Absolutely amazing hotel couldn't fault it. Room was beautiful, food delicious ,staff brilliant. Fab location. Can't wait to go back.

Vi var enige om at oppholdet var fint, - i omgivelser med historisk sus!

Frokostmeny med valg mellom 3-4 retter. Hyggelig atmosfære med servering av hotellsjef i nærliggende restaurant. Hotellet har en sterk kulturell tradisjon i bygning hvor Camilla Collett bodde. Alt i alt en god opplevelse som feiring av vår 55 års bryllupsdag uten «brask og bram»!

Special and inique hotel.

Beautiful and big rooms, nicely decorated. Great location. Clean and tidy. Very good a la cart breakfast. Mario is a real gem and make the guests feel special and welcome.

Camillas hus var fantastisk, med flott beliggenhet, historie, interiør og personlig service

Veldig god frokost. Satt stor pris på å kunne bestille fra menyen hva du ønsket, og at kokken laget det til deg. Både kokken og mannen som tok opp bestilling, serverte og fulgte oss opp under måltidet var genuint opptatt av om det smakte.

Kommer ikke på noe. Oppholdet var kun positivt.

Elegant, welcoming accommodations in the perfect location.

Beautiful suite. Excellent host in Mario. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the location by the royal park and easy walk to the harbor and museums.

Charming hotel

Nice antic hotel in calm area, while not far from city center. The host is very friendly and complaisant. Hotel provides free parking slots. The room is charming with the spirit of old ages.

Feel at Home

Lovely room in vintage historical home with massive bathroom. Great location by cafes, restaurants, tram and the royal palace park. Kind and warm staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Accommodation in Oslo.

Breakfast is amazing, not the classic buffet and everything they prepare is delicious. Also the staff is so kind and you enjoy every moment, starting with a warm welcome. It is great having the parking available being in the center of Oslo, it is possible to walk to all main attractions.

The reception is not open 24/7, make sure to ask for a contact once there in case it could be needed.

The hotel staff were friendly and didn't mind the questions before the stay. Got a free upgrade to a junior sweet and my in-laws were very happy with their stay. 😊

Fantastic, would definitely recommend.

The hotel was in a great location and a short walk from the train station. The room and en-suite were very large and excellently provisioned. However the top thing were the staff, they always went the extra mile. The following morning after they found out my partner and I were both gluten intolerant they presented special home made bread just for us! Fantastic.

The only very slight niggle was the fact there was a public car park right outside the bedroom window so there were coming and going’s at all hours.

everything, beautiful house, nice room, nice stafff, decor, restaurant. just perfect.

the only small thing I didn’t like is that they did not restock the mini bar or tea once it was finished. I could have asked but I forgot…

Unique, comfortable, nice location!

Really cool boutique hotel in a historic building. Great location in the heart of Oslo, but just far removed enough from the hustle and bustle of the city center. SUPER comfy bed in a unique yet stately room. Staff/service was tip top, in a pleasantly old fashioned way :) Also nice restaurant/bar next door (I think they are affiliated with the hotel?) with a great wine list.

Although the neighborhood is generally quieter than many other parts of Oslo, there were some times when we could hear late-nite goings on coming from outside. Not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again!

it is beautiful and historic but needs a little updating

it is historic and in a great location. the man who welcomed us was kind and very helpful!

some of the items in room were faulty e.g. the candelabra continuously flickered, the bathtub drain went onto floor. we needed to leave early and there was no accommodation for breakfast.

Excellent place you will remember from your visit to Oslo

Staying in this tiny hotel was an amazing experience. First of all, excellent service by both staff members, especially the Portuguese guy. We were welcomed early in the morning and could leave our luggage in the hotel. When we came later we were directed to the largest room in the house, on the first floor. The house is an architectural monument. You feel like you moved some 100 years back in time, but all the amenities were modern (bathroom). There was lots of space and a bathroom with both shower and a tub, with a heated floor. All was clean and decorated in antique style. In the morning we had a choice of freshly cooked breakfast, in the house next to the hotel. Staff gave us also very valuable hints regarding city sightseeing. At the night it was really quiet, despite the very central location of the hotel. The beds were comfortable so we had a good sleep. The tram stop was just some 300 m away. On the last day, we could stay in the room much longer as there were no new guests. Overall at least 4* experience with much better service (personal attention) than you get in any 5* hotel.
