Located in South Padre Island, this charming condo for $200 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This is a ground floor condo. It has one bedroom in a soft camel color to snuggle you at your bed time while you enjoy watching a big palsma tv. The bathroom is a soft light green walls and torquoise and white towels for a soft dry. The shower has a rain head and regular head in front for a real rain forest shower. The living room is a light green with navy decor, and a 45' t.v. for your enjoyment. The living room and kitchen have an open space for better mingling and fun. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. The patio has an opening to the living-room and the bedroom. The patio has a table and chairs for you to sit back and relax while having a nice cool drink and day dreaming. This condo is in section E on the ground floor right in front of the heated pool. It is walking distance to the beach. The property has beautiful gardens through out. Recently remodeled kitchen has a dishwasher, blender, coffee-pot, French press coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, pots & pans, dishes & utensils and granite counters with 3 pendulum lighting over stove, with under cabinet lighting and over the top cabinet. This unit also has a washer/dryer unit in the closet for your use. [0 *******ATTENTION REGULAR TAX RATES FOR SPI******* The taxes are 17.5%, which was collected by Homesaway. There has been a change now the owners has to collect the taxes for SPI of 11.5% and Homeaway will continue to collect the State taxes. Homeaway is working on putting this back as a deduction as before. For now the owner has to collect. ************ATENTION Monthly Winter Rates************* Monthly $2000. March full rate

I have just had the pleasure of starying at Tiki !51 . Used as a base to visit Spacex operations at Starbase Boca Chica. 151 condo was well appointed and on the ground floor which was a bonus. 151condo itself was kitted out with all the essentials with the bonus of a very comfortable bed I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at 151 Tiki as a good base for all your South Texas adventures.

Great location! Condo had everything and was clean. We love SPI and would totally stay here again. The grounds on the condo were so nice and loved that the pool was so close. Washer and dryer came in handy. Can’t wait to stay here again.

It was a perfect place for my husband and I to get away for a few weeks! The apartment was a very short walk to the beach - we walked at least 5 miles every day enjoying the sand and surf. The apartment was just the right size for 2 people. It was great to have a patio and was right next to the pool for easy access. We also loved being across the street from the bird sanctuary and really enjoyed Sea Turtle Inc.

Has everything you need! I especially like that it has a washer and dryer. It’s quite and access to beach is with in a few minutes walk. The pool is a few steps away.

Our rental unit was OK. Nice to have a washer and dryer. The bed was subpar for us. Felt like somebody beat us up. The couch was none too comfortable either. Close to the pool, great. Close to the pool, horrible. Guests did not abide by the rules and at 2am were at the pool being noisy and obnoxious. Pool water was way too hot. Like bathwater. Beach itself was great and did not disappoint except for the typical trashy people spraying their suntan lotion in the air. Amazingly stupid people and only at South Padre. Why is beyond me. We wanted an additional 1.5 hours on our checkout day, leaving at 12:30, and the owner tried to hijack us for $75. So we likely won’t due business with her again. New Courtyard Marriot coming on line in 2019, and I suspect it will overwhelm the tiki clientele.

Completely enjoyed our stay!! Unit was clean and close to pool. Only complaint is the bedroom wouldn’t cool off, though the bathroom was freezing. I would still recommend this property!!

It stated for a 4 person stay, but i would recommend only two. That is unless you have small kids. Nice place with full cooking capacity. I loved the fact that it had a stackable washer and dryer. Near the beach. The only bothersome thing was the fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on the bed. Enjoyed our trip.

Overall the property was as advertised, it was clean and nicely decorated. We did have an issue with the furnace going out which turned out to be a short in the furnace. Complex maintenance got it fixed within a few hours. The complex pool heater was out of order for most of our stay, it was fixed for the last three days or so. The location of the condo relative to the beach was great.

I and three girlfriends stayed at SPI for two nights. Flora's condo was absolutely perfect. The condo was spotless, and the decor was very inviting. The location is perfect! Very easy walk to the beach and several restaurants/bars. Check-in and check-out process was simple. I would definitely stay here again!!!

The 1-bd/1-bath condo was a good unit. The unit had really pretty much everything you need, except for beach towels and laundry soap. I had forgotten about the listing stating to bring your own beach towels but there are more than enough tourists shops to buy beach towels at! The pool was right outside the unit and the beach was minutes away. There was even a heavy duty wagon and beach chairs! We packed up the wagon and hit the beach! The owner was very responsive with communication. Overall, a great place to stay! I would recommend it.

Only two things, we had a problem getting into the property. Called the owner and cleared up the problem by explaining the proper sequence. The TV remote did not turn on/work so we called the Tiki management, they sent someone who finally got the TV on, changed the batteries but the remote still did not turn the TV on or off or control volume, he got another remote that did work, however, it did not turn on or turn off the TV, had to do it manually. The TV in the bedroom did not work, and the gentleman could not make it work and said he would have to take care of it later but we were fine as long as one TV worked. Other than these two problems, our stay was great. We probably will return to this same property if we visit the island again which we probably are in November.

Although the unit itself was a little small for our gang, the amenities, cleanliness, and kitchenware are excellent. The overall complex is attractive, well cared for, includes a lot, and is in a great location for beach and town. I hope we can make it back again sometime.

I had to pay someone to clean the house for the first week. I stayed two weeks and was not provided with a cleaning service for any of the time I was there and did not have access to sheets are towels. Washer was broke. She had repair people come when I was there. Manager at property was trying to call me to see if it was alright if they came in. I do not carry my phone with me on vacation. I did not appreciate paying what I paid with not service and being bothered by repair people. .
