About this condo rental
Welcome to our little paradise in Florida! Come and enjoy some magic days at our Barra Villa Resort, which is well renowned for their sophisticated and playful atmosphere. The resort consists all in all of 8 lovely apartments and studios. Lucky us that we found and bought this cute house! The house consists of 3 units: the "Apartment Pelican", the "Apartment Flamingo" and the "Studio Turtle". Each accommodation has its own entrance as well as a private bathroom, kitchen, and living-/sleeping-area. If requested, we are able to connect the Apartment Flamingo and the Studio Turtle to one big apartment which offers space for up to 5 adults. The common outdoor area offers many different seating possibilities. If you let us know early, it’s also possible to rent the entire Villa Barra II or the entire Resort. APARTMENT PELICAN The perfect accommodation for families! cozy 2-BR-apartment - bathroom accessible from two sides - direct entrance to the garden Due to the two bedrooms, both with a Queen-size bed, families with children will immediately feel at home at our Apartment Pelican. One of the bedrooms offers enough space for a baby cot and, furthermore, provides access to the bathroom. You´ll find the second door with access to the bathroom in the well-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen, you can reach the wooden terrace as well as the garden area with many different seating possibilities. The windowed bathroom includes a shower, a WC, and a sink. We take care that there will be sufficient towels for your stay at our house. In short: not only families will feel comfortable in our Apartment Pelican!

This was our first stay at a VRBO property, and I was impressed with the communication and check in process. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a shabby chic decor. The beds were very comfortable. The location is within walking distance to the Publix grocery store and a great coffee shop.

We stayed in the Pelican apartment in Ft Meyers and loved it. It was small but just the right size for the 3 of us. It is centrally located to all the things we wanted to do on this vacation, had grocery and shopping close by - literally has a grocery store within walking distance. We loved that it had a pool. We spent most evenings relaxing at the pool. Both my daughter and I agreed that we would definitely rent this unit again.

Altamont Manor provided good value for the cost. It was clean, had good amenities including a kitchen, porch, backyard, grill, laundry, bicycles and pool.
It’s close to downtown Fort Myers, waterfront and Edison-Ford Home.

Good Value at Altamont Manor
Altamont Manor provided good value for the cost. It was clean, had good amenities including a kitchen, porch, backyard, grill, laundry, bicycles and pool.

Mostly very nice
Small TV snd only TV. Not happy with reception or size of TV. Add one to bedroom. There are rainy days in Florida that small TV was a bummer.

Within walking distance to town
We really enjoyed the pool at the property! We walked to town a couple of times and also to the Publix Store which is only a block away! Condo was clean.

Hadde en ferieuka med 2 åring og en 8 månaders baby. Gav tilbakemelding om bedre vask av gulv.. men er vanlig å gå med skor inne i Usa og leiligheten var fresh ellers. Stort pluss med flere laken/håndklæ og tilgang til vask med småbarn. Pool var oppvarmet og området føltes trygt.

Nice place in a good location
Conveniently located to downtown. Pool was vey nice. If I had a complaint it would be that no local tv or mainstream channels were available, however, we were able to get Netflix and other streaming services.

This is a nice little apartment that was conveniently located close to downtown restaurants and very close to Publix grocery store. We appreciated the laundry access as we were there for several days. The couch was quite comfortable and we loved the front and back porch as well as the pool. Beds were a little hard with slippery sheets, not sure why they limit the toilet paper to 2 rolls only when we were there for 8 days, and there were no local channels on the TV but these are small items. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It worked out well for our short trip.

This is a nice little apartment that was conveniently located close to downtown restaurants and very close to Publix grocery store. We appreciated the laundry access as we were there for several days. The couch was quite comfortable and we loved the front and back porch as well as the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It worked out well for our short trip.

Great place -- pool was maybe four or five feet - not that deep.. But go up to Northport FLA hot springs if you are out that way - great place to swim so didn't need pool all that much. All in all very fair deal and nice people.

Short walk/ride to downtown Ft. Myers with plenty of eateries. No public beach access in immediate area. Ft. Myers Beach is about a 13 mile drive from location of house. Nice pool. Convenient laundry on site.

They didn’t provide working bikes as advertised and when I asked they said the owner didn’t want to invest in that. Nor did they credit me anything for this. They told me they stopped advertising that and said I had to supply “proof”. Lol. My question is: how would I have known to ask for bikes? Not only was there credit, they then charged my card additional money 1 week after the stay because my son to stayed with me. They also hinted I was guilty of fraud. It’s in a great location and checkin and out was easy. Other than that, it was horrible. I do excursions like this all the time. This is the first bad experience I’ve ever had. I got the impression the business is hurting for money. I also think the owners are remote, possibly foreign, and simple communication is laborious and difficult, and comes across very rude and threatening even though I don’t think this is their intention. I never felt they wanted to help me, or for me to enjoy the stay. They just want $. Sad. Kindness makes money in my book.

If you want to visit Historic Ft. Myers this is the place to stay. Clean, shabby chic decoration. Marcus was so helpful and nice. Will be back when visiting Ft Myers.

Rescue from the Corona Virus
We were staying at my mothers home while she was overseas. When the travel ban hit we needed a place to stay when she arrived home early. Our stay at Pelican was pleasant in a quaint neighborhood and very convenient to downtown Ft Myers. The pool was very pleasant and the laundry facility was very convenient. Would definitely return.

Convenient walk to Edison Winter Home
This 2 bedroom apartment was small, but very comfortable for two people. It was for the most part very clean and had the necessary basic amenities. The bathroom shower curtain was mildewed and needs to be replaced. The kitchen is very small with limited seating and is very dark. The close proximity to the Edison Home was very convenient. There is a Publix within walking distance. The pictures of the pool don’t accurately portray the actual pool. There were limited lounge chairs and the dining table pictured was not present. The bicycles were stored in the laundry room with flat tires. We enjoyed our brief stay but would recommend pictures be updated to more accurately represent the property.

Pleasant stay for my family.
This was a great stay for my family. We have older children so being close to downtown was essential. The location is also close to the Edison Ford Estate which gave us pleasant places to walk in the day time.

Great Location Near Downtown and the Edison Ford Winter Estates
Altamont Manor is a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near downtown Fort Myers just off McGregor Street. We are walkers so it was a great location for us. We took a lovely walk through the riverfront park to all the restaurants and attractions in the downtown area. There is a grocery store, several great restaurants and a new brewpub just two blocks away. You are also within a short walk of the Edison Ford Winter Estates which I highly recommend. The apartment is comfortable and we enjoyed warm fall evenings on the screened in front porch and breakfasts on the porch in the private back yard. The furniture is comfortable and it was a nice surprise to find the TV selection included Netflix. Local channels were a bit of a challenge since they are tuned in via rabbit ears and it took us a few days to figure out that we had to move them off the TV stand for improved reception. We enjoyed our stay and the value of the apartment and will probably stay here again when we return next year.

this house is located in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the Historic District and other notable attractions. Does not have cable for the TV, but does have one local channel and an Amazon Firestick, as well as Wi-Fi; rooms are very comfortable and well maintained
