Situated in Okaloosa Island, this charming condo for $353 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. 406 Osprey-This three bedroom two bath spacious condo is located in the Osprey Building of the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort - home of the 700 foot lazy lagoon river as well as multiple other swimming pools and hot tubs! This condo does come with access to onsite fitness center as well. This condo boosts beautiful views of the Chattahoochee Bay and the Lazy river from an extra large wraparound balcony. Watch your family float by while sitting on your private wraparound deck. Master bedroom has elegant furnishings with king size bed, a sleeper chair and spa style bathroom. Jetted garden tub in bathroom with walk in tiled shower. Large walk in closet. LCD television for your viewing pleasure with dvd player. Second bedroom has King size bed lots of closet space and TV/DVD with access to full size bathroom. Third bedroom has queen bed with twin over and twin under. There is also a private balcony off of this bedroom with chairs and views of the gulf. All linens are provided and are top of the line with high thread count. This condo will provide you and your family with plenty comfortable furnishing to enjoy during your stay. A nice big kitchen with granite counter tops and and stainless steal appliances. Breakfast bar has additional seating for four. Dining area has large table with plenty of seating for everyone. Living room has pull out Queen Size sleeper sofa and a twin size sleeper loveseat which makes it the perfect place to unwind after a long hard day at the beach. Great place for movie night with large LCD TV and DVD player or catch the big game. The condo of course comes with free Cable TV and free WiFi high speed internet access. Destin West offers something for every guest. 700 Foot Lazy Lagoon River with inner tubes provided on site free of charge. Waterfall swimming pool, two huge hot tubs too. Guests in the Osprey Building also have access to an additional seasonally heated pool located directly below this property. All Guest of Destin West will also have access to the newly built pier and marina great for fishing. The walkover bridge also puts you within a 10-15min walk of several local beach side restaurants and bars. There is also a convenience store next door open 24 hrs a day in case you forgot something during your stay. Destin Area Information Destin and Okaloosa Island are well known as the World’s Luckiest Fishing Village largely because of it roots as a top fishing destination and quick access to deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The area boasts the largest charter fishing fleet in the state of Florida. If you have an interest in charter deep sea fishing here is the place. But, there is much more to our area than charter fishing. Our area has evolved over the years to be a top beach vacation destination. Featuring sugar white sand beaches and emerald colored water, it is an absolutely beautiful area. The area itself offers many upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities. Much of the development of the area has been done with luxury lifestyles in mind. The area also has one of the busiest private airports in the country and a great commercial airport within 20 minutes of Destin West Beach and Bay Resort.

The property was a great location with a great view of the lazy river that is lit up at night. Close to the beach multiple restaurants, and activities available, all in walking distance.
The property was clean and well decorated. The description for the 3rd bedroom is incorrect, because there was no twin under the queen as listed ("Third bedroom has queen bed with twin over and twin under."). I'd also suggest if you advertise 10 people and rent for a week, provide enough bath towels, toilet paper and paper towels to accommodate.

This condo exceeded my expectations! It felt luxurious and cozy at the same time and was way more spacious than I had imagined. Perfect for my family of 8 spring break vacation. Lots to do on property and nearby. Master bedroom and bathroom was a dream! And the balcony was perfect for morning coffee and beautiful Florida sunsets. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay here again!

The property was clean and we loved the location. Kids had so much fun in the lazy river and pool. Its but of a walk to get to beach but not that bad.

We were expecting a trundle but it was just a small thin mattress on the floor. I was not comfortable with having my son sleep on the floor so he used the pull out bed in the living area. That staff was friendly and the unit was clean an comfortable. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return! Thanks!

Well appointed and one of the nicest condos we've stayed in over the years. Plenty of space for the 5 of us but could accommodate more! Living room is spacious and there was pretty much everything we needed. Our feet got black the very first night. So while the floors looked clean they must have been dirty (or dirty mop?). Everything else was as if new! We did miss having a pizza cutter & a scissors, but all other utensils were available. We were pleased to find extra pillows and blankets available.
We never had a problem waiting for an elevator! The pool & outdoor amenities were beautiful...the walk to the beach was lengthy but we knew that might be the case going in. Nothing one can do about the weather as it was unseasonably chilly; but we enjoyed the outdoors non the less. It was certainly nice to have so many things to do near by such as: The Boardwalk, The Gulfarium, and the Adventure Park. The are even easy to walk to. It's an easy trip to town for additional restaurants and Publix & Walmart. (however I would suggest going to the Walmart in Destin instead of the one nearest in Fort Walton-Destin's is much nicer)

Well appointed and one of the nicest condos we've stayed in over the years. Plenty of space for the 5 of us but could accommodate more! It's a beautiful property that overlooks the bay! Prior to us going I emailed the contact person and ask if they had a Pack-N-Play since we would be taking our 14 month old with us. No one ever emailed me back, since we didn't want to go empty handed we brought our own. Once we got there, there was one in the closet.
The owner need to have the pest control out to the property as we saw 2 roaches in the kitchen area.
The dryer is also in need or repair or replacement as we had to dry clothes 2-3 times.

Nice, clean condo was exactly what we were looking for. Great location on Okaloosa Island, close to Destin but without the traffic. Near plenty of restaurants and things to do. We had one issue with the door code allowing us access and the owner was quick to answer and get it fixed.

Vacation
Having never rented through VRBO I was concerned about the process. All of my questions prior to the trip were answered within a day and provided a detailed explanation/response. Upon arrival we discovered an issue qith a patio door, and although it couldn't be fixed during our stay, I received a response almost immediately and maintenance was there to "look at it" within a few hours. Great location, great place. We will definitely be coming back!

After years of only staying on the gulf side, we decided to stay on the bay side. The kids loved the lazy river and pools and catching crabs in the bay. We only walked over to the beach once and drove the other couple of times due to it being a longer walk from the Osprey building. We’d definitely stay on the bay side again.

We had a great stay, besides the occasional music blaring from people’s balconies and pool area. We did call down to front desk and it got resolved. The rental was very roomy and nicely decorated! Loved the beach wagon and supplies..so VERY thoughtful!! Lots of nearby restaurants...Rockin Tacos was YUMMY! The lazy river was the BOMB!! Many special memories were made...thanks for sharing your place!

It was a very nice condo and very clean. There was a lot of noise because of other residence. Also the noise made be the pool equipment was very annoying. We could hear it in our condo also. Other than that all was very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here!
The property was just as listed - beautifully decorated and very clean. Our entire family had a great week here and enjoyed all of the amenities the resort had to offer. It was so nice having the wagon, umbrella and beach chairs already in the room ready to use! Any questions that I had were answered very quickly. The beds were SO comfortable and everyone slept great (even my kids who don't usually sleep well on vacation!) We can't wait to return to Destin!
