Located in Bessemer, this charming house for $1,158 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Spectacular location on the 10th hole at Oxmoor Valley, just 175 yards from the clubhouse. Our home was built specifically for groups. Amenities include: 4 Master Suits, 8 Queen Beds, walk-in showers, 75" TV, Pool Table, 3 Leather Sofas and a fully equipped kitchen. We tried to think of everything a group would want on a golf trip with friends or family, and included it in our houses. The finishes and amenities are all 1st Class, and the floor-plan is a Wide Open Concept. There's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. We have 3 houses on same street, to accommodate groups from 4 to 30. You can't stay closer to the clubhouse.The pricing for Palmer is based on 8 guests, but we allow up to 12. Each additional guest is $125 plus tax, per night. (Note: the fireplace is inoperable) Most vacation rental homes were built with one master and small kids rooms. Not ours! We asked ourselves, "If I were to design a house specifically for groups of adults, what would I include in that home?" Then, we built it! We have 5 Oster Golf Houses; 3 in Birmingham, AL at Oxmoor Valley Golf Club and 2 in Prattville, AL at Capitol Hill Golf Club. We have hundreds of 5 star reviews and ONE four star! That still bugs me :) Our entire house is rented as one unit. It is 3,400 square feet, and each square foot was designed for adults to be comfortable. However, kids are more than welcomed too! I have a caretaker that is available to address anything that does not meet your expectations. The homes is very private and surrounded by trees, but it is convenient to shops, restaurants and the best of Birmingham.

My family had to scramble to find a place to stay to get together for Christmas after our parents came down with COVID and we could not stay at their house. Truly the perfect place for our extended family. Plenty of space to stretch out, well stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood, very clean and easy check-in. I highly recommend!

Ricks house was absolutely beautiful and in a stunning location outside of the city of Birmingham. It was comfortable, clean and safe. Parents and coaches had the opportunity to golf on the beautiful course in the community and was an easy commute for us and our players to their games. I’d stay here every year when in town for the event!

Great House with plenty of beds and bathrooms for your golf trip. The house is right at the entrance of the Oxmoor Valley course a short drive to Ross Bridge. Everything was very good except the grill. The grill was old, beaten up. One of the grill grate was broken and the grill was very dirty.

The Oster Palmer House was exactly as advertised with a great location; our group had a wonderful time on our annual golf trip. The house is very spacious well equipped and clean. It had plenty of room to accommodate our group. Rick was very accommodating and easy to communicate with and addressed my concerns very quickly and to my satisfaction. When in the Birmingham area again or in Prattville we would definitely stay at one of Rick’s houses.

This was the first time all 8 of us stayed under the same roof since we were kids. Our ages are 59 to 68. It was fun. We played games , watched movies, went into town and just chilled around the house. It took us back to our growing up days. It was fun. We are talking about doing it again next year. We are talking about maybe coming back. If not the same place, it will be in the same area. Being able to wash our clothes before leaving was a good bonus. This place was awesome. Thanks for a great vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was perfect for our family, great size, good amount of areas to sit, all bedrooms with their own bathrooms so we could all be together or have our own space. Very peaceful setting on the golf course. We would highly recommend this property & would certainly stay again.

This house was wonderful for our family to stay in. 4 Master suites each with its own bath made it easy for my adult children with spouses and my husband and myself to all stay under one roof. Large open living area with well-stocked kitchen, a pool table, and a lovely screened porch that was comfortable with a fan even during a hot July stay. We were in town for our daughter's wedding as opposed to golf (although one son-in-law took advantage). Easy access to all things Bham.

The pictures are actually what you get. The house is fantastic and our group had a great time, especially sitting on the screened in deck on Sunday morning with coffee overlooking the golf course. The beds were very comfortable and LOTS of space for everyone! If we ever return to Birmingham, we will stay again. The owner communicates very well and I would highly recommend this place.

Our eight man group does an annual late spring golf trip every year, trying different venues each year if possible. We stayed at Rick Oster's Palmer Golf House in Birmingham recently. Wow!! Talk about logistical perfection for a guys' golf trip. Having already done Pebble, it may take a Bandon Dunes, Kohler, Pinehurst etc. not to return here every year. Given Rick's attention to detail in building these houses specifically for this purpose coupled with the tremendous golf of the RTJ, we will probably also throw Rick's golf houses in Plattville into the consideration mix as well for future years. The Palmer House is as advertised. Watch the video tour. No surprises. Great places to eat and hang out. No need for trips into town. Make one good trip to the grocery to stock the fridge for your trip and you're set. Great grill and kitchen, comfortable and roomy accommodations. Its a very short walk, about 150 yards to the Oxmoor Valley property clubhouse. You're literally, right there. The RTJ courses at Oxmoor Valley were in outstanding shape and the day at Ross Bridge, just a three minute drive away was perfect. All great tracks, but make sure to pick the right tees as the options vary dramatically. Cool elevation changes and nice variety amongst the four courses. Simply can't say enough positive things about the Oster House golf experience if you're planning a buddy trip to play the RTJ courses in Birmingham. Thanks Rick. We'll be back.
