Within the complex, you'll also have access to a seasonal outdoor pool. This condo sits four miles west of downtown Gatlinburg, where you can stroll, explore the many shops and attractions, or take the tram up the mountain to Ober Gatlinburg. You'll also be only four miles north of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which is beloved for its hiking trails (including a portion of the Appalachian Trail), waterfalls, fishing streams, and plentiful wildlife. THINGS TO KNOW Firewood is not provided; guests can purchase it locally at gas stations or grocery stores. Fireplaces are only available for use from October through April. Due to the location, cell service is limited at this home. Free WiFi is only available at the clubhouse. This home is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The outdoor pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather-permitting. This property is managed by Vacasa Tennessee LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The condo was small but very nice and had plenty of room for our family of 5. The kitchen was functional. The kids loved to use the spiral staircase as a jungle gym. The place did have wifi despite saying that it didn't, so that was a welcomed surprise. The only annoyance was that the window by the downstairs bed did not have blinds, so if you want to sleep past sunrise, I hope bright lights don't bother you! The blinds were in the corner, so I guess that previous renters had broken it off. Overall, I would stay again. Oh, also, hope you don't mind curvy steep mountain roads. It wasn't bad, but it did take about 15 minutes to get down to the parkway.

The condo was a little older but was clean, and tastefully done. Mountain view wasn't at all, balcony faces the back of the building n trees are close n block everything, Gatlinburg is in the opposite direction, which the view is amazing if your in the front building.
That n there was no can opener in the room, there could have been a few more cooking pots n pans as well.
Overall I spent a week there n I definitely enjoyed the condo.

I recently had a rental experience that left a lot to be desired. From the moment we stepped foot into the property, we were greeted with dead, huge bees in the bedroom upstairs. It was not only unsettling but also a clear sign of poor maintenance. Additionally, as we made our way up the stairs, we noticed long hairs of all colors dangling from the railing, which was quite off-putting.
The condition of the bedding was another disappointment. The sheets and blankets were torn, giving the impression that they hadn't been replaced in a long time. It was not only unhygienic but also uncomfortable. Furthermore, we encountered stains on the carpets throughout the rental. It was clear that they hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, if at all.
The balcony, which should have been a pleasant spot to enjoy the outdoors, was cluttered with unusual and mismatched furniture. It felt like an afterthought and didn't provide the relaxing environment we were hoping for. Inside, we discovered that the toilet seat had no seal, which was not only unhygienic but also an inconvenience.
Given the state of the rental, we made the decision to leave after just five minutes. It was evident that the property had not been properly maintained, and we felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the overall experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here and hated we had to pack and go. We even got to see a family of bears one morning from our balcony. The only things is we needed was a bigger boiler in the kitchen and a can opener. And for our family of 5 the hot water didn’t last long for showers and baths. Which was a easy fix. Kids got theirs at night and my husband and I got up for an early shower.

Save your money and stay somewhere else. This place had an overall unclean/dirty appearance, a smell of smoke and a big white stain on the bedding when we arrived. The furnishings are from 1996. My kids went in and begged to sleep in the car and not the condo.

There was NO cable, NO wifi, NO internet. I was told there was a TV, which there was a TV there that was useless without any service to it! NO kitchen table! Couldn't use the indoor hot tubs or pool, I was told we could use the outdoor pool....it was 50 outside so the water was TOO COLD! I called at least 5 to 6 times to get these issues resolved and they NEVER were resolved! PLEASE find somewhere else to stay you will NOT be happy here!!

I’m just gonna say. The stay was awful nothing was there Entertaining the bathroom toilet ran all night. The covers on the bed was nasty. Had a kitchen nothing to eat on no table. The stairs was awful to climb to get to the room no elevator heart furniture to sit on. You get better service at a hotel than a condominium resort as what I supposed to have been in. No Jacuzzi as they advertised is outside by the swimming pool and was not working

if you are planning to stay here in winter time I don't recommend this place, first there is no hot water only for two people after two people taking shower hot water is gone. very outdated apartment , table was broken, bed very uncomfortable, we had no cable for 3 days after i made a big complain someone came out and fix it. after being there I started reading other people review and i notices this were the same complain , so bottom line is not a nice place for winter stay

At best, it was a place to sleep at night. Furniture was old & broken, area rug was filthy, the dining table from the pics had since been broken, discarded, but not replaced. Mildew on the shower curtain, you had to jiggle the handle on the toilet to get the tank to refill.

I Thought the room could us an upgrade. The toliet kept running and the Shower curtains had mold on them. I purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned it. The living room table was wobbly. The water heater had a pan of water under it and the shower hot water ran out after 2 showers. The mattress on the bed had a stain on it. When we arrived, we were greeted by a bear. She was digging in the trash for food for her 2 cubs. My room was directly
beside the dumpster so each time I went to my car, I had to be on the lookout for the bear. I turned the lights off when I checked out and started the dishwasher which was extremely loud. I left the garbage in the trash bag in the room because I did not want to risk seeing the bear.

The apartment was fine for a couple. I was on the 3rd Floor and no elevator which was a set back since we elderly. Overall I enjoyed it. The bears that visited was what made it. Seeing them in the wild. Just stay away!!

We will stay at the Summit again but next time we will book a Mountain View, this apartment didn't have any view of the mountains. The Apartment is very outdated and in need of many repairs, it's also 3rd floor up many stairs to the top, I got a very good workout going up and down the stairs. The day I arrived I saw a black bear, and kept seeing them my entire stay. There are lots of black bears hanging out in the bushes waiting to get into the dumpster. I watched a big mama Bear and cubs come right out from behind the dumpster, the apartments kitchen has a Dumpster View, so I got to see all these Bears. I watched one bear tear into the dumpster and started eating the trash, the dumpster got so overloaded and looked like it wouldn't stay latched down. I was too scared 😳 to take my trash out during my stay because of the mama Bear hanging out there. I'm sorry Vacasa but my safety comes first!! So other than the outdated appliances and bears, my stay was pretty chill. What I loved was how close we were to some nice hiking trails in the Great Smokey Mountains! I'm definitely coming back soon, but please tell someone to do something about the dumpster and that tourist shouldn't feed bears.

This is a ways up the mountain which is a beautiful (and a little nerve racking) drive. The chalet is a little more dated & not in the best of shape as it appears in the photos. Worst Stay EVER
There was NO wifi, NO internet, NO cable...just a blank TV to stare at! NO table to eat at....on the THIRD floor with NO elevator....indoor hot tub and pool CLOSED....also on top ofna mountain with TERRIBLE roads very steep! Their customer service sucks and will not return my calls! Please dont waste your time here!

The apartment was clean and stocked with most common essentials, the only bad things were no cable/wifi and beds could've used a mattress topper because you could feel the springs while laying down. Overall we had a pleasant stay, just a few minor improvements would make this place really nice.

Outdated property with material from 1996, the smell of smoke lingered through thr air and cigarette butts were on the the patio. After we spoke up, the company changed the description on the internet say no cable just a TV. There was a HUGE white stain on the bedding. Not clean enough to feel comfortable to sleep in, my kids wanted to sleep in the car.

Good condo for the price. Beautiful view and close to Ober Gatlinburg. We were there in winter and the pool was actually warm enough to enjoy I’m the snow. The two hot tubs were great. Fully equipped kitchen. Beds weren’t very comfortable. There’s no table to eat inside, so be prepared to eat on the couch with plates in your lap. There’s a small table on the patio.

The couch is nice. I’m glad I didn’t have to share it with the roaches in the kitchen. We saw 5 roaches total during our stay and had to keep the kitchen lights on the entire time to scare them off. I emailed Vacasa immediately after they scattered and sent the one photo I was able to snap and was told the property owner would be notified.
The photos in the listing are cute and the unit looks quirky and quaint online but it’s a bit of a letdown in person. There is a coffee maker but no filters. There is an ancient dishwasher but no detergent. The refrigerator is loud. The blinds are a pain to close because we had to manually turn them since the cord didn’t do anything.

Perfect location to unwind after running around downtown Gatlinburg. A little hard to navigate in the dark due to the winding, narrow mountain roads, but worth it in the end.

You need to be extremely careful because it is impossible to see around many of these curves and vehicles were constantly crossing the median. There were some nice views of Gatlinburg from the road and we did see a couple of bears which was a plus. The complex is quiet and everyone we ran into was polite.

This was an okay place. It was clean. It wasn't a good fit for our family. It wasn't very sound proof. The people downstairs complained we were too noisy no matter how hard we tried to keep the kids quiet. There were also some things in disrepair that didn't seem safe.

It did the job for one night. Chairs were wobbly. Chaise's cushions have seen better days. Loft bed ... you can feel the springs through the mattress. In a word, needs the furniture replaced. I don't expect new, but furniture doesn't need to be new to be comfortable. Clean enough, but not as clean as it should be.
