Good for a couple of nights (not the calmest)

Good price, hot shower, good location, mosquito net, nice staff, towels and soap provided, clean, space and sink to wash and dry clothes outside.

You can always hear a loud fan/pump (also during the night) in room 1

Good location with reasonable price

Friendly staff and reasonable price

Stayed in the budget private room. The bed linen had very unpleasant musty smell. The shared kitchen area is unsanitary. Although it’s out of the facility’s control, the manner of other travelers was horrific especially for the bathroom - the bathroom sink covered with hair and phlegm (they clogged the sink drain too), using a toilet without closing the door….I had to escape to another hotel after one night.

Location

Bedbugs in dormitory, no hot water. The place seems to be old and abandoned. I think I am not first who faced with bedbugs at this place. Usually it is cold at night in Lusaka. The room was cold and not cozy, holes in the walls. Wind comes because there is a space between roof and walls. They could use heater like in other places in Lusaka.

OK for the price

The bar area is a nice place to hang out. The staff were friendly and helpful - they allowed us to move our reservation by a night without paying extra after our train was delayed. We had a great steak dinner the night we arrived. The location is handy for the bus station if you are arriving or leaving by bus, and it's a 20-minute walk to the Levy shopping centre if there's anything you need to buy.

The shared kitchen was unclean and unusable because of that, and unfortunately a lot of the food on the restaurant menu was unavailable. There were several cockroaches in our room. The pool was also unclean and was too small to swim in.

This is a great stay when you need a few days to stay in Lusaka and explore the city.

Hi We enjoyed our stay here. The room we booked was very basic, but it has everything you needed for a few nights stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the moment we arrived until we left. They helped us with all the questions we had, and were always smiling and friendly. The location is close to the bus station which we used, and close to the Levy Mall which was amazing. The mall has almost everything you need.

The self catering kitchen was in a really horrible state. We cook a lot when we travel, and the kitchen was really really dirty and unorganized. It was really uncomfortable to use and we decided not to use it in the end. The kitchen desperately needs to be updated, deep cleaned and made useable for guests.

The location of the hostel makes it easy to get to the Center in just 15min. The staff is really friendly and ready to help. I highly recommend you to stay here when in Lusaka.

Reccomended for your stay in Lusaka!

it’s a very pleasant place, clean and organized. There is a nice space outside where you can hang out, nice music and good food! The chef made vegetarian pasta just for me and my friends. The place is quiet and walkable distance (30 minutes) from the caos of the city center.

I love this place. I came here for five days at the end of my trip to Zambia and felt so welcome. My room was quiet, the facilities are clean, the location couldn’t be better, and the staff are so kind! Thank you, zikomo, nototela sana!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. They didn’t provide me a pillow and their staff was completely rude and disrespectful to m

The only good thing about this place was it’s central location.

The staff is awful. They’re not professional at all. My stayed in this place was a total nightmare. These folks don’t know how to treat their customers. I don’t understand why booking advertise a place like this in their site. I’m so disappointed with you guys. Worst stay in my entire trip to Africa!

Location and price were good

Self catering kitchen had hardly any equipment and was filthy so didn’t/wouldn’t use. Toilets were run down ie one shower had no shower head so just a pipe, one toilet had no seat etc. Pool area was nice though pool itself was green. I’m assuming with covid and the lack of travellers there hasn’t been the funds to invest in the property which is a shame as it has a lot of potential. Essentially you get what you pay for and ok for a night

Sadly gone downhill since last visit with filthy , inadequate kitchen conditions for self-catering.

Site close to town. Familiarity. Staff. Having ensuite.

Absolutely filthy kitchen. Kettle, microwave and cooker broken so only 2 electric rings were available with broken knobs for all visitors wanting self-catering (impossible often)! No hot water in kitchen to wash up. Fridge overfilled and swimming in liquid. Pool dirty. We ended up getting gastro enteric infections.

At least the shower was hot

We booked a room with two beds but they gave away our room to other guests (it was a mistake, can happen) Then we had a double, just one bed but the bed was definitely too tiny for two people, we had just one towel and just one breakfast included (so we thought they were giving us a single room as a double room….not fair at all) After nine hours of bus coming from Livingstone we were expecting a nice sleep in a comfortable bed but it was not like this, a lot of noise and the room was super cold.
