This unit in newly furnished with upscale furniture and decor. The private balcony, accessible from both the master bedroom and living room, provides an unbeatable ocean view where dolphins can commonly been seen daily. The Master bedroom has a king bed, large flat screen TV, balcony access, and private bath. The second bedroom has two queen beds and adjoin the second full bathroom, which is also accessible from the hallway. There is a separate bunk room with a TV for kids. The living room can sleep two on a queen sofa bed, and features a large Flat Screen TV. The full kitchen has modern appliances with seating for 10, perfect for dining in. Summer Place Resort is located at 1111 Santa Rosa Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, 32548, directly adjacent to the popular Waterscape Resort. This central location on Okaloosa Island puts you just minutes from all of Destin's local attractions. Enjoy all that the Emerald Coast has to offer with every Summer Place Resort vacation. Our pristine white sand beaches are unique to Okaloosa Island. The ocean here features beautifully clear, emerald blue water, which is home to dolphins and other fun-to-watch sea friends. All reservations come with a set of complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella from March through October. We are local and provide same day assistance, and If you need anything during your stay, you can be assured that our courteous staff will be happy to assist you in any way. COVID-19: This property is available for occupancy. Your health and safety are our top priorities and concern. Our overall stay was amazing. The place was well kept. The furniture in the livingroom could definitely use an upgrade, but we weren’t there to spend our time in the livingroom :). The pools and hot tub were well kept. The ocean color is a beautiful emerald, and white soft sandy beaches! Free beach chairs were a plus and easy to access.

We have come down to The Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Alabama beach for years now. This is the first time staying in Fort Walton beach and we loved Summer Place. The condo was perfect for the 6 of us. We had 4 teens and 2 adults. It was clean and the perfect size for us to be on our own when we wanted but together when we wanted. Thank you for letting us enjoy the beach front property. Sitting on the patio was our favorite! I love how you can see the firework show on Wednesday nights from the patio!

This property was very clean! The employees tested and adjusted the water every morning. They even went around and wiped all the lounge chairs each morning. The 3rd floor provided a perfect view of the ocean while also allowing you to be close to the pool. The lobby and elevator was kept exceptionally clean as well. Our room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the balcony had plenty of seating.

We had a wonderful stay in Fort Walton Beach. Condo and beach were perfect for a family. Easy/short walk to pool and beach. Quick drive to grocery and walk to pizza and seafood restaurants. Everything was wonderful.

Summer Place is the Perfect Family Getaway Spot
We had an amazing time at Summer Place in April. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. It is in the less busy part of the beach, but just over the bridge is Destin with tons of activities and restaurants. The pools and hot tub were well maintained and my children made many friends there. The beach chair set up daily was very convenient. The pier is also very close. The kids fished off of the pier and there was 4 restaurants and ice cream at the pier. Overall, we will definitely be back to Summer place again next year and would love to stay in 305!

Love the location
We have stayed at several condos at Fort Walton. This one was my favorite, the walk to the beach was so short, the building isn't as big as some of the others, which was an advantage. We did have a few small issues but Stacy took care of everything in a speedy fashion.We have used Sunset Resort Rentals several times, they are great to work with. Have always been pleased with them.

Family Vacation
My family loved our two week stay the beginning of June 2020 at Summer Place Unit #305. What attracted us to this particular complex is that there are under 60 units making its beachfront not too busy during COVID-19. We also chose it due to the pools/hot tub located between the condos and the beach making it easy going back and forth from condo, beach, pool. Our kids are 3, 6 and 10, so while they would love a pool with more frills, they still had plenty of fun and often had one of the two pools to themselves! When looking at a variety of units, the bright "beach" decor of this unit and comfortable looking furniture stood out to me. The kids liked the idea of a TV in each of their rooms which came in handy as we were there during a tropical storm. The TV in the living room (not sure about the others) allows one to log into YouTube TV, Netflix, etc... don't forget to log out, I had to call management after check out to do so for me, they were very accommodating! As I had read in other reviews, the unit looks as it does in photos and is very clean. I have stayed in a variety of beach rentals and this one stands out for sure. Specifically, they provide a lot of towels (bath, hand, washcloths and dish), dish/dishwasher soap, sponge, laundry detergent (bring your own dryer sheets, if you use them), hand/body soap, cutting boards, pots/pans of all sizes, cutting knives that actually work, crock pot, wine rack, wine opener, a roll of paper towels and two rolls of TP per bathroom. We were there for two weeks so we did have to buy more TP, paper towels, garbage bags, saranwrap to store leftovers, and salt/pepper shakers but all of that was to be expected.
With respect to location, we originally looked at Destin because I recognized the name but chose Fort Walton Beach because we could get one more bedroom and beachfront at the same price point as a two bedroom across the street from the beach in Destin. Having driven through Destin, I can see why people go there as there is so much more to do, see and eat but Fort Walton Beach was perfect for our family and budget. We shopped groceries at Publix (closer but more expensive) and Walmart (further away but cheaper) and got take out at various restaurants, we love Rockin'Tacos! In the evening, we would walk along the beach to the pier to get gelato at the Boardwalk. A lot of families are out walking the beach in the evening, and then later at night looking for crabs, which was nice to see.
If we return to Fort Walton Beach in the future, we hope to stay at Summer Place Unit #305 again!
