During the month of October all rental nights are Holiday/Weekend rate pricing. No discounts of any kind except for return guest or extended stay of five nights or more. 4 people is max for this cabin. 2 night minimum -- Check In 4:00 Central Check Out 11:00 Central Time. Pets (a limit of two) are allowed in this cabin with an additional cleaning fee of $100.00 as long as we know about the pet(s) at reservation time; either by phone or by using the notes section on the online booking reservation form. Failure to notify management that a pet is coming into a pet friendly cabin will be treated the same way pet (s) would be in a non-pet friendly cabin. This would include potential early departure as well as additional cleaning fees. By rental law management MUST know about all pets in residence. Cabin was also known as LuLu's Lookout.

The view is amazing, but the serenity is even better. Most of the time the only sound you hear is the wind rustling the trees. Tons of space for my wife and I (and our tiny puppy). We'll be back - there would have been space even with 2 more adults. Convenient to Mentone and down to Valley Head.

A little hard to find if you are following a GPS., which we did. But following written directions worked well. Nice property and beautiful view.

We really enjoyed the cabin. The beds were quite comfortable. The view was beautiful. We didn't have time to explore the town but what we did see it seemed like a nice place.

The cabin is as described. Its very comfortable and the views are awesome. Carolyn, the hostess, is very helpful! The main activity in the Mentone area is hiking. Desoto Park is setup well for hiking. Don't think of it as a nice walk. The trails are very steep in places and covered by roots and large rocks. It was strenuous for me at 72. All and all a good trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Hill. It was the perfect weekend getaway, although I wouldn't have minded staying longer. The cabin had everything we needed to unwind from normal life. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The view was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be looking for our nest opportunity to rent this cabin again in the future.

This cabinhas it all. It's very spacious and comfy with lots of room to sit, cook, and eat, and it's very nicely and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped. The view was spectacular! it's also well insulated and we were warm even when temps were in the single digits! The managers of the property were incredibly helpful, flexible, and communicative! We loved this place and would love to return. oh! and it's less than a mile from downtown Mentone! Everything about Sunset Hill was just perfect.

The experience was so great. We had the best time. Mentone is like staying in a hallmark movie. The cabin is absolutely perfect and has all the amenities you would ever need. It is right around the corner from the main road of Mentone as well. Visiting all of the little shops and places made memories that we will never forget. We can’t wait to come back next year to stay at this cabin again! We love Sunset Hill!

We loved staying at this property! The views from the back deck were incredible. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfy and cozy. It was a great location for accessing DeSoto Falls and State Park. Can't wait to visit again!

I definitely recommend this listing for your stay in the Mentone/ DeSoto State Park area. The rooms and layout are as shown. The kitchen is well-equipped and appliances new, making cooking and eating in easy. Evenings on the deck were great and the yard was spacious. Take -out from the Mentone Market was good, and we picked up some veggies and meat at the Farmer's Market in town on Saturday morning. I recommend a visit to the local art gallery on HWY 117 right in town and Miracle Pottery about 2 miles down HWY 117 toward Valley Head.
