Tolle Unterkunft in Goring

Sehr komfortabler Aufenthalt bei Rose. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sensationell umfangreich und lecker. Nochmals Danke.

It was very comfortable and Goring is a lovely place

I didn’t realise when I booked that it was a shared bathroom I normally prefer a private one but luckily it was only us using it this time so it wasn’t a problem

Melrose Cottage a home from home.

Melrose Cottage had a lovely home feeling, it was like no other B&B we've stayed in, I'd go as far as to say I felt more like a member of the family than just a paying guest. Rose is the perfect host.

Excellent stay in a peaceful cottage, we would definitely recommend!

We stayed for a wedding at the Swan at Streatly, it was a great location, only a couple minutes drive away. Rose was an excellent host, going above and beyond to help us. The breakfast was delicious, lots of options and a good amount of food. Nice, peaceful place and our room looked over a gorgeous backyard.

Nothing obvious comes to mind.

A very nice and comfortable BnB. Host Rose was amazing!

Rose was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. She makes a lovely full English breakfast and there are lots of great choices of fruit, cereal and yoghurt options.

While we had a lovely stay, we felt it was quite expensive for the standard of the accommodation. There are some small hotels in the area that are a bit cheaper and modern. But Rose certainly adds a positive and personal touch to the property that you would not get at a hotel.

Very good

We had a lovely stay in Melrose Cottage. Rose was extremely welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! Having tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch.

The location was a little out of town so it was a bit of a walk to get there.

Rose was excellent and provided a great place to stay and secure storage for my bicycle.

Melrose Cottage was a great place to stay whilst cycling King Alfred’s Way. I was able to securely store my bicycle in the garage. Location was great and I was able to conveniently walk into town and to the shop. Was nice having the ceiling fan in room to help keep it cool. Rose was very helpful and provided a lovely breakfast.

Very warm welcome

Rose was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Our bikes were safely stored and charged in the garage. After a good nights sleep, breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice for all tastes. Would definitely return. Thank you.

Very pleasant and comfortable B&B with a lovely host.

Rose the host was very helpful and friendly. The garden was gorgeous and very lovely to sit out in the evening sunshine. Breakfast was excellent and cooked perfectly.

I would have preferred an en suite rather than a shared bathroom but it was okay.

Melrose cottage was perfect, thouroughly recommend to others.

We needed an overnight stay in Goring as we were attending a wedding in the area. Rose was very accomodating we were able to check in before the wedding. Our double room at the back of the house overlooking the garden was comfortable with a good ensuite shower room. Asked to make our choices the evening before and what time we would like breakfast it was freshly prepared and served with care. Thank you
