Being an old hotel the rooms were spacious with good facilities and even an unexpected bonus for our room, french doors out onto a large terrace.. This could be used by all guests as well as for breakfast.
Breakfast was of the usual standard. Great decoration even though the exterior was offputting
The hotel was a little tired and with minimal staffing. Some things did not work as they should but they were small details.

The hotel is within walking distance of the central train station, where I arrived via the Alibus from the airport.
The room was very simple but huge and clean.
Breakfast in the courtyard was good.
It was a bit hard to find late at night because it’s in an alley/side street, and not brightly lit, but to be fair, unfortunately my flight was delayed and I arrived VERY late.
The area has a few ‘interesting’ people hanging around as it’s fairly industrial and so close to the train station, but also lots of tourists so I felt relatively safe on my own.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff on duty were most helpful. I loved having the breakfast in the spacious courtyard.
The desk staff member who was on duty when I checked in, was most accommodating by lending me an electric adapter to charge my phone.
The location near the station made my train ride to Taormina so much easier.
I would gladly recommend you to others
The lift being out of order, however they did arrange for my luggage to be brought up to my room.

Reasonably comfortable hotel close to the main train station and within a very easy walk of the main town. Nice courtyard area
Delayed check-in - room wasn't ready. Advertised as having a bar but was told it only opened from 7pm-10pm. Tried to access a bar at around 7:10pm but there was no evidence of anyone running a bar. The room was quite dark even with the lights on
