Clean room, nice location
Toilet in our room was unusable as location meant a seating position was impossible. Very poor.

Great location, very central to subway.
Rooms are compact. Although comfortable and have everything you need. Shower didn’t drain very well, had to have quick showers to avoid flooding the small bathroom.

Location, room size
We were on top floor, no lift, very stip stairs and wish that was mentioned as I have knee problems.
I have bites all over my body I don't know from what, maybe bed bugs?

Location was good!
Room was downstairs, very strong smell, bathroom was renovated but tap was leaking on floor, water in shower wouldn’t drain. Sub standard conditions

The room had everything we needed, hairdrying, wardrobe and hangers, TV, hot drink facilities, the bathroom was clean, with a good shower and the beds were comfortable. The curtain were also blackout, which was great.
The room was on the 4th floor and there was no lift, which might be a problem for some people. The hotel appeared to be in the middle of a refurbishment - it smelt of paint and there were some DIY things dotted about. Some of the doors and decor on the landings/staircase had seen better days. The staff did their job but not very enthusiastically.

Perfect location for all London sights
No lift & cleaning items left on stairs as decorating. would like to make own toast

The guy receptionist is so courteous and helpful. I appreciate him helping me explain about the private and common black taxi including the prices for me to compare.
My room is located at the 4th floor. Although the female receptionist offers the ground floor and I refused it, it would be better if I'm at the 2nd or 3rd floor instead.

What made the stay better was how kind the people were honestly. The lady at the reception was so charming!
It was all good!

Location
No mention in details of 8 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS TO CLIMB TO SINGLE ROOMS ON 4TH FLOOR WITH NO LIFT!! ....very difficult to climb with suitcase, especially with the elderly! A WARNING should be written into property details!
Only a couple of channels worked on tv!
Curtain across window had 3 hooks on so sunlight in room.
Decor was shabby.
Single rooms (cupboard size) had new bathrooms and decor which was good.

Location
Bedbugs during our stay, very itchy bites and now the bedbugs at our house. The mould on the walls, and the stains bed linen. Awful! And toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet (obviously the toilet seat was far too small) We booked a double room, but they gave us an extra single bed for some reason. It's very noisy place, you can here every single step and word of your "neighbours" coming back at 4 am. Do not recommend at all!

Modern rooms and bathrooms, good value for money, good central location and very nice staff
I'm very satisfied :)
the rooms on the fourth floor are very noisy. You can hear someone talking on the phone in the next room

The location is great. It's a 2 minute walk from Victoria coach and train stations.
The room was large, with a double and single bed. There was air con, a hairdryer, a safe, a TV, and the hospitality tray has a kettle with tea, coffee, and milk.
There were toiletries in the bathroom and a lovely shower.
I didn't stay for breakfast, but a continental one was available.
Both receptionists were friendly and helpful.

First impression in the lobby - the 2 sofas were stained all over, did NOT want to sit on them, or even put our bags on them; quite disgusting! The curtains in the room had some sort of white stain which looked like a bodily fluid; again very disgusting! The doona, under the covers, had a blood stain on it, visible when the light was behind it. The door to get into the bathroom was so narrow, we had to get in sideways?!! The door to the bathroom also could not be fully opened as it hit the bed. The toilet was too close to the wall so that when you sat on it, your knees nearly touched the wall. The shower door was also very narrow and had to go in sideways. We're not fat or big people so dread to think how anyone bigger could use these facilities. The hand held shower rose was fixed so close to the wall that you could not have a shower, hands-free, without touching the tiles. The bedroom should only have had a single bed in it, not a double - seems like the owners are just plain greedy :(

The location
It's more like a hostel than a hotel and at £230 for one night that's an expensive hostel. On check in we were asked if we would like breakfast. We had continental included and this was stated on our card when we checked in. We opted to pay for an upgrade so a cooked breakfast. However when it came to breakfast it was only continental. When confronting the receptionist about what I paid extra for she said it was for continental. I said it clearly states that this is included in the room rate. Eventually I got offered a refund (still pending)
The room on first glance was nice, modern and had two single beds and a double. However on closer inspection it wasn't so nice. Three out of the four plug sockets didn't work. There was a considerable amount of mould by the single bed. Unfortunately that was my child's bed, so he ended up sleeping in with us in the double bed. Not a great night's sleep. We wondered why the window had been left wide open and that was why. The shower door didn't actually fit so water ended up on the bathroom floor.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel/hostel. It's not great by any means. Shame really as it was a special occasion.

a nice rain effect shower head in the shower room
honestly, this place is a hovel! it’s dilapidated, tired and very shabby! it needs a fortune spent on it! There is no elevator and it’s a steep climb up four floors! The carpet is dated and threadbare in places. The stair bannister is paint - chipped very badly.

No lifts, but room was on very high and stairs were uncomfortable.

Good location (central London) and about 10 min walk to Victoria (station & underground). Staff were friendly enough and hotel was value. Room was clean, bed was comfy and shower was warm and powerful.
I was on the lower ground and property was damaged from damp. A few open doors and dehumidifiers gave it away + a slight distinctive smell.
