Had a 3 day weekend stay over Labor Day weekend. The host was very descriptive about the check-in process, which made things very easy. The unit was perfectly clean and had all the amenities that we needed for the stay. The garage is small, so we mainly parked on the street (out of convenience) but it was nice knowing that it was an option in case there was not anything else avaliable. The location is ideal for beach goers and is reasonably quiet. It's a little far to walk to 2nd Street, but it can be done. It's a short drive or Uber away. We found Carmen to be a very responsive and gracious host. I would definitely recommend for couples looking for a reasonable place to stay close to the beach. Not the best for nightlife, but better for relaxing and quiet.

I just have to say this was one of my favourite VRBO experiences! This property was inviting and welcoming. The apartment was so clean (the most important thing for me!) and stocked with anything we could have needed for our stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Carmen went above and beyond to be accommodating during our stay. We enjoyed exploring the area. We had easy access to the beach and enjoyed watching both the sunrises and sunsets. There is easy access to shopping and restaurants and we enjoyed trying some local spots, which were great. We were also able to have groceries delivered through UBER, which was nice since we didn’t have a car with us. We would 100% rebook this location in the future. first impression: Narrow entry, steep stairs leading directly into bedroom, bathroom, living area.... definitely NOT for children ... In fact this seems dangerous for any age. The apartment is exceptionally clean, the kitchen and bathroom have everything you need, the bedroom is small but the mattress is comfortable. There is only one very small couch for seating. one whole corner has a wood burning stove ? this could be used for a chair ? However, it suited our needs for three days and Carmen is very accommodating.

We mainly stayed for couple of evenings and the place is super quiet unfortunately there is no central A/C unit so all windows must stayed open and that means that neighbors can hear everything so no privacy in regards.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is super cute and cozy. It’s on the Peninsula, not Naples Island, but I think that ended up being better. It’s quieter, right by the beach, a cafe, liquor store, kayak rentals, etc. Carmen provides everything you’d need for a comfortable beach stay (towels, chairs, etc.) and we had a great experience!

We have used this property before and we were certainly exceedingly pleased, yet again. We arrived quite late but the process for getting the keys and being able to get to bed was ideal. We had a lovely week at this location and we would gladly recommend to our friends and families. Thank you.

Hi, we were travelling down to see family, needed a place to stay. This place was amazing, so cute inside, comfortable and located between the bay and the beach boardwalks. Cute little coffee shop near by; feel so private yet convenient to get to grocery stores etc. Parking space/garage provided. Carmen was super responsive and great to work with. We will be back :)

Thought I was staying in Naples on Treasure Island so was surprised that the address that was given to me the day before I left was on the peninsula. My intent was to be close to the family on Treasure Island. Super cute apartment however! I enjoyed my stay there and loved the decor. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at this property. They had extra toiletries in case you forgot something, a booklet with their recommendations, and even spices if you would like to cook! It’s the little things that really make your stay worthwhile. I will say, if you book this location be sure to rent a compact car. The garage space is tight.

Hosts were great with communication. The property was spotless and comfortable; they very obviously put time ad effort into providing exceptionally good service and all you need to relax. I spent two weeks here. Markets are close, good restaurants are close, beach is steps away so when trying to mix a little downtime in with work obligations this was the ideal spot. I highly recommend staying here. Added bonus in a beach community - the garage. I highly recommend this property.

Loved staying here in this cute apartment. It had everything you could possibly need and more. There are lots of thoughtful touches in the kitchen and bathroom. It was very clean, and the bed was very nice. "Cozy" in a description can often mean cramped, but not in this apartment. It's a well laid out plan, and each room has a comfortable amount of space (including the bathroom). The garage was a special bonus. The last time I stayed on The Peninsula, street parking was a headache. Not this time! Carmen was great - she knew when to contact me with the information I needed. Check in and check out were super easy.

This property is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. It was perfect for my husband and I to have a nice getaway weekend. Host has taken the time to think through all amenities that might be needed.

We stayed for 4 Nights on the peninsula and had a wonderful time. It was so nice to have a garage to park the car! We opted to take bikes and scooters most everywhere to get the most of the beach and area. Carmen was very responsive and helpful. The place had everything we needed to get by and even a few extras! I’d recommend staying here 100%!

Host has tucked in a great many items you may need for creature comforts! Cozy living room, comfortable dining bar, well-stocked kitchen, recycle bin, spotless garage and great bathroom are just some of what we appreciated. Light-filled space and quiet surroundings! Just splendid!

The property was very clean, nicely decorated and steps from the beach and beautiful marina. Host made check in and out and so easy and responded quickly to every communication. Lots of little extras left for us. Parking is a huge bonus ! Location is fabulous , easy to get to good restaurants and site seeing places.

The place is clean and cute. It works great for 2 people with the cookware in the kitchen for small meals. The shower is a tub shower and their is no clothes washer or dryer. We missed that in the add. But found a great laundry in Long Beach and was a drive from the unit. 2nd street is within walking distance and was a pleasant walk at night. Grocery stores and other shopping and more resturants was over a bridge and we rode our elect. scooters to the mall and we were able to keep the elec. Scooters in the smaller garage along with other belongings to keep out of the bed of the truck. Parking in the alley is tight but we were able to park in front of the unit while we were there. This is a great place decent location and we would rent it again. The owner communicated through VRBO messaging and has a good system in place for check in and out. Simple and pleasent. My husband and I stayed here when visiting family in California. This was the perfect retreat. The property was immaculate and had everything, I mean everything you might need. Communication with Carmen was quick and seamless. The property was right next to the beach and there was even a fantastic little restaurant with tons of options for people with dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this property for a couple looking for a quiet getaway.

Good property very well kept. A bit of an ant problem in the kitchen and bathroom. The neighborhood is interesting, but the beach was wrecked by a storm so is not useable at this time.

Spent the weekend here with a friend, we took a morning walk along the beach and through the neighborhood. We went to downtown long Beach for a night out and brunch in the morning. This spot is located in just the right spot to enjoy all long beach has to offer.

Wonderful, quiet property.

Everything about this rental was amazing. Perfect location - we could hear the water from the bedroom at night, and we were literally steps away from the water on either side. Having dedicated parking was a life saver! The apartment was clean and had everything that you may need - from spices and cooking supplies to extra toiletries that you may have forgotten. There is a cafe, Vibes, that has great drinks and food right down the street. My husband and I appreciated every little touch that the owner provided, and we would definitely stay again!

We really loved this place and it’s location. Far enough away from the busy downtown LB area, but close enough to leave 10 minutes before our scheduled adventures. The place was very well stocked with everything from kitchen appliances to beach towels, sunscreen, and more. The garage is a HUGE plus because parking in the area is bad if you come back anytime passed 5pm. The bed is on the firm side, but didn’t bother us much at all. The neighborhood being quiet was the best. Would happily stay here again

Arrived to location tucked at the back of home without AC and cold bottled water for guests. All windows did NOT have any views out except trash cans and roofs. It was noisy with construction and crying child. Beach was torn up and dirty; host did not inform us as seniors and they lived down the street. This location was not worth the cost for value!

Check-in and check-out process was simple and clear. The apartment was very comfortable and provided a lot of privacy. Everything was laid out beautifully. We unfortunately didn't have a chance to use the kitchen since we mostly ate out with friends, but it would have been great to use if we were planning to stay longer. There happened to be a heat wave when we were staying so it did get a bit stuffy, but the fans helped. I liked that there was a garage since parking in that area can fill up pretty quickly and it's a pretty narrow space. We personally struggled a bit to get into the garage since the curb is quite steep, but it wasn't a big problem.

Everything was amazing from check in to check out. They even had a book of things to do in the area and home. I messaged looking for best place to fill up(gas is expensive) and they responded in minutes. Best host so far

We came to Long Beach to go ocean fishing and wanted a place that had secure parking. This apartment fit the bill. We arrived late in the day and with perfect directions on how to enter, we were quite surprised at how lovely the apartment was. It's nestled at the back of the main house and so the view is of the neighbors backyards. You are not going to see the ocean from here, but it's a short walk to the beach. There were some rude people that live/stayed in the main house, as we were greeted with a poopy diaper and clothes on the walk back to the apartment after fishing. The smell was overwhelming even over our own fishing smell. The items were not picked up until late the next day. It was just odd that someone would throw those things onto the walkway. In no way does this reflect on the apartment itself, just something to be aware of. The most interesting part of the stay was waking to the neighbors doing their gardening at 7ish in the morning. We weren't quite ready to get up, but it was just too odd having the neighbors right there at the window. I'm just not used to living so close to neighbors that you could pick tomatoes from the bedroom. The apartment can get a bit stuffy so the fans are very helpful. The amenities provided were everything you may need in an emergency. The kitchen is well appointed and there are enough cooking items to prepare a nice meal. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of providing to go cups for coffee. I certainly used one of those when we left for the docks. If you are looking for a comfortable place near the beach this apartment will not disappoint.

This property was steps away from both the Bay and the ocean in Belmont Shore. We brought lots of "toys" ( bikes and Kayaks, etc) so the one care garage came in very handy. The neighborhood was clean and quiet, and the property was clean and bright. I appreciated the little touches of coffee pods and spare toiletries for forgotten items. Our host was very responsive to any request we had, We are hoping to book again next summer.
