recommending this property to others. Jim & Lynne were very gracious in welcoming me into their beautiful Casita.
Thank you, truly, Thank you Lynne + Jim & Hattie

The Casita is very nice and we really enjoyed our stay!

It's a studio with access to a beautiful court yard.
The studio is very bright and pleasant. It is decent size for two people, we have three, our son has to sleep on a foldable foam on the floor. The closet has The container store (?) organizer, makes it very usable. A nice touch. The bathroom is very small, especially lack of legroom at the toilet place. The kitchenette is very nice, has a small dishwasher, which is very useful. The air conditioner is very loud, we have to shut it or turn to low fan when we go to sleep. The kitchen and bathroom has everything you need, very thoughtfully stocked with all kinds of supplies. I enjoyed to sit by the chair next to the studio door in the court yard to have my morning coffee.
The owner lives in the front. They are a very nice couple with a friendly dog. Very easy to communicate with them. We did barbecue once during our three night stay. The owner helped with instructions and cleaning up (thank you!).
The location is good. It's in a quite and safe neighborhood yet not far from most of the attractions in San Diego. One night we took a walk outside and enjoyed night view from the cliff at the end of the alley.
There is a laundromat not far from the place that opens late in the night.
Overall:
Definitely will recommend this place. The parking space is a huge plus.

This Casita was perfect for me. Everything I needed. My son lives nearby, so location was perfect. I felt comfortable, safe, and loved the owner's garden. Pleasant folks I would recommend to others. You could walk to Adams Av where there are restaurants and cafes. We had activities in the city where things were short distances. Parking for 2 cars, so when family picked me up, they could park easily. That's a big deal in SanDiego.

This is a very comfortable little house for two people and the hosts are friendly and responsive. We would return!

We made a great choice staying in the Casita Studio rental instead of a generic box hotel. The property was spotless, quiet, and private, with very convenient on-site parking. The University Heights neighborhood is walkable and has nice food options, and it's a great base from which to drive to the San Diego attractions. Jim and Lynne were great hosts - it's obvious that they really care about their property and their renters (be sure to enjoy the beautiful garden).

We were familiar with the location from a previous stay but the ability to park right next to your door was just so convenient as parking in the area can sometimes be challenging. This area is very central and makes seeing the cities attractions effortless. The unit itself was great. Lots of little touches. So well thought out so you don't need to run out for basic supplies as soon as you arrive. Groceries are close by too as well as lots of restaurants in walking distance. Nice safe quiet part of town. Highly recommend.

We loved staying in this beautiful, spotlessly clean and well equipped casita. The hosts Jim and Lynne were fantastic. We stayed 3 months and we had everything that we needed. Beautiful garden and very quiet and safe area. A laundry service just up the street was great for laundry. Hattie the dog was fun. Nice to be able to enjoy her. I would give this property and the hosts 10 stars.

My husband and I really enjoyed this Casa. It was perfect for us. It was very comfortable, super clean, really well stocked, and a great location. We had everything we needed, plus. I was also very impressed with the quality of everything, including the kitchen cookware, utensils, gadgets, etc. You don’t see this kind of quality at a lot of rentals. We loved being able to walk a couple blocks to great restaurants and coffee shops, and it was only a short drive to major San Diego attractions. We loved it! Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a short work trip. Clean and comfortable. Communication and check-in were very easy, hosts are organized and clearly experienced. Perfect for my needs, and also very well appointed with tv and kitchen needs if you had more time to enjoy the property.

Do not hesitate to book this property! This fantastic casita is in a great location. We were close to freeways that took us to our granddaughter in North County yet close to downtown San Diego where we enjoyed a variety of great restaurants. We were within walking distance to a couple of really great breakfast places. Best of all, this casita was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need and more. When we return to San Diego, we will definitely book again. This property will not disappoint!

So excited to stay in this darling Casita that has been completely remodeled and in the best location of San Diego. My Mom felt right at home and we truly enjoyed all the conveniences of home.My mom is 88 and found everything she needed. The extra stainless steel bar in bathroom worked fantastic for her! Thank you so much!

What can I say, but this was one of our best vacations ever. The directions were clear and precise, making the arrival as easy as possible. We found the casita comfortable and well-appointed and easily settled in, and in the morning, my wife and daughter were delighted to meet a wonderfully friendly dog.
The location of the casita made for easily going about our site-seeing and visits to various beaches in the area.
I could go on, raving about this lovely rental, but suffice it to say that it had the comforts of home in a wonderful vacation spot.

This is probably going to be our most favorite go-to place to stay in San Diego now!! For the $, comfort, location, huge tv, and beautiful indoors/outdoors space! Also , Jim and Lynne’s place was just perfect for our little handicapped special needs guy. He just loved the open layout and was able to maneuver around inside and outside easily! Soooooo very very thankful to Lynne and Jim for offering their remarkable place … and at a $ we can afford. Plus they were soooooo kind and helpful…. We sure felt right at home! Also, Jim and Lynn have provided everything u could possibly need in their gorgeous Southwestern style casita… and then they have decorated it just soooooo beautifully!! Can’t wait to book again soon and stay longer!! Thanks again Lynne and Jim for offering ur immaculate place and for such a lovely lovely experience ❤️

Quiet Casita
The Casita was exactly what we needed. A quiet place to stay while we were visiting the sites in San Diego. The Casita location is a easy drive to Balboa park and downtown. Outside the Casita is a great walking neighborhood with close restaurants.
