Situated in the centre of town and close enough to the airport. The availability of smoking rooms is excellent and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. In house resteraunt offers and excellent menu and at very reasonable prices.
It was excellent, there was nothing not to like.

+ Big, comfortable room
+ Very good breakfast
+ Central location - some people don't like Downtown but for me as a tourist was very convenient
- Someone smoked in the room so I could still feel it
- THEY DIDN'T CHANGE BEDCLOTHES! I came to hotel late night and realise the linen wasn't change when I was already in bed/.
If not this I would give 10

Very discriminative by the front office team. Protea next door or any other place can do. If you are a foreigner yes but locals are very discriminated against
The front office staff seem to dislike local clientele. The waiters and kitchen staff very friendly and helpful

I was not sure what to expect during my first visit to Lusaka, but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and all that I was able to experience due to it's excellent location (for a walker who lives to explore new cities by foot). On my first night I was hooked after seeing a gorgeous sunset from my room. Then, I was invited to their monthly reception, which was fabulous and everyone was so warm and welcoming. My room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. However, I never slept late because once I discovered the stairwell in the front of the building, I was up enjoying the sunrise everyday to balance out the sensational sunsets. That alone was the best part for me. Although, I must add that the Customer Service was very impressive, and everyone was very responsive. Serha (sp) in the breakfast area was always ready to greet and take care of me reach morning with a lovely smile. Her care and kindness was exemplified by everyone else I engaged with throughout my time there over the Easter holiday. I was very grateful to Matthew who took me to the extremely busy bus station early on my last day, and made sure I was taken care of for my journey to Livingstone. Such a wonderful way to be introduced to Lusaka. I'm so grateful for this experience. Oh, and good the large Shoprite across the (very busy) street and the refrigerator in the room to keep things purchased there.
Ok, I always have to preference reviews like this with the fact that I lived in Dubai for two years, so 10s are very difficult for me to give. So much of this experience did rate a ten, to include the Customer Service and the fabulous food I enjoyed during my five day/four night stay. However, there are a few things that I will note. Although not something the hotel can manage, but the traffic outside the facility is unrelenting at times. It was challenging when I had people picking me up during my stay. I also had no problem walking all around the area and enjoying exploring downtown Lusaka on both sides of the flyovers, and especially the beautifully tree lined walkway along the road in front of the hotel. Although, once again not something that the hotel can necessarily manage, but I don't know how safe I would have felt walking around there at night. I was disappointed that the live music that was supposed to happen on Friday did not occur, and no one said anything until the start time had long passed. I had asked leading up to the start time if it was still going to happen and was assured that it would even though it was Good Friday. I understand now that the performer was ill, but it would have been good to know earlier so that I could have made alternative plans. Lastly, little, but significant things would be the less than plush towels and the wait time for the elevators. Luckily the stairs in the front with the open window view became my exercise option.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back. Thank you all so much!

People were so helpfull and friendly. Worth mentioning was that I needed a taxi and the lady at the reception arranged that on her private phone (like an Uber app) and walked me outside to the taxi to personally introduce me to the driver. Never experienced such level of service!
The rain, but it was the rainy season after all
