Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The overall hotel was lovely and in a beautiful location, I would definitely stay here again. I had a great stay.

The quitiness, decor and room comfortability are Steventon House strenghts. Service was acceptable and warm.
Breakfast - a variety of full english, omlette and/or porridge with juices, tea/coffes and cereals.
Lovely grounds with great parking space.
We loved that it was just right and near our children that resides near Wantage.
It could been better if business was better for these type of traditional English B&Bs. Unfortunately during our 3 days stay - 2 of them, the hotel opened just for us, so services were limited but professionally delivered.

Bed & Breakfast. The staff were friendly.
The rooms were very cold and not heated. The restaurant only offered Indian cuisine- very limited if staying for more than 1 night.

Restaurant (Rasoi) is excellent - best Indian cuisine I've had in ages. Rooms were nice - I was in the annex where they were a bit uninspiring but fine. Staff were excellent. Location good for my office (Harwell).
Breakfast, Cooked breakfast was excellent - I had the veggie one. But the rest was a bit limited. Only cereal was cornflakes and rice crispies. What about some muesli, granola etc? No fruit on offer. Hot drinks - only normal tea and coffee. I asked for a green tea and got it, but would be nice to have a bigger selection. Only jam for the toast - no honey, marmite, peanut butter, I asked for honey and got a dish of it, but would be nice to have a bigger selection out. I often use premier inn and their breakfasts feel a lot better in terms of selection.

Staff and food was excellent
I would of liked the heating to be put on in the room, and for the main bathroom to be cleaner

Spacious room
Staff were borderline rude at check in (burping!) and no one was present at the desk for check out. The room does not have any bottled water which is expected in room of this price bracket and sound proofing in the rooms is terrible! I could hear personal conversations from neighbouring rooms and was at one point concerned for the person in the room above as it sounded like a small heard of elephants had joined them. The least I expect from a room is a comfortable bed and the ability to sleep. On the note of comfortable beds.......why are there not mattress protectors and why were there eyelashes and hairs in the bed?!

Breakfast was very good and the room was good with a nice view over the gardens.
Lack of staff and it seems to be run on a "shoe string". Unfortunately we could not dine in the restaurant in the evening, as the dinner menu was predominantly Indian cuisine with very little alternative to this cuisine.

Great location for Oxford Centre. Easy commute in. Friendly staff, good beer list on tap. Gluten free breakfast menu was an added bonus.
Toast at breakfast was cold both days. Didn't like the fact you could hear the rooms above very easily at early hours of the morning. No room turn over during our night stay, possibly due to covid. Had to ask for additional toiletries

Location close to the office. Staff were friendly.
Room had a fusty smell and in the bathroom there were water marks running down the walls. The pictures make the building look more modern than it is.
