Enjoy your stay at Hilltop Hideout of Helen, which is located directly above the famous Georgia Mountain Coaster inside of Helen, GA. This cozy chalet is the perfect destination spot for a family or friends looking for an Alpine Adventure in a Bavarian Themed Town in Appalachia OR if you are looking for a "flexcation," there is also an office space for working while still getting away! Appreciate the beautiful hilltop view on a large patio while indulging in nature and your favorite beverage. Take advantage of the multiple attractions, state parks, wineries, breweries, food, fishing, tubing, and family friendly activities. Don't forget to visit a few favorites: Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Yonah Mountain, Cool River Tubing, Helen Waterpark, Alpine Mini Golf, Dukes Creek Mines, Woody's Mountain Bikes, Alpine Fun Factory, Hardman Farm State Historic Sight, Charlemagne's Kingdom, and more! We own 4 chalets on the hill. The other 3 sleep 12. Message me if you would like to check availability on all 3. We have been a popular destination for family reunions and wedding parties. Note, we named these Hilltop Hideout because they are located at the top of a hill. Walking to town is an option (my kids always choose it), but it is steep. Plan accordingly.

The home is beautiful and clean. It’s right up on a mountain in the center of town. We really enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Helen.

My friends & I were looking to get our Christmas Spirit on in Helen!! This house was perfect for our long weekend stay.
Karen had everything we needed--which was great because we flew from Philadelphia to Greenville & drove 2 hours to Helen.
The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean & had the supplies we needed (hand soap & tp). The towels were of nice quality!!
The house was stocked with items we needed in the kitchen, including dishwasher tabs & paper towels.
The living room even had a lit Christmas tree. We watched Christmas movies when hanging at "home" and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't want to leave!
We hope to return-- maybe next time for Oktoberfest!!

The property was an excellent place for our Thanksgiving celebration with family from different states. The accommodations were perfect, lots to see in Helen, wonderful restaurants and beautiful weather.

Perfect place to stay for the wedding in near by Sanctuary Estates. Cabin was awesome spacious and very clean . Owner was extremely helpful. Will definitely book this one again

This is a great place to stay, we stayed so we could attend Oktoberfest in Helen. The property was clean, everything was neat in the house. This house is within walking distance to all of Oktoberfest events, there is just a bit of a hill to walk back up.
If you are a picky sleeper, you should note the beds and pillows are very hard, its hard to get comfortable on them, similar to sleeping on the floor.
You must bring your own bath soap and shampoo as none as provided as with other VRBO's I have stayed at.
The patio has a few chairs, of which a few are broken. This property does not have any amenities such as a fire ring, pool table, or hot tube like the others in the area. I did not mark off on the review as the price I paid was in line with the expectations.

This was a great place to stay for our family vacation! Wonderful communication with the host, and the house was clean, bright, and had everything we needed (including games and books for the kids)! The hill that the house is on is very steep but it was no issue to drive down into town. Thank you Karen!

We came for Oktoberfest and it didn’t disappoint. Wow what a beautiful cabin! It’s more than a cabin, it’s home away from home. Clean, bright, and everything we needed. There’s nothing lacking about this property. Loved the back deck! It was fun listening to the kids on the mountain coaster scream as they went by lol. We floated the river and enjoyed so much Helen has to offer. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great communication with Karen. House was perfect. The hill it sits on top of is STEEP! It is not ideal if you plan on drinking in town and walking back. Great location if you plan on driving everywhere.

We were welcomed by a generous text from the owner giving us a warm welcome and letting us know if we needed anything she was available. Everything was perfect! Not once did we need anything because it was all laid out and put together as soon as we arrived. The entire house was clean, it was right in town, had everything, and it was very comfortable. It is a new spot for us as a whole. We’ve come home to brag at how wonderful it was having a perfect stay along with the memories we made! Will go back again!!

We stayed here for a family wedding and the house was perfect. The home has everything you need for a long weekend. VERY clean home. Location is accessible via walking or short drive to town of Helen. If you have a group, there are three of these gorgeous homes in a row.

My wife and I wanted to visit Helen for our anniversary. We could not have found a better place to stay. The house was terrific, very clean, and the owners were very responsive and kind. The location could be within walking distance of the central part of Helen, but it is up a good size hill. So, we drove to the bottom and walked around from there. Such a great experience; we will be back!!

We loved every minute of our stay here. It was priced reasonably and Karen was wonderful! She provided quick responses and allowed us to check in much earlier than 4pm check in. Chalet is in a great location and my kids loved watching the mountain coaster which was close by.

This was our first trip to Helen, Ga and we were so happy to find a place large enough for our group so close in town. This place was the perfect location for us. There was enough space for everyone, easy host to work with. We fell in love with the town. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying with this host again.

Very clean and roomy. Everything was as detailed in the ad. If I could change one thing, I would put blinds on the downstairs windows and door. But aside from that, top notch and the owner was wonderful to work with!

The home is charming! Well designed and well appointed. The bedrooms are generously sized, ideal for longer stays. Great location too - nice quiet street and absolutely gorgeous in the fall. The homeowner was also very available & responsive for questions. Great stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, spacious and extremely clean! We rented all 3 of this hosts cabins that were next door to each other for a wedding (all the cabins were amazing). It was so convenient to be so close to each other yet have our own space. The house is just up the hill from the cutest little town. Karen the host was so wonderful and accommodating, responded super quickly to questions. I highly recommend this hilltop paradise and will definitely be back for another stay.
