201 Tennismaster, Beautifully Remodeled End Unit with Pool View!
About this house rental
Beautiful remodel completed in Winter 2018 gives your family plenty of space to hang out together in our open layout of kitchen/dining room/living room. The kitchen was re-built from the floors up, including granite counters and all new appliances. The new laundry area adjacent to the kitchen also received a new washer and new dryer. The first floor master bathroom was also rebuilt from scratch with new flooring, a custom walk-in shower, custom vanity, and all new plumbing and fixtures. A completely renovated 1st floor half bath and new flooring throughout the first floor completes our remodel. The bright and cheery living room has a wall of windows to let in the sunshine and includes a queen sleeper sofa and a large LCD flat screen TV. We have wireless high speed Internet and digital cable, including DVR service on the Living Room TV. A sliding glass door in the living room leads to our backyard patio with a charcoal grill. Tennismaster's large community pool is just steps from our back door and is visible from our open patio and screened-in porch (with ceiling fan). The master bedroom is also located on the first floor and has a king bed, ceiling fan, LCD flat screen TV, and a private bathroom. The master bedroom also has a sliding glass door to the backyard patio. On the 2nd floor are two additional bedrooms; one has two twin beds while the other has a queen and 2 twins, private balconies and private baths for each. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs and ceiling fans. The perfect location and a beach locker! Shipyard is centrally located on the island, close to championship golf courses, popular restaurants & shops, watersports and more. Our end-unit in Tennismaster is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach on a beautiful, paved path which leads to the Shipyard Beach House and your personal beach locker. Use it to store your beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys throughout your stay so you can enjoy yourself at the beach without having to carry your beach items back and forth each day. We also have an outside storage area at the condo where you can keep your bikes and outdoor gear. Our family has called Hilton Head our 2nd home for over 40 years and we love to help new visitors enjoy our island! Ask us if you need help planning your activities!

We really enjoyed our stay. We cooked most meals at home, the kitchen is very well equipped and big to accommodate comfortably the whole family. The downstairs is renewed and beautifully furnished. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with a bathroom each: they are a little bit older in style but really big and comfortable. We liked the area and the facilities. I would recommend this place to friends.

Our family prefers dining at home, and we loved that the kitchen in this unit is even more wonderful than it looks in photos. Spacious enough for multiple cooks plus cheerleaders & chatterboxes, it made meal prep such a fun part of our time together! Dozens of delightful memories made here. Dream kitchen. Dream property.

This is the 2nd time staying here. They have some new furniture and mattresses this year. Very nice and comfortable. She messaged me about the weather from hurricane and numbers to call if needed. We made it through the wind and little rain. We are women over 60 and really enjoyed the screen porch for coffee in morning. We love how the pool is right outside the place. Nice big pool and every year we stay in that area we almost are the only people there. 10 minutes walk to beach and love the beach locker.

First of all the fact that it is a gated community, was a huge selling point. We felt very safe. The grounds, the entire community, was clean and very well taken care of. There are walking/bike paths everywhere.My only problem with the paths was that if you are walking with people, it is not wide enough for you to walk side-by-side with someone You are constantly having to walk single file because of the amount of bicycles. Which, if you are a bicyclist, this is a dream area for you! The beach is so easy to get to. It is a less than 10 minute walk. There is also an area for you to park if you need to.
The house was amazingly clean. It had everything we needed to cook with. There are plenty of bathrooms. One for each bedroom and an extra half bath. There are plenty of sitting areas if you want to get away from the people you were with. :) I love the fact that the door is keyless entry, so I did not have to worry about losing a key. We did see the infamous alligators. Just let them live their lives and they won’t bother yours. Kelly responded to each and every one of my questions, and was so very helpful!

201 Tennismaster was a wonderful, quiet and very relaxing stay. We were close to the beach, and the locker made it so easy to ride our bikes to the beach, show up and lay out in the sun and fun anytime we wanted to. Shipyard was a beautiful great place to stay with lots of quiet bike trails, nature and 5 minutes from shops and good restaurants. The house was well appointed and the screen porch area was perfect for drinking coffee and watching the birds. Plenty of room to hang out and play games. The storage shelter is huge and can store all your beach gear. The bathrooms were updated and very clean and the kitchen was beautiful and had everything we need. I especially liked the washer and dryer being full size and was quiet and quick for my towels. Kelly was a great host and responded quickly and sent the door code and instructions. We would definitely stay there again and already looking for dates for our next trip to HHI.

We have been coming to Hilton Head for 7 years now and once again we’ve had an amazing rental experience! From the cleanliness, location, spaciousness, and to the communication with the owners….all A+ ratings!! We will definitely be looking forward to next year!

This was a wonderful home for our family. Spacious, beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms and amazing open plan kitchen! Walking distance to the beach, short bike ride to Coligny, large well kept community pool !! Everything was just as advertised and the home owner was quick to reply to any questions !! Will definitely return soon!!

We have been staying in tennismaster for 27 years..this property is one of the best as far as having everything you could possibly need!if you love pools..this unit is just steps away from a huge pool! The beach is a short 5 minute walk! The unit has some nice updates also!! Would definitely rent this again when we have family in town! Kelly is always available to answer any questions you have!

Well appointed property with updates
Great experience at 201 tennis master. The family loves HHI and we really like shipyard and this place didn't disappoint. It had everything we needed for cooking and a nice big island. The the beds were comfortable and liked that the large pool is close, right out the back door. This is a quick ride to the beach on the beach cruisers we rented and the beach locker was very handy to store our stuff each day. Overall a great place we would love come back to.

Very clean, exactly as pictured, and an ideal location!
We loved this property so much that we hope to rent it again in the future. We like to cook in, so we were thankful for ample cookware and utensils. Our grandkids loved the pool, and we enjoyed the close proximity to both the pool and the beach. It was easy to baby-proof the house for our 9 month old grandchild, and the floors were clean enough that we felt comfortable allowing him to crawl around. The property is exactly as it is pictured.

Wonderful condo, location, amenities
Perfect stay for family of five plus Grandma. Beautiful condo, kitchen has all the cooking and serving necessities, bedrooms and living room are spacious, screened-in porch is lovely. We love walking to the beach and using the beach locker. Pool is great. Owner was responsive and helpful. We noticed several upgrades since last year, including an additional bed upstairs and a beautiful new sofa. Our second stay here but hopefully not our last!

Loved our stay!
We’ve stayed in Shipyard for the past 13 years. This was by far our favorite! It was so well maintained, had plenty of room for our family, and was so close to the beach. We were within sight distance of the pool, which was wonderful. Little things like having a well stocked kitchen, plenty of extras to get us started with the week, and walking in to an extremely clean and comfortable space was a bonus! Everything was perfect!

The 3 bedrooms w/ on suite bathrooms were perfect for us, our kids (15 & 13), and the friends they brought. There is a pool right out back and a screened in porch as well. The whole experience was convenient and communication with Kelly was excellent.

Wonderful stay
Exactly like pictures. Plenty of room for 5 older women beach trip. So enjoyed the screen in porch. Beach locker was wonderful for our chairs. Would rent again. Owner was very helpful and fast when we had a problem.

We would definitely stay here again and appreciated that it is located in a guarded community .

Beautiful property, fantastic location, responsive owner
We had a wonderful stay at this very well-located property! Less than a half mile to the gorgeous beach - and with access to a beach locker (this was amazing!!), to leave chairs/umbrella/toys/all the extra sand - so very walkable, but we still drove several days and used the owner's beach parking pass. The pool is terrific and very close. Shipyard Plantation is well located on the island - easy to get to Sea Pines, Coligny Plaza, Shelter Cove, all our favorite spots.
The kitchen and master bath are nicely updated, the downstairs areas are very spacious, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. The upstairs could use a refresh, but the kids didn't mind at all; and the kitchen was a little less clean than I would like, but that just required wiping a few drawers and washing a few dishes before using them. Otherwise a wonderful stay, very helpful and responsive owner. We would definitely be happy to stay here again in the future.

I will break this down into two reviews.
The property itself/the owner and the cleaning crew.
I really liked this property. The location is perfect! It is extremely close to the pool, literally right outside the backdoor. The walk to the Sonesta beach is only a minute or two. Each day I enjoyed walking to Coligny (about three miles). The first floor of the property is beautiful. The kitchen (which was a huge factor for me in selecting this property for our stay) was large and very well equipped. There is tons of counter space and cabinet space. The stove, microwave, and fridge are like new! The kitchen is also very well stocked (silverware, cooking utensils, baking pans, baking sheets, skillets, blender, crockpot, and much more). My only suggestion would be maybe adding an airfryer. Also on the first floor is the laundry units (washer and dryer), both were like new!
The master bed room and bath are perfect!!
The upstairs is not as modern as the lower level. The two full bathrooms upstairs was a nice bonus, but they are little tight.
The owner Mrs.Souply is absolutely great! She responded very quickly to all my questions/concerns in the months leading up to our stay, as well as, during our stay. She is extremely kind, caring, and understanding.
My only complaint about our stay was the cleanliness of the property when we arrived. We found the freezer still had opened containers of food, the cabinets had crumbs/sticky substance, we found clothes from the previous renters, and the upstairs shower had dirt/sand in them (which cleaned up with some bleach and a Mr.Clean magic eraser). We contacted Mrs.Souply about the issue and she was very understanding and handled the issue like a professional. I do not blame Mrs.Souply at all for this issue. This was my only issue the entire time and I personally feel the blame here falls on the cleaning company/crew that were hired by Mrs.Souply.

Wonderful property!
This home is near everything - under 1/2 mile to the beach entrance, a mile to the shops, restaurants, and parks at Coligny, and a few yards out the back door to a large, uncrowded pool. The home was well stocked with everything we needed - including an impressive array of kitchen utensils. Everything was extremely clean. The beach locker is an amazing amenity - no more lugging the equipment and toys for small children back and forth, and it makes biking/walking to the beach super easy even with little ones in tow. Every time we used the beach locker someone asked how we got it! The owner was responsive and easy to reach when we had questions. I have paid more for places that weren't nearly this nice. We will definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it!

Perfect getaway
My family and I rented this house for my birthday and it was amazing! The house was beautiful. Kelly was quick to respond to my messages and always so through. A few neighbors didn't seem pleased to have renters at the pool and tried to make us feel uncomfortable but that was the only issue we had and most definitely not anything the home owner can control. But wanted to make others aware in case the encounter these unfriendly people at the pool. Otherwise amazing time and can't wait to come back.
