Inside you will find a beautiful rock fireplace, open living room, dining room, and a fully stocked kitchen. Two private bedrooms offer a king size bed the other a queen. This cottage is located on 10.5 acres and just minutes from Wimberley. This is truly your perfect get-a-way! **The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24-hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. Arrive after four o’clock when it is convenient for you with an easy and contactless check-in and out process for our guests. A maximum of 2 dogs weighing 25 pounds or less are allowed at pet friendly properties. Please confirm the property you are interested in is designated as pet friendly prior to booking if you plan to bring your dog(s). Please note that a $25 per pet per night fee will be added to your reservation if you choose to bring your furry friend. Close to downtown Wimberley but quiet and peaceful. Easy travel to attractions. Bluebonnets were starting to boom. Comfortable with the morning and evening parade af deer.

Property was gorgeous. Loved out visit. Minor cleaning issues but nothing that couldn’t be taken care of by us. A beer can was not picked up by previous guest nor didn’t the cleaning staff find it. The hot tub was wonderful. Water pressure was low and temp didn’t get hot. On the last day, we lost hot water completely. I didn’t notify property manager until this review since we were leaving out. Really wished my husband and the dog could have come with us.

Property was better than expected. Spent time at Wimberly square. House, fire pit, hot tub and pool are all spaciously located around the immaculate property. House is what we expected from the photos and being located on a Ranch. Great get away for us!

We loved the property. In the morning we had around 20 deers come and go over a two hour period. They came really close to the front porch. I would recommend the house to anyone that wants to get away and discount from life!!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet that the area provided. It was very close to the downtown area. We enjoyed the nature of the place, with the deer and cows. We got to enjoy the hot tub as well. Very clean. We did encounter a couples of small scorpions inside the home as I noted. The kitchen could use update cooking utensils. But the biggest issue we had was the bathtub. The bathtub was very slippery. You should invest in a non slip bath mat. Overall a great experience with my wife and our favorite couple from London, England.

The second bathroom is not in the house. The pool house has its own bathroom. The pool is pretty far away from house, but was clean and functional. We used the hot tub mostly. It does get hot, but it takes several hours. Turn it on way before your ready to get in. Overall we would stay there again. It was peaceful and easy to get to.

The biggest issue is the house needs a deep cleaning
Shower curtain moldy, stained mattress pad, dead bugs,
Dirt in the corners. You can tell someone comes and cleans a little but for what you are charging it should be better than this.

Perfect spot for us. We were looking to get away and relax and read and catch up on some sleep. The pool was great to cool off. We really enjoyed spending the morning by the pool. The hot tub was a perfect way to wind down after dinner. We were able to find our team’s game on the tv. The grill worked great and we were able to grill up steaks and sliders. We had an amazing weekend.

The house was not very clean. Also bedding was terrible. Most of the pillows need to be thrown in the trash. Very thin blankets. The bed in the pool house is not the one in the pictures as advertised. It is a very small futon. Hard as a rock. Also no sheets or blanket for it. Only 2 pillows without pillow cases. The door was wide open to the pool house with the a/c running when we got there. It was very hot in there. The kitchen is not as well stocked as most houses I've rented. No small spoons so bring your own. The lights on the back porch area that point to the hot tub wouldn't work until around 3 am they turned on. So it's very dark in that area at night. Bring a flashlight. The tub could use some updating. Had to call to get more toilet paper. There was a partial in the house and a partial in the pool house. Not near enough for 5 women for 3 days and 2 night. But they did bring some the 2nd day when I called to complain. So bring toilet paper and paper towels. The shower in the pool house doesn't have a shower curtin so the floor will be soaked when you are done.There are also no towels in there so you have to take some from the house if you're going to shower out there. The walkway to the pool is a bit dangerous. One of the elderly ladies fell and broke her wrist so we had to take her to the ER in Luling. The pool was not very clean. I can handle leaves but not other peoples hair. Found a net to try and get it all out but the net was full of holes and dry rotted.

Very cozy location that is secluded. Very much enjoyed our time. Was 110° degrees getting there, then weather changed to 85° with nice cool breeze. Had a very nice shade by the pool and it was very comfortable.
Very nice and clean. Can see us definitively booking again when the weather is colder.
This was a blessing to get away for a while.

The pool was nice to have… but there are many things lacking at this property…
A complete set of kitchen utensils would have been nice.
Maybes call pest control for all of the spiders and even the scorpion that was in the house.

I’ll start by saying there was a ton of dog hair in this house. I don’t even know how this house passed as being cleaned. It was absolutely disgusting. It definitely had not been swept or mopped in quite some time. The amount of bugs (dead and alive) and spider webs in it was unbelievable. We were initially greeted by what definitely seemed to be a brown recluse as my child reached for the little bean bag bucket. We have 2 children (one 5 month old) and we found a ton of broken glass on the floor inside the house and on the porch! Apparently, the guests before us had a great time breaking alcoholic beverage bottles (found broken Mike’s Hard Lemonade bottle next to a chair) We swept just a small area to show how bad it was then sent it to mgmt. I don’t think the vacuum even worked and the more we vacuumed the living room rug, the more it smelled like wet dog. Our first morning I found every cooking dish I needed to use was put in the cabinet dirty/greasy. Unfortunately, we had 3 more nights left in the house.I was extremely irritated with the amount of money we spent for what we actually got. I sent all of these concerns to management and was told that the housekeepers have quite a job to ready a house quickly after a previous guest leaves the property in less than ideal conditions. Housekeeping did offer to come get the missed spots but this wasn’t a quick tidy up, more like months of neglect! And how inconvenient to have to leave our vacation house for a REclean.

I would say the property was accurately described. The location was great. Beautifully nestled back but not too far from the action at all. We enjoyed the pool very much. Plenty of towels. It was very nice and clean. Comfy beds. My favorite part was the abundance of deer. They were so fun to watch. Really no complaints at all. We enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend and would love to come back some day.

Our overall experience was so nice! It’s a well kept property that is very peaceful. Our 9 year old & the dogs really enjoyed themselves! It’s close to town as well which was great. There are a lot of creepy crawlers so beware, but that’s expected. Fun seeing the deer and enjoying nature. Bring your own measuring cups! We made pancakes and had to guess. We would come back for sure though!

Reviews listed are accurate. The property itself is beautiful! Very private. Front yard and backyard well kept. Lots of shade. We enjoyed watching the deer and the silver fox!! Lots of pretty wildflowers. It was very quiet except the day a crew was using chain saws to cut down trees a couple of properties down the road. Loved the pool! Very clean. Pool house has a covered area and a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Water used in this bathroom may be well water. Shower water had a strange smell. House is nice. Adequate kitchen area. Shower is as other reviews mentioned, needs new caulking in several areas and tub is slippery. So helpful to have a washer and dryer. Location is not far from town. Was great to have HEB to purchase groceries. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property on a secluded 10 acres. Very private. Pool and hot tub were a hit w/ the kids. Fire pit for smores and stars every night. Memorial Getaway weekend.
the downside: house is kind of small, only 2 beds/1 bath, but it worked out.
there is no dishwasher the washing and stacking of dishes on counter made the small kitchen kind of tight.
There was a load of linen and towels in the washer and the dryer which we didnt know about until day 2.
But overall the place was great! and only a few minute drive to get back to town.
We would stay again for sure.

This property is awesome! The property that the home sits on is gorgeous with all of the trees. The pool was clean and refreshing. I enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. My pups loved running around the back yard while I sat on the back porch. The front porch is large with comfy chairs where I enjoyed my morning coffee. The area was nice and quiet. My only negative would be that the dead bugs under the TV stands and in the corners need to be attended to along with the window sills. The bed pillows in the king bedroom definitely need to be replaced. Communication with the property owner was extremely responsive. I will most definitely book the property again!

The property itself and the location to town and the Blanco are fantastic; however, we had a few issues upon arriving. To be fair, we never reached out to the property mgr because they were things we could take of ourselves, but it was an inconvenience to us while on vacation. When we first got to the property, there was a giant water puddle in the middle of the hallway floor that I almost lost my footing on. We couldn’t find a leak anywhere so assumed it was from being mopped soon before we arrived. There were dirty linens in the washer and only two rolls of toilet paper. For a property that sleeps 6, you would hope for a better stock of tp. I had to drive to HEB after already crawling in bed for the night to get more for my kiddo so that wasn’t fun. The grout in the tile floors need to be deep cleaned. It is black and gross. The dining room furniture is falling apart and there’s a dining chair waiting to crumble under the weight of the next guest. The lighting in the smaller room isn’t great, but we brought book lights and clipped them to the bed so that helped a bit. And last thing, our family is used to plush beds and both beds were very firm so our sleep wasn’t great. Something to keep in mind and plan for if you like a softer bed. I would say the best part of this property was the privacy among the oaks, having a pool & hot tub, and being able to walk to the Blanco River.

The home was perfectly clean, plenty of towels, it was nice to have a dryer for drying bathing suits! The wildlife was beautiful, very nice of the hosts to leave deer corn in backyard, we really enjoyed watching the deer, cardinals, squirrels and even said good morning to some cattle! Wimberley downtown, blue water hole, grocery and shops are minutes away and very convenient. Hot tub inside pool didn't work but they offer a separate hot tub which had a perfect view! It was a nice, quiet, peaceful getaway!

This was a good experience. The outdoor areas are great. The furniture inside was not real comfy but the bed was very comfortable. The shower/tub area needed attention.

We enjoyed the fires (some dry wood provided would be an excellent addition), hot tub, deer, cows, and home in general. We loved Christmas time in Wimberley! *There is a coffee maker but no coffee provided. Thank you for sharing this lovely place for us to enjoy:)

Very quite property outside Wimberly. Many deer friends visited which added tot he relaxation. Very comfy beds, hot tub was fantastic. It was too cold to enjoy the pool, but I jumped in just for kicks. Awesome fire pit and most incredible were the trees. Great canopy on back yard and tree over the sidewalk was memorable. House was as described and perfect for our visit.

Beautiful property with lots of privacy. Very relaxing stay. Really enjoyed the house and the great amenities. My daughter loved seeing all of the deer each day in the yard.
