This property largely ruined our stay at Interlaken. it should be shut down. DO NOT STAY HERE

Everything. There is no river view and the property facilities are run down or not present. The worst property I have stayed in. Dangerous stairs, broken bed, failed heating etc.

Location was great, Hair dry was powerful

Our stay at this accommodation was extremely disappointing. The banister on the stairs was coming away from the wall and felt unsafe, as though it could break at any time. The bathroom was very basic and unclean, with spiders and cobwebs. The shower was extremely small and felt more like a basic Scout campsite facility. The towels provided were old and very small. The kitchen had only minimal equipment and was very basic. The sofa was extremely old-fashioned, uncomfortable and looked as though it had been there since the 1900s. The beds were also very poor. The pillows were awful and felt like half a pillow inside oversized pillowcases. Although the bed was a double, the duvet was far too small and only covered half of it. The plug sockets in all the bedrooms did not work and some looked unsafe. There was only one fan, but it was broken, did not work and the protective guard was coming off. The clock outside chimed every 15 minutes throughout the day and continued until midnight, which made it very difficult to sleep. We were also concerned that the only fire extinguisher we could see was by the front door on the ground floor, while the kitchen was on the second floor and the bedrooms were on the third floor. We did not feel that the fire-safety arrangements were suitable or clearly explained. There were no personal touches and no welcome from the owners. Overall, it felt more like staying in a basic hostel than paid holiday accommodation. The price was far too expensive for the standard provided. I would never stay here again and could not recommend it to others.

Dirty and gross

The location, a throw away from the river to an evening swim.

This apartment is really bad. It’s not clean, spider webs everywhere, it’s poorly furnished like everything has been found on the street in trash day. Most lamps are just a bear light bulb, no bedside lamps, the dishes are not dirty but again it looks like they have been found at the salvation army or something like that. The bathroom is disgusting with broken tiles in the shower, no window, it stinks. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart, the cooking ware is minimal, there is not even a colander if you cook pasta. This is way below the bear minimum. This apartment couldn’t be rented so the owner found a loophole to rent it short term to tourists. This is a shame that the city of Unterseen is letting this kind of places on the market unchecked. A few hundred francs at IKEA and a minimum of work inside could actually make it a decent place, but right now is it’s absolutely disgusting and not what you would expect anywhere in Switzerland.

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement du logement ainsi que la facilité d'accès. De plus il y a des place de parcs disponibles juste devant l'appartement. L'appartement n'est vraiment pas cher pour la région.

Il n'y a pas grand choses comme ustensiles de cuisine. Le frigo ne donne pas confiance. La porte d'une des chambres ne se ferme pas et le lit à étage grince. Les lumières ne sont pas très chaleureuses
