Customer service lacking and safety concerns

Check out with simple and the room was clean normal standard of what we expect when staying at a Marriott hotel

The location did not make us feel safe or comfortable. We arrived a little after 11:00 I walked in the hotel while my husband stayed on a side street due to no parking where valet was I went in and asked the receptionist and she asked if there were any parking out front and she would take our keys for the car to be valeted later- she did walk out to the front of the hotel with me and it was found that the valet was still there and valeting cars we were then able move into a spot for a possible valet- there was no further instructions from the receptionist on how the valet worked there we waited in the car for an amount of time and the valet did not come. I then walked back inside and the receptionist then told me to leave my keys with her and then she would have it parked at a later time. At this point the valet then walked in after I gave the receptionist my keys and she asked me for my keys and I informed her I gave the keys to the receptionist. She told the receptionist shouldn’t have the keys the communication between staff seems to be disconnected. The valet the took my keys and my number to send a link to request my car in the morning…..(text was never sent since she wrote my number down wrong) The room was okay it honestly was much smaller then other Marriott’s that we have stayed in the past. The bed we very firm and we had difficulty sleeping (again we normally stay in the Marriott and this has not been a problem) The light switch is worked by your key card which seems pretty silly since you have to leave the key car in this in order for the lights to remain on. When the morning arrived we went down to the valet since we did not get a text that would allow us to request our car. The gentleman who was there (and for some reason there was only one valet) was rude and seem to be unorganized and lacking in any type of customer service skills.

Great staff, clean and comfortable hotel.

Secure. Clean. Comfortable. Great breakfast- eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, oatmeal, chocolate milk etc. AND Lexington Market is next door and had so many affordable food options.

In town for a volleyball tournament. The hotel is fantastic, the location is in a dirty area. Daytime is ok. We walked to the convention center in the mornings for our games did Lyft back to the hotel. I would stay again, and but not in a floor lower than 3rd- due to outside noises.

Would definitely stay again...very clean and great staff.

Staff was very welcoming and polite.

The area is a bit sketchy even though it is a short walk to Camden yards.

Amazing!!

Absolutely amazing. From the valet, check in, and bar everything was amazing. Even though the location wasn't far from a not so good area you felt safe and secure. It was really clean and myself and my husband had an amazing night's sleep in the comfy beds. The bartender was absolutely amazing and had wo derful energy. I can't wait to come back.

Wonderful stay.

Very clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but ok. Centrally located , parking is a problem but you can ask the front desk for a valet parking.

Parking is a problem. No vacancy at the parking places nearby but was able to do valet parking for $40 charge.

Großes Zimmer in einem Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Sehr freundliches Personal. Gepäckaufbewahrung war problemlos möglich nach dem Auschecken. Kostenloser Kaffee in der Lobby. Großes Zimmer mit großen Fenstern.

Die Umgebung war gewöhnungsbedürftig, das Viertel und die Menschen auf der Straße war etwas spooky am Abend. Leider gab es beim Frühstück nur Einwegteller/-becher/-besteck.

Nice hotel stay in Baltimore

Nice hotel, clean and quiet rooms. In a good location for attending an event at M&T Bank stadium. For a free breakfast, it was actually pretty reasonably.

The area is OK but not the nicest within Baltimore. As mentioned the breakfast was OK for what it was but don't expect top quality.

Great place to stay near UMD Hospital!

We selected this hotel because it was close to University of Maryland Hospital. only a 5 minute walk. Very glad we did! The staff was very friendly and helpful! They made excellent restaurant recommendations! The room and entire facility was very clean. Furniture was all very comfortable!

Not having free parking but the valet staff was very friendly! The got our car quickly when we needed it!

LOVED IT

The staff was exceptional. The manager on duty allowed us to check in early and it was a total blessing. He was wonderful. The entire place was beyond clean. Wonderful room and location for a show at the CFG arena. Would definetely recommend.

Beautiful hotel

Was so convenient from the metro and then to the football game.

I was charged more for the hotel room, then what I was quoted on booking. Was never told anything different and never given a receipt.

Lovely property but was a bit shocked at the $40 (+tip) parking when I was lead to believe the parking was free/included in room fee.

Paid parking & very unclean bathrooms in the lobby…also the cable was not working both days we were told it was due to the fog?

Overall a good stay - staff was friendly.

Did not make it to breakfast, the bar was convenient - drinks were overpriced.

We waited almost an hour for someone to come and set up our TV in the room.

Fantastic hotel that has so much to offer

I love everything about the hotel especially the room with high ceilings. The location is so great and walking distance to the Inner Harbour. Further it's next to Hippodrome Theater and good for an overnight stay after a show.

There are certain areas that are a bit dodgy. I need to be aware of my surroundings and not make a wrong turn. Always consult the hotel staff.

Clean comfortable room, I'll definitely visit again!

Great location if you are attending a conference at the convention center. Not far from other Baltimore attractions (inner harbor, stadium, all that) either. Surrounded by theaters. Not too many restaurants but the options were not bad for a conference quick bite. The room was sparkingly clean, the air was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Good hot breakfast with the staples (eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal), spacious lobby with free coffee (!). I really enjoyed the stay and rested very well, and I really enjoyed Baltimore!

Yes, I would stay there again, knowing what to expect outside.

The staff, accommodation, cleanliness, breakfast and logistics of connectivity of the place are all excellent! Location in terms of ambience and surrounding environment is a different story.
