Spacious, light-filled Carmel home with huge hot tub & panoramic VIEWS of ocean + forest. • Indoor-outdoor living at it's finest: 3 balconies with epic 🌅, plus patio & BBQ. • Excellent privacy. ENTIRE PROPERTY on 1/3rd acre lot is all yours. • FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN, with espresso machine & every spice from Anise to Za'atar. 🥘 --- ROOMS --- Master bedroom (on main floor - no stairs needed): CAL KING bed; fireplace; two-person shower; private balcony with jumbo jacuzzi & stunning ocean views. "The Sunrise" bedroom: Queen bed, private balcony with forest views and backyard access, plus optional desk with monitor and ergonomic chair. "The Garden" bedroom: Queen bed, optional work-from-home station or baby crib. Family Room (ROOM INTERIOR): • French Doors opening to balcony with sweeping views of Carmel hills and the beach. • Inside is 60" Smart TV with Chromecast, Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube TV subscription. • Room also has extra cozy sofa that opens into Queen-sized memory foam mattress. Family Room (BALCONY): • Al fresco dining with comfortable seating for 6 people. (Table can fit 8 if you want to get cozy!) • Electric BBQ, all grilling utensils provided. • Lounge area on corner sectional sofa. Kitchen (main floor): Stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, touch-screen Breville Barista Deluxe espresso machine, gas stove, oven, microwave, double-door refrigerator with ice maker, freezer. — FAQ — Q: What is the coffee situation? A: We have a very high-end espresso machine (with superb milk frothing), a conical burr coffee bean grinder, a French Press, as well as standard coffee maker and a tea kettle. We promise satisfaction for your caffeine fixation! ☕ ... Q: What's the pet policy? 🐕 A: We allow up to 2 adult dogs of any breed or size. (No puppies!) We do have a standard Pet Fee of $200. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. And your dogs will 💛 our expansive backyard, with easy direct access from both bedroom balconies! ... Q: Can I bring the kiddos? A: Children ages 2-12 are generally not allowed due to the fine art in the house and other breakable artifacts. However, we DO welcome babies and teenagers. For babies — we also provide a very nice crib, and a baby gate by the stairs. ... Q: Can you hear noise from Highway 1?” A: No, most days highway noise cannot be heard. There are some very rare exceptions, but day-to-day traffic is generally not audible inside the house. ... Q: Is Highway 1 within view of the house? A: No, thankfully it is not within view. All you will see is the lovely Carmel forest, the ocean, the Carmel Valley hills, and Point Lobos in the distance. 🌲⛰️🌊 ... Q: Do you ever allow events? A: YES. We welcome small daytime events, including baby showers, bridal showers, small birthday parties, and micro-weddings. 👶👰🎂 - If *all* the guests for the event are already on your overnight reservation, there is no need to request special permission. - If there will be additional daytime guests (i.e. people who are not on the overnight reservation), please do reach out to us at time of booking. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely rent again if back up in Carmel. Everything was amazing and the communication with the owner was fantastic! The attention to detail and the care that was taken for my family was unlike any other house I have ever rented. Loved everything!

this house is truly amazing! the views from the top floor are so beautiful and expansive that i found myself spending every spare moment in the armchair mesmerized. the kitchen is extremely well equipped and it was a joy to prepare dinners there. i highly recommend trying out the espresso machine, delish! hot tub at sunset is also not to be missed. the owner is very communicative and friendly. everything about this house is incredible and it gets my highest recommendation!

We felt very welcome at this property. It did not feel like a short term rental. It felt like someone welcoming you to their home. The care they took showed the are dog people and wanted the pet to have a nice time also. Very nice indeed. Beautiful home. Wonderful views.

This lovely tri-level beauty is minutes away from all charming Carmel offers. The home was very well appointed with a cooks’ kitchen and very thoughtful extras for the gals. We especially enjoyed the three outside decks each with its own unique view of Monterey Bay.

We can't say enough about how wonderful our stay in this beautiful home was. From the moment we arrived, the owners' hospitality was so warm and welcoming. The home is comfortable and beautiful. There are many comfortable rooms to live in and all have magnificent panoramic views. The hosts left every amenity for us that we ever could have wanted. No wonder they are super hosts! We hope to return to this home on our next visit to the West Coast.

I cannot say enough about this listing. First, it is a stunning property situated on a hill overlooking the Carmel coastline. The place has it all - a state of the art kitchen, a balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the view and centrally located within just a few minutes from Downtown Carmel. Our hostess was very attentive to us and was a delight. It was a memorable experience to say the least.

This house is an excellent choice very quiet, very private, and an amazing house. You're expectations will be exceeded. Owner is very good with communication and ease of use. There are three separate back decks and all are incredibly private/neighbors can’t see you. All overlook the valley down into Carmel and the view from the top floor has beach/ocean views. Second, our host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We were staying here on the first leg of our honeymoon and she left a full on gift bag of snacks and other goodies, put matching robes for us in the bathroom, and left flowers and homemade brownies in the kitchen. Marielle was SO responsive whenever I had questions about the house or wanted recommendations about where to have meals. Just blown away by the hospitality. If and when we are back in the area we will 100% stay here again!!

Family reunion- adult kids and parents
Host was super responsive with answers to our questions. She provided so many nice touches-amazing welcome bag of goodies including treats for our dogs! House was wonderful - views from huge living room windows and from deck for meals and another deck for hot tub. Kitchen had everything including espresso machine. Location was ideal for trips in area up and down the coast.

Epic Views, Gorgeous Home, Dog Lovers!
We had a wonderful stay with our friends and dogs. The home is very well appointed and looks out over the entire valley and Carmel beach. Relax in a comfy chair and watch the clouds and birds. Marielle and Jamie are the kindest hosts - they clearly love hospitality and we felt so welcomed at the home. The neighborhood is peaceful, the gardens and trees are beautiful. The hot tub literally is the largest you’ve ever seen at a home! The home is a quick drive into town (not walkable)! Two of us worked from home and the internet is perfect for multiple zooms simultaneously. Would love to stay here again, thank you Marielle and Jamie!

Super well appointed, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, lots of towels, toilet paper, paper towels (I know this sounds weird but after staying in many short term rentals, this is a big deal). We have already been in contact with the owner to rent this place again. Highly recommended!!

We spent a lot of time in the living room gazing out the wall to wall picture windows at the awesome view. The house is very, very nice and everything we needed was well stocked. Beds are very comfortable. Marielle was the perfect host. No one was ready to leave when our visit reached its end.
