Excellent location, cosy and clean, would happily use again.

Excellent location, cosy, quiet. Very easy to get to nice eateries cafes and town centre. Nice little touches to make the room nice. Great shower pressure and hot water.

The shower head is high up, would be nice if there was a handheld shower head too. Mattresses a tad soft.

Perfect Location

Clean and with all the facilities required. Bed super comfy.

My bedroom was on the ground floor so it was noisy, I could ear people coming in and out.

Parfait

Cet établissement est parfait jusque dans les moindres détails! Pour commencer, l’emplacement permet de visiter Édimbourg à pieds. Ensuite, le lit est très confortable, et le salon accessible à tous est très agréable avec du thé et du café à disposition. Enfin, la personne qui nous a accueillis était très gentille.

Very cocooning

L'espace commun très cocooning et joliment décoré - l'accueil du gentil Monsieur - le lit très confortable - les infusions/thé/café à disposition - de l'eau très chaude pour la douche - plusieurs serviettes à disposition - le plafond haut donnant à un petit espace la sensation de grandeur

Une odeur étrange dans la chambre que nous avons solutionnée avec de l'encens - c'est assez loin du centre, pas toujours simple quand on a hâte de rentrer le soir après une bonne journée de marche

Clean, friendly but very small.

It was clean and friendly. It had an on suite shower and toilet. It was good value and we could walk into town.

It was so small. We took it in turns to get changed, because once we put our stuff down, there was such limited space to move around.

A good choice for an independent-minded traveler!

The attractive central location, the glorious architecture and view/light, and the comfort in general! The fridge worked (there was a Sainsburys only a couple of blocks away), and the easy chairs were designed for people to actually sit in, two aspects that not all hotels do well with. Good pillows, too.

I was disappointed that staff were invisible. That may have been my misunderstanding, because when I rang the bell on arrival I got an immediate, helpful response -- although with little understanding of English. I felt that getting out of the shower stall was downright dangerous -- a very large step, when one has slippery feet! A grab bar of some sort would be appreciated. The price seemed rather high -- presumably because I booked at a time when several festivals were still in progress. Be warned....

Comfortable stay in a lovely location

Room was very comfortable, the location very nice and quiet but close to cafes, shops and restaurants and easy to get to the old town. Amenities in the room very good with tea, coffee, iron, hairdryer etc.

Only suggestion would be for a shelf for the shampoo and body wash in the shower

Nice stay but sleep was not the best

The location is very nice, in a good neighborhood with lots of cafes, shops, restaurants. The hotel itself is very cosy. It’s also very close to the city center.

The room and bathroom was really small. Pillows are quite large and the curtains dont block outside light, so sleep was not the best.

Pleasent stay

The room was great with a beautiful view, very comfortable bed and nice interior design. It is located rather close to all the attractions.

The Internet could be better, we barely got the signal.

Very cozy and comfortable place, recommend it!

Great Guest House! It's located in a cozy area and is perfect if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay when exploring Edinburgh. You can walk to the city centre in about 20 min. The room was very clean and cozy, definitely recommend this place!

Honestly, nothing bad to say about this place.

Quality Stockbridgeroom

Nicely decorated, comfortable room in Stockbridge, close to central Edinburgh. Wifi worked. Luggage storage on check-out day. Surrounding area in Stockbridge is classic cobbled streets, architecture, and parks & gardens and plenty of cafes.

Accommodation was fine, no issues. Its a room not a hotel, so no facilities other than a common room to mention.

Breakfast was not included but kettle and coffee maker available and plenty of coffee pods and tea bags. Rooms very clean.

Excellent value for money. Bright room with everything i needed for a very comfortable night!

Good value for money room only guest house. My room was bright and super clean - lovely comfortable bed. room had coffee machine, kettle, safe, TV and lovely basket of soft towels. For the money, was very good.

there's no breakfast but i knew that when i booked! but you're in Stockbridge which has a great selection of cafes!

Would definitely stay in again

Clean, peaceful, quiet, amazing service. What I like the most is how they have an espresso machine and coffee pods which were complimentary with room, in addition to the conventional tea collection, kittle and bottled water. The owner/manager was very nice and welcoming and offered a lot of support and help needed with a big smile

Lovely little guest house in a beautiful part of the city.

Cosy, clean little room, affordable, nice area with good bus links to the centre if you don't fancy a lot of walking.

There was no option to have the heating on all the time, it seemed to be on a timer which meant it did get very cold at night as it was frosty outside when we stayed.
