This building is located on the corner of Gulf and Morningside on sunny South Padre Island. The beach access is just steps away, across Gulf Blvd. You will have your toes in the sand before you unpack! From the Flat Screen TV's in every room, the free wireless internet, and the cheery details, you are going to enjoy staying at Surfside II #302. This 2BR/2BA condo sleeps up to 6 people. The main bedroom has a brand new King size bed (2022) and a queen size bed in the 2nd bedroom. You also have sleeper sofa. This condo has a full kitchen, newly remodeled, for you to enjoy your meals in and nearby restaurants for your meals out. The courtyard has several charcoal grills to use while you enjoy the pool and hot tub. You also have your own private washer and dryer. Surfside II is pet friendly with a 25 pound weight limit over 1 year old. Please contact us directly for pet approval. Very clean and comfy condo for me and my 4 kids! Loved that the beach was at a walking distance from the condo and that there was nearby nice restaurants and little shops as well! Definitely worth it!

Location, location, location! If you’re looking for ease to the beach, avoid driving to local restaurants/bars, and a cozy place to rest when recovering from the sun this is the place. The condo came with everything you need minus beach chairs and towels. But we were prepared as we received an email with all the information with what to bring and what was already in place. Would book again and return!

We stayed on the 3rd floor, no elevator, so lots of steps up & down with luggage, groceries, etc.
Unpacked, loaded fridge and woke up next morning to a refrigerator that wasn't working at all.
Called management, they brought us a cooler & ice hours later. By the end of the day, they relocated us to another unit in the building. Had to pack everything up again and move.
We lost a days vacation due to this and were not compensated for the inconvenience.

Easy to rent. We have two dogs, they allowed 2 dogs. Property was nice. Looked just like the pictures on line. A super short walk to the beach. Already talking about coming back.

Every thing was good except the 3rd floor have hard time climbing. Maybe this should be a question asked before you book.

We stayed with a 6yo, 3yo and 5 month old and had more than enough room. It was perfect for our family with the pool and hot tub on site + the beach just a couple blocks away. The kitchen had every dish we needed, more than enough toiletries were provided. LOVED being able to wash our clothes in the apt and bring no dirty clothes home. I would stay again! The neighbors sat out often & said they stay for a few months which made it feel more safe. We were the only people at the pool most of the time which was great too!! Check in was easy and they gave us a code to get in, all rules were easily displayed in binder on site and if we had any questions contact info was simple to find.

This condo was a short walk to the beach. It provided everything we needed and was very comfortable. The pool was cold but it was also December. Thank you for the last minute approval!!

Its just a block from the beach but omg, being on the 3rd floor tires you before making it to the beach! Thats hard when most of your family is children. The kitchen have little bugs crawling all over, so please spray for that! Over all my kids LOVED it!! They slept like champs in the bed lol
*Maybe giving an accurate description of where the apartment is and that you have no elevators would be great! Just so people can know because we didn’t at all! Very spacious and we were all comfortable!!

This condo is good hands of management but it seemed that many items inside should have been upgraded a long time ago. For example, it's hard to imagine not to have a smart TV inside the house; it would make people enjoy their stay more when they are not at the beach or doing other activities and really want to watch a movie or something on Netflix or other streaming services. The sofa is very old and the dish washer is not working properly. In my opinion, the owner just needs to spend $1500 to make the condo become much more functional.

I booked cause my two adult children were coming to visit my dad who just got out of the hospital but their flights where canceled by the airlines so I wound up in the place by myself.. the place would make a perfect getaway for a small young family at this price point..

Dryer door would not close. Had to buy duct tape to keep it closed. Garbage disposal was dangerous, no rubber cover. One light in the hallway had loose wires that kept blinking.
Outside the pool was dirty and outside shower did not work. Loud music and grills were being used in the complex.
Overall, the worst experience for my family after many other rentals that were great!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beach was really close. Parking was close and Kelly's Irish pub was down the street. We also enjoyed the fireworks and the Wanna Wanna beach bar.
