Nestled in Vail, this attractive house for $1,666 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Vail Chalet is a spectacular custom-built vacation home rental located in prestigious Potato Patch in Vail Village.(see map of the neighborhood). Pets are negotiable. Our Vail home rental features 4 beautifully furnished bedrooms that are all located on separate floor levels for ultimate privacy. Every bedroom has its own heated stone balcony with French Doors that open to the mountains. There are 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom and 1 bunk room with 2 sets of adult bunks. All bedrooms have en-suite baths. The large 2 story living room overlooks Vail Village and the ski mountain. There is a 30’ tall floor to ceiling Moss Rock fireplace that adds to the chalet’s ambience. Fine art and designer furnishings including antiques, oriental rugs, large chandeliers, and leather fireside couches all add to the exquisite accommodations. All the bedrooms have new pillow top mattresses with 1000 count Egyptian cotton linens. The gourmet kitchen comes equipped with all the necessities including Viking Gas Range, Sub Zero refrigerator, wine cooler, and 2 dishwashers for entertaining. Almost at the top of Potato Patch Drive, this beautifully appointed home has everything you need to be comfortable and feel you are away from it all. The living room has vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows and opens to a spacious deck with chaise lounge chairs, a couple of dining tables, and a small bird feeder that attracts adorable chipmunks.
Each bedroom comes with luxurious linens and an assortment of pillows, while the 4 bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as fluffy thick towels. Each bedroom had a balcony or windows that opened to let in the clean mountain air.
The kitchen has two dishwashers, plenty of plates, bowls, flatware, and cooking pans/sheets to be able to fix several meals in a row without inconvenience. A Viking stove with electric ovens and a subzero side by side refrigerator as well as a wine fridge provide plenty of room for food.
A lovely laundry room, as well as the kitchen and half bath are stocked with soaps, detergent, everything one needs to keep house.
The host connected me with her housekeeper which was helpful. She checked in several times to make sure we were settling in well.
The location, in West Vail is about 5 to 10 minutes from a City Market and Safeway, and just across the highway from Lionshead and Vail Village. Very easy to get on IH 70 to go to areas to hike, river rafting, fishing, Aspen or Denver.
A lovely getaway; comfortable, spacious, and well appointed.

This house is absolutely amazing. Great space for families where everyone can have their own room. It’s well laid out, super clean and a fun house to cook and enjoy your family. The only downside is the driveway is incredibly difficult to maneuver with any large SUV.
The host is the most responsive host we’ve ever stayed with and so helpful!!

Everything about this chalet was perfect for us. The house was spacious, well appointed with a professional level kitchen and easy access to Vail mountain. The landlady Christine hold not have been more accommodating. I would rate this house an 11 out of 10!!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The house has lots of space and a great kitchen for cooking. The views of the mountain and warm fireplace made our group never want to apres anywhere else. Christine was super helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend. The only downfall is the driveway and parking lot is very tight, but even with a couple of SUVs we were able to make it work!

We had a great stay! The neighborhood and the house were lovely. We found it to be fully equipped with everything we would need! Beds were comfy, kitchen was great, we cooked almost every meal in the house.

The home had plenty of room for everyone and had spectacular views of Vail Mountain. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well for our cooking in. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with, which is not always the case with VRBO. Over all it was a great trip and would do it again n heart beat!

Beautiful house and gorgeous view
Our family had a wonderful time at the Vail Chalet, the kitchen is well equipped and easy work in, the large living and dining area are cozy and a welcome spot after skiing with the fabulous fireplace! The bedrooms are private and comfortable each with its own porch. I highly recommend this property ,we will be back!

Exceptional Property!
In 2021 our group returned to the Vail Chalet for the second consecutive year, as our experience in 2020 was exceptional. This year was no different, enjoying the magnificent home, views, location and wonderful property owner, Christine. Having traveled all over the world, I can confidently say that this is one of the nicest properties that I have had the good fortune of enjoying. Be it with a family or group of friends, you cannot find a better home to enjoy your leisure time in Vail. The common areas, beautiful kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms are all complimented by a view that is second to none. If you are looking for a wonderful place for which to enjoy the mountains, then look no further than here!

Gorgeous Vail Views!!
Our family of 8 (7 adults, 1 toddler, 2 dogs) spent one week at this home. Each group had their own en-suite bedroom. The house was fully furnished with all our kitchen, bathroom and misc. needs. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The views are beautiful!!
Due to the location of the home on the slope of the mountain, there are 2 items any renter should be aware of before booking: 1) There are lots of stairs and each bedroom is on its own separate floor. 2) The parking to maneuver into the garage is challenging and be prepared for only 3 parking spots.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this house.

This property is beautiful, however, there was a great amount of miscommunication with the listing details. There were 8 of us that were staying in the house, but when we got there, we parked on the street having not known the strict parking policies. Apparently only 3 cars are allowed on this shared driveway (2 garage spots and a tight parallel parking situation in front of the garage). We had 5 cars total as we all drove separately to the house from Los Angeles. The neighbor across the way called the police and they came to us with a warning. This was quite uninviting... We later found out that the property owner across the street has complained multiple times about the management of the VRBO property.The photos of the place are correct, but the place was not tight... The sinks were clogging, we found clumped hair in the drain as you lift out the sink stopper, there was a colony of spiders in the bunk bed room, there were family photos everywhere which we thought was strange, there was left over food in the fridge, and trash still in the trashcan. They were certainly not taking COVID - 19 pre-cautions. It looked as if they rented the property out and just stayed at a hotel, it was not prepped to be a vacation home and for the amount we were paying, IT WAS NOT WORTH IT!We were looking to have a nice happy stay and from the start, we felt uninvited with the neighbor complaint and with the house not fully prepped to be a luxury vacation home rental, it was all not worth the stay or money. We ended up shortening our stay and having to find another alternative... It was so disappointing because the photos made the house look absolutely stunning, but there was a great lack of communication...All in all, we ended up shortening our stay and the property manager gave us a partial refund.

We just stayed here recently and it was perfect for us. Way bigger than what we needed but just what we wanted. The shower in the master bath is reason enough to rent this house. Christine was very accommodating and very easy to deal with. We had a couple of questions early on when we arrived and she answered them very quickly and precisely. Can't say enough good things about our experience with this house!

Vail Chalet - Fabulous
An amazing home - I say home as that is exactly how it felt. Comfortable, beautiful decor, equipped with everything you would need for 10 people. Having a bedroom on each floor gave everyone privacy and some space. The views were spectacular and we found it an easy walk into town.
Our family had a wonderful experience in Vail and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the chalet.
We would definitely rent the home again and will tell anyone we know visiting Vail to stay in the chalet!

Vail Chalet - Spectacular
This is truly and extraordinary chalet. Very european-like chalet. Extremely spacious. Comfortably fits 10 people in 4 bedrooms. Amazing views of the Vail slopes. Only a 5 min drive to the slopes. 2 garage spaces to fit cars. Kitchen is state of the art. Nearly all bedrooms has its own balcony. The living room is a great place to hang out in front of the amazing fireplace. High wooden ceilings. There is more than enough space for privacy. All bathrooms and the kitchen have state-of-the-art appliances. This is a chalet where it has everything you want - above and beyond in some cases. I highly recommend and will be looking forward to going back next year.

Vail Chalet - Georgous
we all arrived late that night after traveling all day. when we saw the house it was all lit up from the inside and looked beautiful. once inside we all said WOW did we all luck out. high ceilings, big beams, stone trim and floor to ceiling fireplace. the chalet is furnished beautifully with all the latest kitchen appliances and wine cooler. the views are spectacular in every direction. bedding is of the finest quality with all bedrooms on separate levels for privacy. the kids loved the house and think its their ski chalet. we will be back again. lots of fun and used the chalet's private garage inside the village.
