About this house rental

Located in Bluffton, this charming house for $244 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The quaint flat is 2100 sq. ft. and well appointed with vaulted ceilings and spacious, comfortable rooms with plenty of windows to capture the view. The beds are very comfortable too. The house is in a very safe rural setting. It's close to the highway and an easy drive to Savannah, Bluffton or HHI and right on the river so you can fish from the porch. The main house is elevated, completely separate and private with a full kitchen, large living room and formal dining room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. You will even have your own entrance and driveway. I do a very thorough, deep clean between guests. The home also has an i-wave air purifier installed in the air handler that kills bacteria, viruses, mold and other pollutants. There are 6 decks to relax and visit, sleep, sun, dine, fish or swim. There are lots of birds, lizards, skinks, fish, turtles and an occasional alligator. There is some fishing gear on the porch that you are welcome to use. Take a stroll into the side yard and sit in the gazebo or make a fire in the fire pit. You may use my 2 kayaks to explore the beautiful river. They are flat 3 seats and 500 lb weight limit. You have to go when the tide is up. I will be happy to help with them. The driveway will hold up to 5 cars. A great location close to HWY 95, 12 miles from downtown Savannah, 14 miles from the airport, 6 miles to Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, 7 miles to Historic Bluffton, 15 miles to beaches of Hilton Head and 20 miles to Historic Beaufort and Paris Island. I live on the ground level and maintain the property. We have 2 very small friendly dogs that do bark their greetings, 10 chickens in the back yard and two friendly cats that stay outside. No animals go upstairs to help people with sensitivities.

Very clean and spacious, comfortable beds and nice kitchen. This is not a stand alone VRBO. You will be staying upstairs and the owners downstairs. Wish I would have known. Confirm checkout time. We had some confusion with the owner.

This upstairs apartment is located on the main road between Savannah and Bluffton, making it easy to see the area. The house has large rooms and a nice view of the water. The location is quite close to a busy road, so taking advantage of the pretty yard is overshadowed by road noise. Stephanie was a great host, and even helped us when our car battery died. Communication was great, and access was a breeze. We'd recommend this rental to anyone that is interesting in visiting Savannah, Bluffton and Hilton Head.

I can’t tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed our 3 day stay at this beautiful home on the water. We arrived after midnight, with a very easy check in to the property via instructions from Stephanie. The entrance was gated and easy access to keys which made us feel safe. The home was extremely clean, cool, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fully stocked with nice soaps shampoo and conditioners, blow dryer and anything one may need in a home bathroom , even though we brought our own, it was nice it was there for our convenience. The bed was king size and very comfortable with soft sheets and pillows. The kitchen and living room did not disappoint. We are looking forward to staying again, as this property is nested perfectly between Savannah and Hilton Head.

From start to finish it was perfect in every way. My husband and I were celebrating with our best friends. It was her 60th Birthday. I asked Stephanie if she would get balloons and a banner for the occasion. She graciously did and even put them up before we got there. The house and property was beautiful, spacious and spotless. Great location too. We visited Savanna, Beaufort and Bluffton which were all close to the house. We will definitely return. Thank you Stephanie! You were great!

We were here only for an overnight stay driving home from Florida. But the house was just much more than “just” an overnight stay. The house was beautiful, and spotless! The rooms were very comfortable and the view was lovely. Communication with the owner was very easy, she was always responsive. We met a friendly at during our very short stay. This would definitely be a great place to return for a relaxing vacation any time!

I really enjoyed it! I will come back when it’s a little warmer and a lot less rain! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the decks, so we will next time. We were in the area for a wedding and it was a great place for us to be close to town. Yes, it is next to a busy road but it didn't bother us. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished, and well maintained. It was perfect for what we needed.

The apartment was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed and lovely views of the pond out back. I do wish the listing had been clearer on two things. 1) the property is right next to a busy road, and so we heard cars at all hours if we were out on the porch. 2) While the apartment has a separate entrance, there is an internal staircase between the rental property and the floor where the owners lived. We sometimes heard voices from downstairs, so we were worried the whole time about being too loud.

The home was very nice inside. Property around it was rural. The House was set up very nicely...very nice enclosed back porches. Unfortunately it rained our entire stay and due to mugginess outside the inside was the place to stay. Central air worked very well. The house driveway was off a very busy highway and was challengng at times getting out or in. Property Owner was always responsive on any questions or issues. There was no access to a washer or dryer which was supposed to be included. Property owner indicated an issue with that but offered to take care of our laundry. My constructive criticism would be leaving instructions as to working the cable, more towels, how to regulate the ac and washer and dryer availability. There were plenty of brochures for things to do in the area. Overall I would give a rating of 4.

Steph was the best host. Always available to answer questions and help us out. Very clean property and so peaceful! Very private and able to enjoy ourselves. Loved all the outside creatures, Alligator, turtles, chickens, Geckos, dogs and cats. We had the absolute best time there and would love to stay again if we come back down that way.

We were down there for a medical procedure and wanted a place with the comforts of home. This place was it! It was convenient to Coastal Carolina Hospital, HiltonHead, grocery stores and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities of home. Stephanie was a very cordial host.

The home is beautiful! We are definitely coming back. We had plenty of room to stretch our legs. The view is amazing and the wildlife was so much fun (baby alligators). This was the perfect location for us since we wanted to visit Savannah and Hilton Head during our stay. Stephanie was the best host we've ever had. Everything was spotless and she was very accommodating. We had everything we needed in the house and she was available to answer questions as needed. We loved Stephanie's house!
