This is a beautiful property with stunning sea views. It is beautifully furnished hotel, it’s homely but has contemporary coastal decor. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. The staff are lovely and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. we ate in the restaurant one night, it is a Michelin restaurant and absolutely well deserved, the flavours were Devine. Thank you Idle Rocks we will be back, you are now our Cornish home :).
Nothing, we loved it.

It’s expensive but then it is very good

The location by the sea. The views from the room. The delicious food.
We thought, from photos we had seen, that our room would have two comfy chairs The variety of choice of HALF bottles of wine was poor. We found a broken half glass under a bed-side table which had not been spotted by house-keeping.

The staff were very attentive and very helpful, the food was excellent. the hotel is a little bit pricey but well worth it, especially for a special occasion.

The hotel has a splendid position which is matched by superb meals and excellent service. We had a Harbour View room, which was spacious and nicely furnished; we did indeed wake up to the sea lapping against the wall beneath our window! The bar service was also excellent; we never knew there were 3 different types of Manhattan cocktail, and now we do!
We were disappointed to find our towels (and the hand soap) changed every day, even after having left a note requiring them to be left. This is poor practice in a society aware of climate change and the need to conserve resources; we had expected more of a hotel thriving on the beauty of its natural, unspoilt, location.
