Great location

The location was great. Sometimes a little noisy because they are renovating the elephant monument but it really is a stunning location. Staff were always helpful

Don't expect a Premier Inn! This is a very old historic building so don't expect too many luxuries. TV is tiny but I didn't use it, antiquated fridge in the middle of the room was noisy. Rooms could generally do with a refresh but they do have a certain charm

Emplacement idéal pour un citytrip

La situation; près de tous les sites intéressants + marchés et rue commerçante + bus touristiques + resto. Transport possible de l aéroport vers l hôtel (25€) ou en bus Alibus 456 (4€). La vue magnifique de la chambre sur la Piazza Duomo.

Great location but poor facilities

The location was great.

Dreadful smell in the bathroom, shower flooded all over the bathroom floor making it dangerous to walk on the slippery tiles.

Great value for money, unbeatable location, even though a bit dated and noisy.

Excellent location, beds were more comfortable than expected. Got a room with an incredible view, right onto the cathedral. Would probably stay here again.

Very noisy. Not only do you get a fair amount of noise from the outside, but internally as well. The walls in the rooms don't go all the way up to the ceiling, so rooms aren't properly 'sealed'.

VISTA FANTASTICA SUL CENTRO DI CATANIA

La posizione della camera con vista sulla cattedrale e sull'elefante simbolo di Catania. Ad una settimana dalla festa di S.Agata il balcone era come avere un palco a teatro per seguire i preparativi della ricorrenza con i movimenti delle cannelore e relativi cortei. La cortesia degli addetti alla reception.

Riscaldamento necessita di manutenzione.

Incredible location in Piazza Duomo, fair price, old but comfortable.

Incredible location just in front of the Duomo in the heart of the centro storico, in a quiet pedastrian street. Premises are old but clean and correct.

As some old buildings, it has some charm but some inconvenients, too, as the lack of elevator.

Super Lage direkt beim Duomo

Das Badezimmer war nicht komplett sauber und die Beleuchtung im Zimmer war sehr spärlich. Das Personal war zwar sehr freundlich aber sprach kaum englisch. Am störendsten allerdings war die laute musik des Restaurants unten bis fast Mitternacht.

Great location but needs some investment to improve the quality of the infrastructure.

Great location. You are really heart of Catania so can enjoy iconic must see buildings, old streets of Catania etc. I don`t think its noisy at nights as some people mentioned here at Booking.com comments. We also quite liked the approach of staff as well. They were really helpful and answered all of our questions.

They need to invest a little bit to improve the quality of the infrastructure. I think this hotel definitely deserves much more better quality rooms because of its location and its historic building. Especially the bathroom was very old, potentially from 1980/90s and a little bit not superb clean. Similarly furniture's were also quite old including bed mattress quality etc. They could have also provided one time use slippers which we had to walk with our socks and/or shoes in the room and the surface is the floor of the room is tile.

Perfekt Lage

Die Lage ist perfekt. Man hatte vom Zimmer einen Blick auf die Piazza del Duomo. Wenn man das Fenster geöffnet hat, konnte man die Straßenmusiker von unten hören - super Atmosphäre. Das Bett war bequem und die Ausstattung total in Ordnung.

Es ist schon alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Apsistoju jau ne pirmą kartą. Pagrindinis kriterijus, vieta. Labai patogu. Buvo galima palikti daiktus, ir pratęsti pažintį su miestu.

Nėra lifto (bet personalas puikus, lagaminus nunešė į kambarį). Norisi rimtesnių pusryčių, na bet čia juk Italija 🫣.

La ubicación y las vistas a la plaza es lo único que se salva

Es un hotel de ínfima categoría. No me explico las buenas notas de otros viajeros. Está todo tan viejo que no se sabe si está limpio o sucio. Nosotros por si acaso nos duchamos con chanclas. Pero lo más grave es que el recepcionista directamente nos tomó el pelo y nos trató como si fuésemos tontos. Muchos años viajando y nunca había visto tal desfachatez.

Posizione dell'Hotel eccezionale in quanto si trova sulla Piazza del Duomo di Catania; la colazione non è compresa nel prezzo della camera, ma non è un problema in quanto, uscendo dall'Hotel con pochi spiccioli, vi è l'imbarazzo della scelta per i Bar/Pasticcerie presenti a pochi passi.

La mancanza di ascensore e le scale non a norma per dimensione dei gradini!

La vista alla fontana dell'elefante (U Liotru) è fantastica. La posizione è ottima, si parla di centro storico. Il letto mi è parso molto comodo.

Short stay in Catania

Location, that’s the reason I picked this hotel, right on the Piazza del Duomo, with view on the square, good WiFi, close to good restaurants, equipment might seem insufficient but you get the charm of an historical building, staff was great and helpful, would definitely go them again for a short stay

The hotel is a bit dated, I knew that but went for the location, excellent choice if you want to spend a night or two in the Centro Storico

Un hotel in una delle piazze più belle della Sicilia.

Un hotel confortevole e soprattutto con una posizione fantastica,una vetrina su uno scenario fantastico che è la piazza Duomo di Catania,personale cordiale e gentile,le camere sono pulite e accoglienti,il prezzo in rapporto è più che conveniente,si ci sente immersi in una cornice ottocentesca di uno stile barocco siciliano. Ci ritorno sempre volentieri.

Hotel pulito e accogliente.Lo staff é super efficiente e allo stesso tempo molto cordiale e sempre disponibile ad ogni tipo di esigenza. La struttura é situata al pieno centro di Catania.

Struttura non adatta a chi ha gravi problemi di deambulazione per mancanza di ascensore.
