About this house rental
**Discounts offered for weekly rentals** Bask in spectacular views of the Gore Range and Vail Valley from this large property. Located on a cul de sac at the end of Buffehr Creek Road, this home has some of the best views in the valley. Beautiful decor and spacious living areas add to the views to create a wonderful place to call home during your visit. The kitchen is very large, with high end cabinetry, counters, and appliances. The living room has vaulted ceilings, cozy, comfortable furniture, and more than enough space for your whole group. Normally you'd have to rent a 4 bedroom home or larger to get this kind of living space. Some additional benefits include the 2 fireplaces, a Jacuzzi tub, a steam shower, a heated 1-car garage, and of course free WiFi. The kitchen is so big, and fully equipped, so you can plan to cook all of your meals at home if you prefer. The solid slab granite counters and upscale stainless steel app appliances are very appealing. There are traditional and glass cabinets as well as open shelving. The lower cabinets are mostly drawers for easier access. The island is massive but the kitchen is so big it doesn't impede what is a very feng shui flow. You can stand at the sink and enjoy good company seated at the bar as well as a great view out the many windows. The master bedroom is very large and will have you feeling special. From the bed and all other areas parts of the room, the views are stunning and panoramic. The furniture is of the highest quality, and the bedding is plush. When you wake up, you'll surely smile, but with the ski slopes staring you in the face, you not stay in bed long - adventure awaits! Waking up to winter's snow covered slopes, the green forests of summer, or the beauty of fall colors, the views are amazing in any season! The master is more than views though! Warm up by the fireplace while you get ready to go ski, or before hopping into bed. Enjoy the large flat screen TV. If you need to get some work done, there is a large, executive desk, but you might find it hard to get much work don with those views. The master bathroom features dual sinks, a large Jacuzzi tub, and a steam shower for a spa like relaxation. This bathroom suite is a good size with quality tile and even a separate, private room for the toilet. The master bedroom is so amazing, it is impossible to beat. However, the second bedroom has a lot to like as well. This room has high quality furniture, tasteful décor, vaulted ceilings, a private deck, a walk in closet, a TV, and of course, views of the ski resort. The bed is a Queen size, which makes this home perfect for two couples. The third bedroom is right down the hall from Bedroom 2. It has a high end, and very comfortable, sleeper sofa, which could be ideal for adults or kids. This room also has it's own private deck. It is a smaller room, but with a wall full of book shelves, and the super comfy couch, is a great place to relax or sleep in privacy. There is a full bathroom off the hall between bedrooms 2 and 3, and another full bathroom off the main living space as well. The multi-level layout of the home creates a lot of privacy. But don't worry, this multi level home has an elevator, which makes accessing each floor as easy as can be. If you're tired, or arriving with heavy bags, that elevator really can be helpful. The master is on the top floor, all by itself. The middle level includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, a full bathroom, and a private patio. The next level down is where you find bedrooms 2, 3, their decks, and another full bathroom. The ground floor includes the heated garage, with plenty of space for your vehicle and skis or boards. The drive over to the slopes is not bad at all, clocking in under 10 minutes to the Vail Village parking structure. There is room for 1 car to park in the garage. In winter, when snow plowing is ongoing, 1 car is the maximum limit for the # of vehicles. Additional vehicles would need to be parked offsite, such as in the Vail Village parking structure. The driveway is heated to make entry easier, though 4WD or AWD is still recommended. In spring, summer, and fall, when snow plowing is not ongoing, parking on the street is allowed, and guests may have up to 3 vehicles at this property by having 2 in the cul de sac.

This beautiful, four-level, townhouse overlooking Vail Mountain is well furnished with comfortable leather couches, a gas fireplace in the living room and lovely art work, sculptures, and pottery. The main bedroom suite, fourth floor, has a king bed, gas fireplace, and large bathroom with double sinks, jacuzzi and steam shower. The kitchen is large and well laid out so it is a joy to prepare meals.
We rented this home for three weeks in January 2024, planning to ski every day. Unfortunately, the weather was cold, windy, and there was such poor visibility that many days we stayed home instead. The house was very comfortable and were were glad to have chosen his home. This is a spectacular property and it could be raised another notch if the following suggestions were implemented.
The shortcomings we experienced were:
1. There was only one light weight blanket on each bed, there were no additional blankets or throws. The blanket and pillows on the king bed were queen sized.
2.There is only parking for one car in the winter, so if guests have two cars, one must be left somewhere else. Also, a large sized SUV would not fit in the garage.
This was a cozy place to stay and we hope to rent again next ski season.

The unit was grand and well laid out & incredibly constructed & furnished with fantastic views … would have loved to stay longer & return ..
But, No warm or hot water …
Departed a day early because unable to bathe except with Cold water .
Tried unsuccessfully working with the management company (??) throughout the 2nd day to resolve the hot water issue to no avail, had to monitor water temperature throughout the day, but it never improved.
Just couldn’t spend another day without a shower especially after traveling & outdoor activities. Other minor issues also .
Regret this was a spoiled much need vacation.

Our stay in Vail was wonderful. The property is a quick 5 min drive to Vail Village.
Lots of hiking nearby, and the Safeway grocery store is right down the hill.
The place was super clean and cozy for two families.
One thing to note is you can park only one car in the garage, and Rick was able to get us a parking variance to park our second car in the cul-de-sac. A police officer gave me a warning ticket, but Rick was able to speak to them to ensure we had a parking variance, so I didn't have to pay anything.
The elevator was unfortunately not usable during our stay, (may have been stuck on a floor and didn't want to mess with it) and it would have come in very handy for going from floor to floor.
Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful property. Will definitely stay in it again!

This house has amazing view, clean, and is very private. Easy and close drive to downtown Vail. Elevator was a huge help with family member that has a disability. Just need more detailed instructions posted when you arrive to be able to use it if the inside safety gate wasn't properly closed prior to arriving. Also, listing said three bedrooms and ad showed two queen bed pictures, but in reality it has one queen bed, library/study pull out couch, and a master king bed. Overall though, we loved the location and would stay here again!

House was off the beaten path.Phenomenal views of town and the mountains. House was a little dated and needs some renovations but overall a great place to stay And I highly recommend. Rick the owner is a terrific.

With a family that is scattered around the globe we wanted a house that would allow us space, comfort and a great location. 1410A was ideal.
Situated high with a view overlooking Vail, the 10 minute drive was certainly not a problem. We would definitely consider staying there again.

The house was beautiful. It had great views! It overlooked over all of Vail, quite beautiful, especially at night when so man Christmas trees were lit for the holidays, spectacular! The house was large, and quite comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms and three baths. There is a two person elevator which goes to each floor individually, which was quite nice. I would definitely recommend a stay there!

Great place with a gorgeous view. Very convenient to the Village. Large spacious living areas with private outdoor spaces. The elevator was a huge bonus for bringing up luggage and groceries. Also, The steam shower melted away the remains of the day very pleasantly. The owner was available, pleasant and gracious in his communications. We hope to stay here again when in Vail. Thanks Rick for sharing your home.

Nice property. Quiet, although highway noise definitely can be heard at most times. House is very large-- especially for "3" bedrooms.

The house and location are just wonderful.
Fully equipped, comfortable and spacious.
My only comment would be that they should consider installing ceiling fans wherever there are available outlets.
It got quite hot inside on warm days, and the air was stale.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. The tasteful decor with quality artwork throughout the home was a delight. The ktichen was well-equipped, and I was able to cook dinner without having to purchase additional cookware or utensils. The elevator was essential as the altitude makes stair climbing 3 stories sometimes difficult.
It is not convenient to the ski area and requires a 15 min. drive to the Vail Village area (5 minutes to the bus stop). But this was not a problem for us.
I frequently walked the mile or so to the West Vail shopping area (mostly downhill and very scenic) and had my husband pick me up after purchasing groceries.
Communication with the owner was accomplished by texting. Phone calls were not responded to by either the owner or proeperty manager. But once texting was begun, the owner was very responsive and helpful.
Overall, we were very happy with this beautiful home and our 10-night stay.

This home has amazing views, and the location was just about perfect for skiing at Vail. The Lionshead parking lot is 5 min away! The elevator came in handy for carrying luggage and groceries, so we appreciated that more than we thought we would. The owner was terrific and very responsive--much more responsive than the people that actually manage the property. I think my only request for a future stay would be to have more supplies in the kitchen. For such an incredible kitchen, we expected more with regards to the basics, but we would stay at this property again in a heartbeat!

Very nice home, amazing location. Parking is a little bit of a pain point. The description tells you to park in the street if you have a second car even though there is a two car garage. Do NOT park in the street, you will receive a ticket. You are required to park in the garage yet no garage opener is left for you to use. Being in a wheelchair and having to load and unload two times every time I left and every time I came back was a lot. The elevator was amazing for helping traverse the four different floors. The home was very accommodating for someone in a wheel chair. The guest floor doorways are a bit narrow but manageable. Overall this was an amazing place that we thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely stay at again.

We just had a wonderful few weeks at this home. The pictures don't do full justice to the amazing views of Vail and the Gore Range. This home is perfect for two couples. The third bedroom more of an office or sitting room but the pullout couch there is totally fine for a 1-2 night guest. There's also a full third bathroom by the kitchen that can easily be used by the third bedroom guest(s). The house has a lot of stairs but the elevator helps a ton with groceries, luggage, etc. The stairs aren't bad otherwise. I was also very pleased with the amenities provided. Even though we were staying two weeks, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms (except extra toilet paper and paper towels which is to be expected). We never had to buy anything extra and felt very comfortable there. We would absolutely rent this home again. It's a gem.

It’s a lovely house and we enjoyed our stay. There were six of us, two sisters and a brother, with our beloved spouses. We were all in our 70’s so the elevator was a huge blessing.

Awesome accommodations, great views!!!
Our family couldn’t have asked for better place to spend our family snow trip at. Place can easily accommodate large family with plenty of room, awesome kitchen to cook breakfast with views of town of Vail. Elevator helped speed up our checking in process and getting bags to all the rooms was a breeze. Owner was helpful and more then accommodating making us feel as we were in our own home away from home. Definitely we will be coming back to experience the best Vail has to offer. 10/10

Amazing Property With Outstanding Views
We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed this house. Short drive to restaurants and Safeway. Gorgeous views of Vail Village and the valley. Jake the manager corrected all the issues from the previous review and was very easy to communicate with. Everything in the house was clean and working. The elevator was a real bonus to take our luggage up 3 floors from the garage to the wonderful master bedroom with a steam shower and a hot tub. We would also like to thank Ann the booking agent for being friendly and courteous when taking care of some initial issues.
Rick Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Linn & Brian

Serious updating needed
The major structures in the home are beautiful. It has some great views. Property is a little hard to get to especially if there is a lot of snow (which we had). Suggest a 4 X 4 for everyone in the winter. The problems we found are as follows: Television are very old. Can't remember staying in a rental or hotel that did not have flat screen TVs. They even had VHS tapes to watch. The TV downstairs does not work. A cabinet door was off of its hinges. The chairs at the table are not stable. Knives are very old. Found mold on one of the spoons from the utensil drawer. This is really not set up as a full rental. It would appear that this is a house someone lives in but as an after thought they decided to rented it out on occasion. There are a lot of owner things laying around or they never cleaned out food and other materials from previous renters. We were not told or it was not pointed out that you could have only one car. There was nowhere to park our second car except on the street which cost me a $50 fine. There was a 2 car garage but there was already a car in the second stall. You cannot park in the common driveway. Doors stick in various rooms. Overall it was not as clean as I would have anticipated. We were told to put the garbage in trash cans in the garage, but there were none. Last but not least, the neighbor is a real Jerk. I would not rent this home again. I own rental property and we would never leave it in the condition we found this home in. Sorry for the negative review but I am giving you my honest opinion. It could be an awesome rental if some of these things are addressed.

Amazing views of Vail
We came here for a week and had the best time in this house. My young family found it very easy to be up and out of the house in time for ski school and early tracks just a short drive from the Lionshead Lifts and grocery. Great week thanks Rick
