You can not find a cozier more comfortable place to stay to take in the beautiful town of Rockport. Loved sitting on the porch looking at the harbor seeing the boats come and go. There’s a second porch overlooking the cute shops up and down Bearskin road. So many things to see and wonderful food not to leave out your right next-door to Roy Moores lobster shack, so easy to have lobster whenever you want. Highly recommend this apartment.

We loved this place, perfect location. The place was stock really well. The hostess was easy to get a hold of if needed. We even tried to extend our trip but couldn’t find flights. We will definitely be coming back to stay again..

The accommodations were simply beautiful. The place was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail was evident, from the bedding to the stunning harbor views outside our window—such a relaxing and beautiful home. Furthermore, our gracious host, Eydie, exemplified the epitome of hospitality—readily accessible and incredibly responsive. Without a doubt, we eagerly anticipate returning for many more years to come.

This place is well equipped with nearly everything, we only missed a hairdryer. Bearskin Neck is a nice place for strolling around different shops and restaurants. The look from the roofgarden is great. The access to the flat is a little bit tricky but well described with lots of photos that guests receive upfront to their stay. The parking lot is some walking minutes away.

The last week was Absolutely life changing! My partner and I stayed at Eydies place in rockport on bear skin neck for a total of 5 nights and did not want to leave at the end of it Communication with Eydie was easy so was getting in the unit and parking is like a 5 minute walk and thats only if youre going on a day trip to salem like we did or heading over for breakfast at Georges in Gloucester the neck truly has it all The view Absolutely takes your breath away when you walk in the unit so much light and that is rain or shine Motif 1 is literally your backyard for the entire stay. Waking up and having tea and cofee on that first balcony off the living room is how I want to wake up ever single day she has Absolutely everything you need or want in the unit and you are right in the middle of all the action on Bearskin neck the people in rockport are so friendly the food is amazing our favorites were Fleur Cuinse for dinner the fudgery ( for fudge) and bearskin neck bistros lobster rolls for lunch I think we did every day not to mention the shopping soooo much shopping lol at the end of the neck the sunset on the ocean is beyond words and we enjoyed old garden beach which is a 5 minute drive or 15 or 20 minute walk that was recommended by one of the many welcoming locals I cannot wait to stay here again next year if you are thinking about staying here stop thinking and book right away you will not be disappointed i cant speak highly enough about this whole experience thank you

We had the most fabulous time! Our goal was to unwind, and "re-set". The place was absolutely perfect! 75% of our time was on one of the decks - reading and either watching the boats or people watching. The rest was shopping and eating! Eydie's place is within walking distance from everything we needed. (Our best meals were at Fleur Cuisine and Fesco's Seaside for fresh, seafood.) The bed was super comfortable, and so was the couch. The kitchen had everything we needed, but didn't use, because of all the restaurant options.
It took us a minute to locate the place, and Eydie responded within seconds to walk me through the it. She was amazing. We were there celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and she remembered!
We really had a fabulous time. Everyone was amazingly friendly - including the guy who serenaded us in Italian!
A perfect getaway. We can not wait to return!

This cozy little gem has it all!
We arrived from Boston by commuter train - an easy hour and 15 minute trip. A 15 minute walk brought us to our flat, perched above Rockport’s main “drag” and the center of shops, lobster rolls & ice cream. Despite the busy-ness and tourists over the Fourth of July weekend - we had complete privacy. Being three stories up gave us unrestricted views to the East, North, and West. The pitched rooftops around us were from two story buildings and offered us privacy from the streets below.
We ordered lobster to go (whole & rolls) from Roy Moore’s - which is literally downstairs and next door - and brought them upstairs to enjoy on our terrace with a bottle of wine and the view of our choice (sun, shade, sea, harbor).
Rockport is fantastic (local parade & bonfire to celebrate the Fourth)…is very walkable, with a great selection of boutiques, art galleries, shops and restaurants. Gloucester is a short Uber and home to great whale watching opportunities.
We took full advantage of the property’s amenities - washer/dryer, kitchen, wifi, etc.
The property owner is very attentive and quick to communicate/respond with directions and answers. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and local chocolates. We’re already seeing ourselves coming back to Rockport, and without question…we’ll want to stay in this property again!

We were looking for a place on the water to just relax, this place was perfect. It was also a central location to several day trips. The place was clean and very relaxing with excellent views. We will definitely stay here again.

The location and views from the apartment were amazing, right in the heart of Rockport within walking distance to everything. The apartment was immaculate and the host had excellent communication with her detailed check-in instructions. She was also available to give restaurant recommendations. The apartment had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and highly recommend this property.

We loved that the location of the property made restaurants, shopping and the beach all within walking distance. The outside deck with a view of the harbor and Motif#1 was amazing. The kitchen was well-supplied with everything you might need. The host left us a bottle of champagne which was a wonderful, welcoming touch. The end of October was a perfect time to visit Rockport. The weather was still nice and most stores/restaurants were still open. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

My wife and I felt comfy in this nice and clean rental. We would definitely stay their again, our WiFi connection was the only thing we had trouble with. We were able to connect with no issues, the connection was just slow which could have been a temporary thing.

Nice location, easy to walk everywhere in Rockport. I recommend the Fish Shack for dinner and drinks and George's in Gloucester for breakfast. This is a good place to unplug and chill for few days. The views from decks ofter good views of the harbor and ocean.

Terrific view of the inner and outer harbour and activities from the windows and decks. Comfortable sleeping, very clean unit, and close to very good eating. But other minor amenities could do with some upgrading: e.g., three sauce-pans but only one lid, an iron but no ironing board, upper rack in dishwasher broken, and two lamps with burnt out bulbs. Also, distance from residence to car parking is misleading—described as 2-3 minute walk but at least 5 minutes at a brisk walk (500 metres or almost 600 yards). TV interface should have written instructions. Described as “like a computer”, but only if one is familiar with the old command-line interfaces (except with icons) that disappeared circa 1985 with the advent of GUI. We found this very frustrating as it was hit or miss each time we wanted to watch something.
Notwithstanding the above we had a very good holiday, really enjoyed the location and appreciated that Eydie responded promptly when we got in touch with her.
All in all a very pleasant and happy trip.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in late September. The weather was beautiful and we spent most of our time on the balcony overlooking the harbor and watching the lobstermen come and go. The property was very clean and Eydie was very responsive as a host. Don't miss Roy Moore's lobster right next door!

Agree with the general consensus that this is an exceptional vacation rental in a charming area. The space finds balance between homey and simple/clean design, the bed is comfortable and the shower delivers good pressure. The kitchen is well appointed, though we chose not to cook. The clincher is absolutely the deck overlooking the tiny harbour and bay- beautiful, relaxing and yet non-stop boat and people watching entertainment. Having lobster dinners a one minute walk away was a great bonus. And if there’s an event that interests you at the Shalin Liu Performance Centre while you’re there, go- what an amazing space. It was hard to see our week come to an end, and I hope to return in the future.

My first impression was WOW! The views were amazing! The shops and restaurants were seconds away! With being in the heart of Rockport, you would never know it, with how quiet the condo is. Would definitely visit again!

The Rockport apartment was lovely. Open, clean, comfortable, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Since we were on the third floor we enjoyed fantastic harbor views from our decks. Newly installed air conditioner kept the house very comfortable. We highly recommend this apartment. We are thinking about going back next year.

Great location and outdoor space
We had a lovely long relaxing weekend at this property. It's in the heart of Bearneck, surrounded by food, coffee, and shopping. A close walk to Front beach. We enjoyed sitting on the patios watching the port or sunset and stars. We would stay here again if we ever come back!

Way more than we expected...
We knew from the photos that it was going to be amazing. When we got there though, we just kinda stood there on the balcony, silent, and then looked at each other and both said, "Wow". The thing we liked the most about it was just the genuineness about it. It wasn't Myrtle Beach with the "Fishing Community Facade", it is a fishing community, nothing fake about it. Best Lobster I've ever had and the local shops were very nice. The condo was very comfortable, and clean. We will be back.

Great getaway
This is a very nice apartment right in the center of commerce. It offers great views from both decks. Even though right in town the unit is very quiet. There is always something to watch happening in the harbor. We loved getting lobsters next door at Roy Moore's Lobster. All the staff there is friendly and the lobsters are great. They put them on a tray and we dined on our deck overlooking the harbor. Beautiful!!!

Absolutely Amazing Views
This unit is absolutely lovely. There are views 270 degrees of the harbor, the ocean and also overlooking Bearskin neck, literally right below you. The unit itself is gorgeous, Everything you need - great large TV, super comfy bed, nice kitchen with everything you need. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the deck overlooking the harbor watching the fishing boats come in and out. We had somewhat rainy weather but it didn't even matter. The unit is quite a good size as well and you can walk to everything, even with a bad knee! Parking is off the property, maybe a 3 -4 minute walk for someone who is older but you can pull right behind the unit on the wharf and drop off people, groceries, luggage, etc. In my opinion this place is well worth the money. You just can't get that view from an apartment or condo. Thanks!!!
