Very clean and comfy room.
The place was fine and comfortable, but the main issue was communication with the owner. It was almost impossible to reach them, which made things very difficult.
I had an accident myself on the bus I was from the airport and the road was closed 2 hours so our arrival time changed, and we wanted to let the owner know that, because of the delay, we would go straight to the city centre first and then come to the property later that evening, around 10–11 pm.
However, there was no phone number available to contact the owner directly. Also, this is not a self-check-in property, as the owner needs to be there in person to open the door for you, which makes communication even more important.
We also accidentally left a jacket behind that belonged to my dad’s friend of 40 years, so it has great sentimental value. We tried to contact the owner because we were planning to come back from Split to collect it, but again, it was impossible to get in touch. You have to contact Booking.com, who then have to contact the owner on your behalf. I contacted Booking.com 5–6 times and even asked if they could please share the owner’s phone number so I can conuthem myself but I was told that the owner does not share their number with Booking.com and that I would have to wait for them to get back to me.
However, nobody ever got back to me, and I am still waiting.
Overall, the place itself was fine but the lack of direct communication with the owner was a significant issue. 😅
