This beautiful 2,800 square foot home comfortably hosts up to 10 guests with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Inside you'll find an open kitchen/dining/living room. The living area features ample seating, stunning views, an HDTV, and patio access. The kitchen and dining area are ideal for gathering. The kitchen includes modern appliances, all of the cooking and dining essentials, and plenty of cooking space. The dining table seats 8 with additional seating at the kitchen island. Downstairs you'll find the first bedroom complete with a king-size bed and an HDTV. The first full bathroom includes plenty of counter space and a walk-in shower. The second downstairs bedroom features a full-size bed and beautiful views. Upstairs is where you'll find the third bedroom which includes a queen-size bed. The second full bathroom includes a shower/tub combo. The fourth bedroom offers a full-size bed and two twin beds. There is also a laundry room available for guest use. For both adults and children, outside of the home offers something for everyone! Outside, you'll find a grill, comfortable seating, and plenty of space for the kids to run and play. You'll also have deck access as well as direct access to the Guadalupe River. There's also a covered porch with a gas grill. Pecan Shores Retreat is an ideal destination for those who want to wade, kayak, fish, or just relax by the water's edge in comfort and style, just six miles from downtown New Braunfels. Need a break from fishing, swimming, kayaking, and generally being a river bum? At Pecan Shores you'll completely forget that you're only minutes from the luxuries of New Braunfels which is known for its many charms such as sampling the treats at an authentic German bakery, shopping the charming antique shops and boutiques, sipping wine at a local winery, or spending a day at Schlitterbahn! Want to spend a night on the town? Head into New Braunfels to experience Hill Country-inspired cuisine, boot scoot over to Gruene Hall for a good time, spend a night under the stars at a local outdoor concert venue, or take in a movie or play at a local theatre. Finding something to do in town won't be any problem at all, choosing will be the hard part! *You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times for this home is 10 guests. We manage several nearby rental properties and therefore often have staff in the area. This property was just perfect. The house plan is open and spacious. The home is cozy and comfortable. Everything was clean and well taken care of. I met the owner because he was wrapping pipes for the upcoming freeze that was about to take place. He was very kind and welcoming. The outside area is great and we even used the fire pit for s'mores. I would highly suggest this property!

The home was nice, the property was not maintained. My sister and I were walking down to the pier and both of us got cuts from branches even with shoes on. The deck was nice but after getting into the water there wasn’t a ladder to help get out. I understand that this home stated no pets, but I felt it was unnecessary when my daughter and fiance showed to hang out, she brought her 2 little dachshunds I received a phone call almost n a threatening manner for them to vacate immediately! Which they did but the first day of my only vacation was very upsetting.

This was a 10 star place for us to stay!! The accommodations were awesome and we enjoyed the house and the river so much! I definitely recommend staying there if you're getting a good group of friends together for a nice getaway! 👍

We really enjoyed this property! We had 10 girls on a weekend trip and it was the best to hold all of us comfortably! Pros: Huge kitchen and had most everything you needed! Huge yard space with dock! Fabulous shaded porch, perfect for hanging out Quiet location- still close to things but not in the heart of town Very good communication from the hosts. They even sent someone out to empty the big trash cans from the people before us Cons: There are very minimal extra bedding items- in particular, blankets The door handles on the back door don't latch well. The deadbolt does, but the handles need some work There were only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We actually ended up having to buy our own to make it all weekend The hot water is not fabulous downstairs. Have about enough for whoever gets that first shower We had an amazing weekend and would come back! Thanks for having us!

The location and overall layout of the home was perfect! The washer and dryer worked good! The biggest issue was the plumbing. We did call the first night although I did not hear back. The master bath shower never got even warm,(cold showers each night) had nothing to do with upstairs or other shower) the commode was very slow. The kitchen cold side of faucet does not work well. We also had ants in the master bath. Things need to be tightened and checked. It would have been great if they spent some time on the deck making it ready for guests. It was worn and dirty. We could not sit and enjoy it. There were also cut down branches of trees in the middle of the yard. The cleaning crew needs to do a deep clean in the home. Overall, these few things would make it a great place to come back to. Thank you!

We were just a little disappointed with the outside of the property...the big grassy lawn was dried and dead....the area that was green hadn't been cut in a while....so kids couldn't really use the area to play in.....didn't realize water was so low so kids were unable to get into the water.....it would have been helpful if that information had been uploaded to the website.

The house was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for our family of 7. My only disappointment was the overgrown river access. The weeds were very high. We were unable to enjoy the river area. That area looked nothing like the posted pictures.

The home was clean, spacious and had a very nice large - equipped kitchen. The yard was large down to the back water. Only two improvements needed. Better mattresses and secure fencing at back by the water. Our family had a great time.

The home was lovely we enjoyed the kitchen a lot! We did have some hot water issues in the downstairs bathroom and some water pressure issues. Downstairs toilet was difficult to flush at times. Probably needs some maintenance in those areas but otherwise it was very clean, cozy, and the river & deck were peaceful.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The large backyard was a plus for playing games and the fire pit was wonderful. The large open kitchen, dining and living room were a big plus. We recommend this property for a fun getaway.

The property was beautiful on the river. I was a little taken aback by the $25 fee when I asked for an early check in by 2 hours to drop things off at the house before our dinner that evening. The house was clean and we really enjoyed the views.

Our group stayed in this property for a long weekend. It was extremely clean, everything was functional and the property managers were very responsive to questions, etc. It was right on the water and a very quiet and peaceful weekend catching up with friends. I’d highly recommend this property!
