This is probably the best location in the city center, if you're looking to tour the pubs and landmarks. You can walk anywhere, and while it is in temple bar, it's also very central to everything. The apartment is actually pretty quiet even though it's in the middle of everything. Crowd noise is expected, also a lot of seagulls early in the morning. The only main difference to the listing is there is no private access to the rooftop as described in the description : "The property also have inside access to a private roof, with views also over Temple Bar." The staircase in the picture leads to a locked door and the property manager said they would not allow anyone to go there. They should remove that from the listing as it isn't true. It is in the title and description.

A radiator in one of the bedrooms just fell off the wall. It was attached to the wall with plastic clips that were damaged previously. I am sure that you will have to reinstall the radiator on the wall. There was no damage done to the radiator at all.

We stayed two nights in this very cute apartment, located in the heart of the Temple Bar District. We found the beds to be very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The negatives are the apartment itself is up 4 flights of stairs with no lift, the building right next to it is still under construction, the apartment shows some wear and tear. The doors do not stay open unless propped open. One bedroom closed and we were struggling to get door open as the door handle was loose. It would have been nice to have some type of water and maybe a crackers or something left for arriving guests. We traveled from Arizona through Pari to Dublin and arrived very tired and then had to get out to find a store to get something to drink. Just a thought, considering the price that was charged was on the higher end. It would make the overall experience just feel more welcoming. I have nothing terrible to stay about apartment, it looked as it was shown in pictures, it was clean, and location was great. It just needs some minor repairs, grout touch ups and a bit more hospitality . My overall experience was great and I rated everything a 5 as none of things mentioned took away from my stay. Just things to improve on for the next guest. You will love the location, it is just steps from the iconic bar picture seen when googling Temple Bar district, an close walking proximity to shopping and many other sights such as Trinity College, museum of Ireland, Dublin Castle, Teelings and Guiness are all within walking distance.

Location was fantastic.
Location was fantastic.
Location is perfect if looking to stay in Temple Bar. Everything was near and very convenient. And relatively quiet, I thought. The apartment is cozy and warm, we slept in every morning. The only downside was the WiFi did not work the entire time we were there. They said they tried to fix it, but no luck.

As for the apartment, it is what the online booking says it is - 3 beds, 2 bath with balcony and rooftop access, just as described. It had all the amenities you need, but is a 3 story walk up with no lift so be aware. Also, it needed some TLC, there were putty patches on the walls, need to paint inside and many scuff marks. This property is located right in the mix of the Temple Bar area of Dublin. When I booked this place, I knew being in Temple Bar that it would have a lot going on, tourists in the area during day, constant din of traffic and noise and bar revelers until closing time. I knew this and could adapt. If you are looking for a quiet apt in Dublin this place is not for you - this is for someone who wants to be in the mix. Now, future renters beware - the large bank building right next door (literally 50 feet away) is undergoing major renovations to the tune of major noise, jackhammers, welders, trucks and workers yelling all day long. It is continual and constant during the day, starting a 7-730AM. Our first afternoon was 3 hours of jackhammers. Now most days you are out and about and don't hear this, but on a few days we got back early and wanted to enjoy the balcony with some wine and it was construction noise central. Also, sleeping in is a no go as they start at 7-730 AM. I read a review a month previous to our trip about this issue and immediately emailed the manager. They of course downplayed, said it was only during regular hours and said there were no complaints since that review. Well... this really spoiled our stay at this apt!! I wanted to open the windows and let in fresh air but the noise was constant. The construction on this bank building, in my opinion, will take another year, so any renter will have to deal with this additional noise. The rental company needs to state that construction noise is ongoing in their online posting (I'm sure they wont) to make people aware of this construction and they should make amends/dispensation to me and my family for this. Not happy with City Break Apartments, Dublin! If this apt was in any other area of Dublin it would be a home run, alas it is not.
