Bears Hideaway Family Retreat Bears Hideaway Cabin is a spacious 3 level cabin located in the lovely Sky Harbor Resort area at the end of a road and up a private driveway providing maximum privacy. An affordable 3 bedroom cabin with 2 bathrooms and a sleeping capacity of 8 people. Conveniently located only 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, only 8 miles from Gatlinburg, only 11 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Entrance and 7 miles from Dollywood your cabin is close to everything you will want to do. As soon as you step in to this quality cabin you'll be in our welcoming living room space complete with large windows, a gas fireplace, flat screen TVs and comfortable furnishings. From here you will access your cabin's outdoor deck where you can soak in the hot tub surrounded by the mountain forest. Your cabin provides you a full kitchen, dining area with all of your dining needs including utensils for our outdoor charcoal grill for barbecuing. For your entertainment your cabin also includes a pool table and several board games for your enjoyment. The master bedroom includes a king bed. The living room has a pull out sofa for extra guests. The first level has an entertainment room with a two bed bunk bed. Bears Hideaway also provides convenient in cabin washer, dryer and dishwasher amenities. This is the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway or an affordable family vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains. Bill and Nicole are available 24/7 for any inquiries Bears Hideaway does not accomodate pets nor smoking inside at this time.

This was the perfect cabin for me and my family. We extremely enjoyed our time there. The cabin was very clean and everything was neatly organized. The location was great and close to many attractions. We never had to drive more than 20 minutes to any destination. I will definitely reserve this cabin for my next trip to the smokys and will recommend it to all my friends and relatives. Finally, thanks to Michael for the great customer service and quickly responding to all my messages.

Perfect cabin for our family! My husband and our five kids fit comfortably with plenty of sleeping arrangements and so much space to enjoy. The kids ages 15-one month infant loved it so much they chose to stay at the cabin one night instead of going out. Easy checkin, very clean and simple checkout. Absolutely recommend this place. Location was perfect-right in the middle of pigeon forge and gatlinburg but yet secluded and private.

Nice cabin with plenty of space for our family of 5. Loved the ease of entry, not having to pickup or drop off keys. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking.

We were only there for one night but had plenty of space to spread out for our group. The bunk beds were built into the wall, roomy, and very sturdy. We weren’t able to use all of the amenities because of our own time constraints, but would love to return.

This cabin was so quiet and beautiful! Very very clean, had so many extras (really enjoyed the coffee!) and our hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had! We would love to come back for a longer stay one day!

Location to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was perfect! Hosts were fast in communication and very accommodating. The house/cabin had a great set up and entertainment for the kids/teens in our family.

Bears Hideaway is just what it says... A Family Retreat! When we arrived, the driveway did seem a bit daunting, but all three of our vehicles made it up and fit nicely in the space available (we had a big truck, a Honda Odyssey, and a sedan). Upon entering the first floor of the cabin, the "kids" (18 and 21-year-olds) went straight to the pool table and found a supply of board games as well. With a living room set, tv, and nice full-sized bunk beds in the adjacent room, they thought it was cool that they had their own "level of the house.", including the hot tub that was beside the front door (very nice and in an enclosed porch). We left them to explore their surroundings and went upstairs to the second floor (the main floor) to find a spacious, well-stocked kitchen, family room, and the main bedroom suite. The porch off the second floor was very spacious, with nice seating for everyone. Going up the final set of stairs to the third level, we found the second suite with another full bath (this level was open to the second level... you couldn't see into the bedroom from the living room below (so there's still privacy), but from the bedroom, you could look over the "half wall" to see down into the living room). We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated Michael's quick responses to any questions we had!

I’m going to start off by saying the pictures doesn’t do the property justice , It was even better in person ! Very spacious , secluded , private , beautiful views . Feels like you are all the way at at the top of the mountains and away from everything ! Check in was simple and easy . Michael’s communication was wonder he responded to every message quickly and was very helpful . The hill going up to the property is very very steep , definitely an adventure ! There are stairs that you can walk up instead and they are also very steep but once we went up and down it got easier so it wasn’t a problem at all ! (we walked the steps the first couple of days but drove all the way to the top the last evening) . I do want to point out that Uber eats was able to deliver food up to the cabin which was really helpful since we had already made it inside for the evening and did not want to go back out at the time . We all loved hanging out a spending time together we but also loved that fact that we could separate an have our own space which was more than enough ! My only small complaint is that the hot tub could have been cleaner along with a few other areas but other than that everything was wonderful! I would definitely book again !

I stayed 1 night here with my 2 children and 4 of their friends in celebration of my son’s 13th birthday. The driveway was a feat considering all 7 of us were in a van but we made it! The kids and I never had a dull moment and the pool table was a huge hit! Everything was extremely clean and the contactless check in was a breeze! I even reached out to the owners a few hours before checkout because I was accustomed to seeing a long list of to-do items before leaving and couldn’t find one anywhere. I was so pleased to hear they only requested we wash the dirty dishes and they would take care of the rest! They truly made the experience a relaxing one and after juggling 6 12-13 year olds, this mom was relieved!

We love the view and the privacy of the place but it wasn't clean. There was so much dust over everything and the wall outside beside the hot tub had bees buildings in it .We couldn't use the grill because it was so dirty.We couldn't enjoy the pool table because the room its in is so small you couldn't make your shots for hitting the walls.We will not be renting from them again i hate saying that but out of all the years ive been renting places is the worst.

We vacation in Gatlinburg at least once a year. Location was fine, driveway was a little "exciting". We had a little confusion with the main light/fan however with a quick response and instruction for the owner, we were able to figure it out. Overall we had the experience we expected.

My family enjoyed the privacy and space of this cabin. Our teens played countless games of pool and we all relaxed in the hut tub each evening. The host was very helpful and quick with replies. Would recommend this cabin!

What a beautiful place for a getaway weekend. Great location up in the mountains and not far at all from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The property manager, Michael, was also very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Family get away. Cabin was great. Driveway is not for the weak, but we were aware that it was steep.

It's nice. Well stocked with everything we needed. Our complaint was that the lock system did not work. It worked when we initially arrive, but never again. When we returned from a day out, it was dark and raining....but we could not unlock the door to get in. I contacted the owner and after several tries, he was able to unlock the door remotely from wherever he was. There were 3 lockboxes attached to the wall. I asked if there was a key in any of those boxes. He said yes and gave me a 3 digit code. But those boxes needed a 4 digit code. Then he mentioned another box somewhere else that did take the 3 digit code....all of this is going on in the rain with crying children. That lock system is my only complaint.

Was a nice cabin on a very steep, winding road quite far in. The driveway was very steep as well. Once we got there it was well laid out and a nice place to stay

Cabin was exactly what we were shown in pics. Driveway was scary as all get out coming and going, but I’m a chicken lol. When we arrived code on door didn’t work, but Michael was very good about telling us another way to gain entrance. Code never worked for us the entire trip, but that was okay because we had the alternative way in. Once inside everyone was excited to see “their” places. There were three issues and they were dealt IMMEDIATELY. The fireplace in living room was broke, gas grill was out of propane and there was only 1 dish cloth. Nothing that we couldn’t of lived without to begin with. Property is within range rather quickly to everything. I’d recommend this cabin based solely on the customer service Michael provided. When you correct a problem as quickly as he did that shows a lot.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Isolated (you could barely see a couple of other cabins through the trees), pool table, hot tub, plenty of utensils to cook with and easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The description was right, that is one steep driveway, but our car managed it with no issues! Great time, great place! Highly recommend!

This property was everything as advertised. It was perfect for our family of 7 with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the Gaitlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Centrally located between both! Will definitely be visiting again!

Family vacation
We had a great time here! Super easy to book! Great hosts!! Great communication!! Driveway was steep which we was told about ahead of time, no problems getting up it in either vehicle though! You have the option to park at the bottom and use the steps to walk up if you rather.. Wasn’t a big deal to us at all! Place was clean and ready to go! Everything worked and they had everything we needed!! 5 stars all the way!!

Perfect hideaway
My family had the greatest trip! We got a visit from a baby bear on our last day, definitely an experience to remember. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. The driveway is a steep adventure, I do recommend 4WD if you have the option, we did make it with our RWD truck tho. Excellent stay!

The Most Amazing Stay!
The pictures online of this property do not do it justice! It is absolutely beautiful, warm, and inviting. The cabin was spotless and well stocked with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. It was so nice to be so secluded and just be able to relax with my family. The teenagers loved having their own space on the bottom floor and the little ones enjoyed the very top floor. Plenty of some for our family of 7! The owner was available 24/7 and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and check in/out couldn’t have been easier. Highly recommend this cabin! It allows for a private getaway and you’re still within 15-20 minutes of hiking trails and Gatlinburg attractions. Perfection!

Great property!
Our stay was great! The property was centrally located to all the touristy things we wanted to do, but also quiet and private, away from all the hustle. Very clean and comfortable. Yes the drive is steep, but you're in the mountains and everything is steep. Our mini van managed fine. We had one issue with the air conditioner, management responded promptly and everything was resolved. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great cabin getaway
A fun and relaxing stay. The driveway is a little scary but doable. The trees and bushes are very overgrown from the photos. We enjoyed playing pool and the hot tub. Coffee on the porch was also lovely. Lots of good amenities and plenty of space. Great place to stay!
