Great location, quiet, beautiful
Heating was a bit hard to control and the shower did not really get hot

Nice cottage. Very rustic. Nothing extraordinary. View is nice.
The bed is very small and extremely uncomfortable.

We loved the cabin/cottage, and the breakfast was great.
The only downside for us was the access road was very rough lava gravel--made us wish we had 4-wheel drive.
And it was several miles from Stykkishholmur.

Quaint and comfortable

cute cottages
tv was positioned in a way that you could only watch sitting on chairs and not on the couch or beds

Unique cottage, well equipped for an overnight stay. Great place to tour the peninsula from, with a usefulkitchen, comfortable lodgings, and quiet and private location.

The cottage was very spacious, cute and clean. It had an amazing view for the sunset and eventually northern lights (we weren't lucky). Really rustic decoration, it made us feel at home. The receptionist was very prestative and kind.
We arrived there at night and the road didn't had any lights so we missed the road leading to the hotel. I think it should had some light and better signalling. Also the kitchen had only frying pans, it would be more useful to have regular pans.

This is the best place we stayed at in Iceland. We rented one of the houses and it was super cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was also very good. Everything seems to be fairly new, or is at least kept in a very good condition. It's in a great location, if you want to explore Snæfellsnes. I can highly recommend staying here.
Everything was perfect.

The view was spectacular. The cottage was close to where we needed to be to catch a ferry the next day.
The cottage was very small. The beds were uncomfortable.

The location was amazing and the cottages were cute and functional. We had dinner and breakfast there too and ate very well. Beautiful scenery
The shower drains slowly but once we realized that, it was easy to adapt.

Cute cottage - lovely location. Great having a kitchenette. Good deck to stand on to see the Northern Lights.
The bathroom window has no covering and we were below a carpark and one day someone was staring straight in on me. Also shower has no edge or slope so water runs everywhere. The outdoor furniture covered in animal poo. Not much floor space so limited areas to put luggage.

Lovely view from cabin 3. Quiet, rural location with an excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.
Could use some hooks to hang clothing on. A little tight for more than 2 adults.

Very cute and clean and has a washing machine.
A bit small for 4, but really a great place

the site is nice, external areas for the kids to play
the curtains were beautiful but very thin, so a lot of sunlight could come in. I woke up quite early due to that.

Cosy little rural cabin that had everything we needed for a few nights' stay. Easy to get to the sights of the peninsula - don't miss the berserkers lava field! Great to be able to do our washing too!
.A bit cramped for four people, but manageable. Be aware that it's off the gravel road (not a F road though, so should be OK without a 4WD).

Nice little cottage with fully equipped kitchen.
The welcoming staff could have been more friendly.

The location was breathtaking and it had everything you needed
we booked it for 4 and the second bed (sofa bed) was not that comfortable.

The room we were provided in the hotel was luxurious. The food was fine. Financially, we were ahead.
However, we did not plan to save money. We had planned on 2 nights in a lovely cottage to conclude our visit to Iceland. However, on arrival, we were told the cottage for us was sold and the other 2 cottages were not available. Eventually, we were offered a room in the hotel at cost with a free dinner and a free breakfast for that first night. For the second night, we were given a room in another B&B in town at no cost with breakfast included.

This is, without doubt, one of the best stays I`ve had in Iceland. The host was very kind and helpful. Cottages and hotel rooms were very clean. They provide all the kitchen appliances you need. Great location, I would definitely spent more days there if I had time.
All perfect.

Amazing place in Snaefellsness, Stykkisholmur. A beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere. Silence, beautiful skies, very comfortable

We did see the Aurora Borealis

basic wooden cottage, would be a good fit for a couple
good tradeoff quality Vs cost
a bit remote (I see that as a plus for northern light viewing)
might do with a makeover
bathroom could have been cleaner, but just needs renovation

Great location!

Beautiful and quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Early check-in was no problem. Comfortable beds. Kitchen area with table and four chairs. Electro heaters and washing machine with detergent. Very good meals at the Hotel Restaurant (had Supper and Breakfast).
Previous guests had obviously ignored the non smoking sign. Breakfast included in the price would be appreciated. Curtains in a shower cell are often difficult to keep clean. Despite these comments: we enjoyed our stay.
