Cabin at Oaks Village 101 Bud Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502 The Cabin at Oaks Village is located 2 miles from LU campus but feels like country living. With scenic views of the LU Medical Building and the Lynchburg Regional Airport, you will enjoy sipping morning coffee in the bright sunroom or patio. At dusk, enjoy the wildlife that arrives in the neighboring fields to eat and play. Inside you will find a living room with the original log walls. The sofa opens to a queen size bed. This room was the extent of the original home in the early 1900's. There is one nice size bedroom with queen bed. The large country kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals so you can avoid the crowds at the local restaurants. The kitchen table seats four comfortably and there is a card table and four folding chairs for larger dinner gatherings. The kitchen opens into a small den with Cable TV. Also off the kitchen is the bathroom/laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The beautiful sunroom is furnished with wicker chairs--a great place to read and sip coffee in the mornings. Off the sunroom is the deck, complete with table, umbrella and chairs--another great place to relax! Free Wifi! The Cabin has a ductless heating and air conditioning system for those hot humid days in late summer. However, the 100+ year old oak trees on the property, provide ample shade and there is seldom a day without a nice breeze. Open the windows, enjoy the fresh air and just RELAX!
