About this house rental

Situated in Ocean City, this lovely house for $1,114 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Please note: We rent full weeks, Saturday to Saturday only unless your stay is at the end or beginning of rental season. Please message us for availability options. We do not rent to seniors for senior week. We rent for family vacations only. The Sea Jay is located in a prime location on 92nd Street, one in from the Ocean. The Sea Jay is set-up as two nearly identical units. The top floor has high cathedral ceilings, the bottom floor standard height ceilings. Access is gained by stairs on the outside deck. Each floor contains its own Kitchen (with stove, microwave, dishwasher and large refrigerator w/ ice maker), living and dining areas as well as washer/dryers. Each level has three bedrooms with 2 rooms containing Queen Size beds and a kid’s room with twin beds. Queen size sleeper sofas are in the living rooms. There are three TVs on each level. Each level has one full bath in the hallway across from the master bedroom and 1 half bath located between the other two bedrooms. There are also two outside showers around back with Weber charcoal grill and picnic tables. There is Central Air and Heat throughout with separate thermostats, top and bottom. We rent this property as a single unit so the pricing is not for each floor but for both. Single floors may be available in the off-season at reduced rates. The Sea Jay is on a dead end street, one in from the ocean with commanding views of the beach and ocean from the large decks and gazebo on the front of the house. Beach access is less than 100 feet from our door. Numerous restaurants, shops, liquor and grocery stores are within a short walking distance of the house. The Sea Jay is only a 5-10 minute bus ride from downtown Ocean City and the board walk. We have found the Sea Jay a perfect getaway for large family gatherings or two families who enjoy vacationing together. Vacationers have the ability to spend precious time with friends and family but also retreat to our own space when needed. Parking for 4 cars in the driveway with additional parking as available across the street.

The best two things about the house was it’s size and it’s proximity to the beach. There was plenty of room for our family of 16. We spent most of our time out on the deck or on the beach. It was so nice to be so close to the beach. A very easy walk with young children. The kitchens were well supplied. The house could use a bit of upgrades/maintenance but this didn’t take away from the week at all. It was also difficult unloading the cars as the only stairs up to the first floor deck were on the opposite side of the house from the driveway. It would have been nice to have a stairway at the driveway. The outdoor showers were great with the kids and sand. Overall we would definitely go there again!!

Distance to the beach is the selling point of this rental! So convenient and easy with small children. We had a large group and the set up of two separate apartments were nice. The upper deck was our normal hangout and where we ate all of our meals. Wonderful view! Only drawback of the rental is it could use some updating… furniture, etc is a bit worn and aged. Overall, we were very pleased w our vacation!

The SeaJay is located perfectly for a beach vacation if you want to be "near it all" but not in the hustle bustle of the boardwalk area. The beach access is yards away from the house. At the other end of the street are several restaurants and a major grocery store. You never need to move your car the entire week. The huge decks provide plenty of outdoor living space with a view of the beach. The cleaning could have been better but it was adequate. Sand comes with the territory. The house needs a rear entrance for fire safety and access from the two outdoor showers. Our family had a wonderful vacation at SeaJay.

First off thanks to Gerry. Wonderful talking and texting. The Seajay has everything. I enjoy cooking and there was plenty of pots and pans. Great view of the beach And thank goodness for parking. Hope to be a regular

We’ve been coming to OC for decades and we absolutely loved this place. It has that old school OC feel to it! We will be back to the SeaJay for years to come! Perfect location. Steps from the beach with a perfect view of the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing at night while you relax on the upstairs deck. Our large family fit perfectly and never felt cramped. I would recommend this place to anyone! Big thanks to the SeaJay for an amazing vacation!

This was the perfect house for our family! Really close to the beach. Plenty of room for all15 of us to spread out. Kitchens were fully equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the big decks with a great view of the ocean from upper deck. The owner was very attentive and available for any questions we had. He was always a text or phone call away if we needed him. We never had to scramble for a spot on the beach and lifeguards were great Plenty of parking for 4 cars too. Would definitely rent this house again on a return trip! Great place for a relaxing vaction. 2 Great outdoor showers with dressing rooms, foot wash at bottom of stairs to deck was a big help in keeping house clean & sand free.

I have been coming to the beach for many years and stumbled across this Gem of a house. The location is perfect as I like to have my first cup of coffee strolling the beach in the morning, sometimes early enough to watch the sunrise. The Sea Jay is near everything with a grocery store (ACME) right across Route 1. The layout was ideal for us as it is really two separate units, both with full kitchen and washer dryer. The outside showers were so nice I only took one shower inside my entire stay.The view and the ocean breeze from the upper deck were amazing and we usually had breakfast there. One night we had a crab feast at the big table listening to Jimmy Buffet.The house is well equipped with all the necessities you would expect in a kitchen (X2!). The big screen TVs were also a plus but with so much going on and so close to the beach, we rarely watched them.We enjoyed walking over to Schooners (across the street) for happy hour as well as the Clarian Hotel (a 10 minute walk up the beach) where they had live music and dancing. We also liked Secrets which was a short drive away.We walked to Bull on the Beach one night, Liquid Assets another, and Lombardi's for Italian. We also got takeout from Ledo's and Blue Fish, all were good.All in all our stay at the Sea Jay was a great experience. I will definitely return!
